We compared the sample noted in the order (grayish color), and the result (almost black) and the difference was obvious. The store personnel informed me they cannot control how the color of the frame would turn out ...? They offered to re-do everything with a different wood but their selection was quite limited (and if the color isn't something that is guaranteed - what is the point to redo the work? Also, the wood in that frame wasn't completely finished and they had to stain parts of it over. The quality of frames degraded, but prices doubled up. I was very disappointed.

I was also impressed with the care she took in my project which required the use of spacers between the mat board/art and the glass to best show off the deckle edge of the art. (I made this error myself- they worked great once I figured it out!). 2- magnetic sheets are flexible, steel dies are not. Adhere the sheet to a thick piece of card stock. I use the pieces that come w the dies, and adhere the sheet to that. Makes it way easier to hold on to.

Glasses l seemed to be ok until I got them home and noted the arm was coming off, thought maybe missing screw but no, stripped screw so no fixing. When I returned to lenscrafters blonde associate told me they don't touch the arms (clearly they must to adequately change the lenses) but then switched her story to this happens all the time unfortunately and they're not held liable and would I like to purchase a new set of the same frames? He pick some other glasses too just to make sure if it's with my face and the style that I want so we did that right there. He told me the price and everything like that. Took pictures with me with the glasses on and it was very good. He made me laugh a lot so I'm very glad that you can make your customers laugh and feel welcomed. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. The eyeglass frame selection is not huge but it is certainly extensive; both my wife and I were able to find frames that looked nice and fit us. We had been going to private optometrists but we were surprised to find that the people who work at Costco are just as nice, knowledgeable, and professional. We felt confident they knew what they were doing and had our best interests in mind. After we ordered our glasses, we received them in less than two weeks, which is very fast. The only "downside" to ordering glasses from Costco is that you have to take a number and wait in line to get someone to help you; to work around this, we always go when they first open up in the morning. The other thing is that they don't process Kaiser claims, so we had to fill out a reimbursement form with Kaiser and receive payment from them. Other than that, we are totally happy with our purchases and will go to Costco again when we need new glasses.

She said she needed to call my contractor to verify use of their discount! (On a Sunday) The nature of the conversation was juvenile and snotty. I've never ever ever been treated like this at Sherwin-Williams! I've always been treated with respect and integrity when using my contractors account! I am extremely insulted and will never use the store again! They weren't apologetic they were just even more rude! How incredibly disappointing!!!! I informed my contactor so that he can see how his customers are treated and he said he doesn't work with them often anyway because he receives a better deal elsewhere.
