Poseidon Bike

As an avid mountain biker looking for an affordable entry-level gravel bike for winter training, I…read morelanded on the Poseidon X (Gen 3) after hours of research and video reviews. The initial experience was fantastic. I was impressed by the $5.98 "free" return shipping and exchange offer, which gave me peace of mind regarding sizing and color. The Pros: * Shipping & Packaging: The bike arrived quickly. I specifically appreciated that it was shipped in a box with a TV printed on it...a clever way to ensure couriers handle it with care. * Assembly: Setting it up was a breeze. Poseidon provides excellent guides and video resources that made the process quick and easy. * The Ride: Now that it's built, I genuinely enjoy the bike. It's exactly what I needed for training when the trails are covered in snow. The Cons (Where things took a turn): Two days after the bike arrived, I realized I had accidentally used the wrong credit card for the purchase (entirely my mistake). Given the great service up to that point, I reached out to see if they could simply swap the payment method. I was told this was impossible because the order was fulfilled, with no further explanation or effort to help. To use the correct card, my only option was to utilize that "$5.98 return shipping." This is where the policy feels "sneaky." I discovered there is a 15% restocking fee, plus additional charges if the bike has been removed from the box or ridden. That 15% fee more than covers the cost of shipping and makes the "hassle-free" marketing feel very misleading. Final Verdict: I sent two follow-up emails pleading my case and have since been completely ghosted by their team. It's a huge bummer because the bike itself is solid, but the rigid customer service and the "fine print" on their return policy left a very sour taste in my mouth. Buy it for the bike, but be 100% certain about your purchase before you hit "Order," because "hassle-free" it is not.

Poseidon is on a mission to bring high quality very affordable bikes to the masses. I've been so happy with my dropbar X and have had fun customizing it to my liking! Beginners will enjoy these bikes due to the affordable build and seasoned riders can pickup a great affordable bike and customize as they see fit. They also support ShopPay Pay-in-4 which is great at bringing down the barrier to entry! They have a great online community and the people who work there are super helpful and knowledgable.

He showed me a few bikes before I made my selection for my son's bike. Their expertise and exceptional customer service were the deciding factors for me. To top it off, they had the item in stock and offered the most competitive prices in the area. Scott even went the extra mile by helping me load the bike into my truck. I highly recommend Scott and Sherrie to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly bike shop. I'll definitely be back to Bikecraze for my bike needs

No email after a week, so I emailed to ask the status and was told the main extra (shock absorber post) was being shipped there and would arrive within a week, and asked me to pick it up and bring it back in when the part arrived. I wrote back that I don't drive unless I have to (medical), have never ridden an e-bike so would be transporting it home to learn to ride it, and so asked him to store it until the part was in and it was a full build. Scott accommodated, and I got a fully built PERFECT bike for me yesterday. Scott helped me load it into my SUV (a tight fit, so grateful for his help) and I shook his hand. Got it home, unloaded it, and am more than excited to learn a new healthy habit. Thank you, Scott!
