Throughout the years, Kindred has sent respite caregivers that have provided good care for our son and who have been open to doing things differently than they are typically accustomed to since our son is quirky. Their caregivers keep him safe while playing outside, feed him, play with him, bathe him and change his diapers. I've had concerns that I've also discussed with the office which they immediately addressed and provided a solution when appropriate. In September 2023 we were blessed to have 2 other caregivers join our team.This allowed me to see another side of Juan Carlos' people skills. The two people that joined our team are skilled and trained working with people in my husband's condition. However every patient is different. Juan, Carlos has done and continues to do an excellent job in training the caregivers how to best work with Wayne. Juan Carlos is very patient and is very mild mannered. He emphasizes that the three of them and Wayne and I are a team.He emphasizes that the three of them and Wayne and I are a team. We are so blessed that he does not have an ego. The addition of two other care workers in our home has been wonderful and an easy transition. A great part of the reason is because Juan Carlos is a true TEAM player.
