Andy Cooper (son of Rick Sr.) and his team were some of the most meticulous, thorough, and professional workers that my family and I have ever used; in addition to being just a pleasure to talk to and interact with. They arrived at nearly dawn and did not leave until near dusk making sure that our odd, steep driveway was "perfect". Our driveway specifically needed the water from the street to stop rushing toward and collecting in front of (and flooding) our garage. Cooper made sure to lay out all of our options in a transparent and fair fashion and let us choose exactly what we wanted--no gimmicks or up-selling. We ended going with a french drainage system and after an initial test wherein the water DIDN'T flow away from the garage as planned, the team made sure to correct, correct, and correct the asphalt again until they were certain our problem was fixed. No corners were cut here, and for the more than fair pricing we got a beautiful new driveway and a beautifully laid paved walkway to our front door. Would use again, and plan on it! read more

Once I agreed to have the work done we set up a date to do the job, I was surprised at how soon he could do the work. They worked very efficiently and were done in no time. My original driveway was made in 1977, and widened in 1985. It is a triangle shape, and is about 50 ft. X 50 ft. on the two right angle sides. I was not in good shape, had to be all dug up, and needed quite a bit of gravel to even off the base materal. I contacted Rick, he came and quoted. Quote was close to others. and did the job within two weeks. What a job they did. They used a lot of asphalt, and made a smooth and flat surface with a slight tip, to drain off water. Everyone that stops by comments on it, including my snowplow guy who saw it when riding by. I highly recommend Rick, Andy and crew. A very meticulous asphalt contractor who is passionate about his job. Rick came highly recommended and I can see why. He spent the time examining the yard, making suggestions, measuring and did not rush or assume anything. That said, he carried out the job of ripping up the old driveway, regrading, adding cobblestone and crushed stone to beautify the landscape and to enhance drainage ( which I did not think about). The price was fair and the service was incredible. Hired Rick Cooper Paving to add a small area off the side of my driveway to park my trailer. Out of the three companies I called and received estimates from I felt the most comfortable with Rick Cooper Paving. The only company that said they would take into consideration of the irrigation pipes that run under the driveway. And went out of their way to lay a conduit pipe down before laying down any base. This would allow me to make repairs if anything happened in the future. The crew as on-time, very polite, asked me for my input on where I wanted the crushed stone they were moving to go, and the end result was dead on. I would recommend using this company! read more

Rick Cooper Paving came out to pave my very lumpy bumby uneven driveway 4 years ago....... they excavated 2-3 feet of very wet material and many very large boulders. Only after a bit of research and speaking with the elders in the neighborhood did we find out that there once was a pond that existed in the same exact spot that they used for ice skating YEARS ago. They (Cooper Paving) at no additional cost took out additional material and replaced it with a more stable material before paving. I hired Rick Cooper Paving to re-pave my approximately 300 foot driveway. While the sales pitch up front was a bit strong, they had a great price, and also did granite cobblestone work, which was a plus. They started work within a few days of the contract being signed, and worked quickly. The crew was very considerate and friendly. The paving itself went very well.
