It's worth noting that since these are luxury houses owned by individuals and it's over a festival weekend, the community organizations these houses are in can be very strict about guests coming into the neighborhood and home. This is totally outside the control of Royale, though I've found they always do their best to educate me on the particular rules and try to help wherever they can. They also came in clutch last year when the house I booked had a flood and was unrentable. They were able to find an amazing place (from someone who I believe actively didn't rent over Coachella weekends) and saved the day. As long as I'm going to Coachella I'll be working with their team!

We initially worked with Katie, who was very nice and transparent about the company's merger with Luxury Leasing. The initial handoff from Luxury Leasing to Royal Rentals was quite bumpy, but we understood that transitions can be difficult and were happy to give them some grace. Royal Rentals came out to evaluate our property, but afterward we received no follow-up. After several weeks, we finally heard that the home looked great and would be a good fit. From there, I repeatedly had to call to find out what the next steps were and whether they were ready to move forward. Katie apologized for how bumpy the process had been and explained that they were implementing new software as part of the transition. She was very kind and said she would make it up to us and send over the paperwork needed to move forward. That was approximately a month ago, and we still have not received the paperwork or any further communication. It has been almost 3 months since we initially contacted them to help us rent out our property in PGA West. I completely understand that mergers and transitions can create challenges, and we tried to be patient because of that. However, after multiple instances of having to initiate the follow-up ourselves and ultimately receiving no follow-through at all, we no longer feel comfortable moving forward with Royal Rentals. For us, communication and responsiveness are incredibly important when entrusting someone to manage our home and take care of our guests. Unfortunately, if our experience as prospective clients is any indication of the level of communication we could expect going forward, it simply isn't a fit for us.

Based on that, I made a reservation on 4/14/25 for LV213 for the following year (4/9/26-4/13/26). The total confirmed price at booking was $1,913.40. Between August and September 2025, I was in contact with the property through the management portal and Booking.com. At no point was there any indication of pricing issues. On 11/15/25, I received an email from Booking.com stating that the property had informed them the "correct" price should be $4,464 USD -- more than double my confirmed rate. I was given 24 hours to accept this new price or my reservation would be automatically cancelled. After seven months of holding a confirmed reservation, this sudden price increase appears tied to Coachella festival dates being released. When I declined to pay the inflated rate, my reservation was cancelled and refunded without my consent. As a result, I was left without accommodations during a peak weekend and unable to secure comparable lodging at a reasonable price. I had already booked flights and rental car arrangements based on this confirmed reservation. This experience reflects a lack of consumer protection and accountability. While my first stay at Legacy Villas was positive, I cannot recommend booking with this management company due to the risk of confirmed reservations being cancelled for higher pricing opportunities.

I've vacationed here 8 times and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The owners are meticulous about keeping it clean and modern. When we were there, they were even swapping out the beds for new ones! This is our family reunion place because it works; enough space for privacy, but plenty of gathering places for dinner and poker games too. And, if you ever have a problem, a quick text to your concierge solves the problem - he responds within minutes. I've never been disappointed staying at any of these mansions and you won't either.

Do not book with AMG. I became seriously ill from mold exposure in one of their properties -- and…read morethe way they handled it was negligent, dishonest, and downright disgraceful. I booked a 6-week stay at 2545 S Gene Autry Trail Unit E. Shortly after arriving, I became severely sick. It was a type of illness I recognized from previous mold exposure, but significantly worse. My doctor urged me to have the home tested -- the results showed the property was hazardous and unfit for occupancy due to toxic mold. I had to leave immediately for my health and safety. I informed management, who acknowledged the situation and assured me they would collect and safely store the four packages I had ordered before leaving. That was over a month ago. Since then, I've dealt with 39 back-and-forth emails and two long drives -- totaling four hours -- based on false assurances that the packages had been retrieved and were ready for pickup. I was repeatedly told they were "secured at the office," only to arrive and be told they were somewhere else -- once in "Building B," once supposedly "in the mailbox," and eventually that they'd been mailed back to the sender. Why was I lied to so many times? To cover up carelessness, laziness, and complete incompetence. At no point did AMG take responsibility for their disorganization or their failure to follow through on basic communication. I made it extremely clear I was driving a long distance to retrieve these packages. They wasted my time, lied repeatedly, and left me empty-handed. Worse, they have never removed the mold-infested property from their website and are still actively listing it for new guests. When I briefly returned to retrieve my items, the house had dead bugs in the entryway. It was clearly uninhabitable, but they continue to rent it out anyway. My main contact was Julia Charbonneau, and I also corresponded with Brianna Collingwood. Neither showed a basic level of competence or care. This company is careless, dishonest, and dangerously unprofessional. If you value your health -- or even just your time -- stay far away. There are plenty of better-run rental platforms in the desert, including Airbnb and Furnished Finder.

We are glad that we were able to find this service because we did not want to be on a bus tour. We like the idea of being able to have a private tour. We took the Mid-Century Modernism Tour. Our guide, Jack, was very professional and courteous. He was very informative and humorous at the same time, speaking in a dulcet tone; would be great in broadcasting. We liked that the tour was very interactive and we could ask Jack questions and he glibly answered them. We enjoyed checking out all the landmarks and various neighborhoods to get a sense of what Palm Springs was about (a really interesting and welcoming desert oasis for sure!). When we come back to Palm Springs, we are going to check out Jack's other tours.

Our group of 3 tested their limits and found them fully satisfactory in all areas. My wife and & had a friend from New Jersey who unexpectedly had one half of a day free and had never been to Palm Springs. Jack A. would be our guide for a 2 1/2 hour tour of celebrities homes and local places of interest. The problem was that we did not know when we would get into town. Jack A was completely flexible with the times and ended up giving us a night tour. Jack was knowledgeable with not only the homes but also the stories of celebrities' true experiences. His information flow was non-stop and very interesting. Also, he had a professional quality voice. He allowed us to dally or get out of the car he provided. He was patient and accommodating. The cost was very, repeat very, affordable for our group of 3 and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Palm Springs. I doubt most of the residents know what we do.
