I received the report the following day, as promised, and it was extensive and very easy to read and understand. He colored coded each item inspected according to whether there was an issue that should be noted, or an issue that required repair or a professional to look into it further. I have never seen a report as complete as this one, and a report that is so easy to read. By color coding each item, it is very easy to focus on those items that need further review. This enabled me to go over these items with my real estate agent and decide what action should be taken. Not only was the report quite complete, I was able to speak with the home inspector the following day. He took the time to discuss each item with me. There was no rush to get through the conversation. He clearly understood this is a major purchase and an important for me. I feel very comfortable giving Cal-Spec the highest rating and recommendation. They are a professional organization.

His report is 40 pages of legal non liability boilerplate verbiage and maybe a page or 2 of non critical visual notations. Bryan did an amazing job inspecting the entire house. He did the exterior first inspecting the roof, then exterior walls, electrical panels, if there were any possible rodent entrances, etc.. Then inspected the inside for electrical, plumbing, smoke alarms, water damage, doors, sewer lines, everything!
