More outrageous is when you have to shovel substantial snow from your driveway to leave for work and they show up after you have cleaned up the snow, and they go back without having to do anything, but still charge you for the work YOU did. What a RIP OFF!!! Furthermore, their rates are 148% higher than other similar companies. Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout. When there are branches or yard waste around the yard, they throw it in the trees or into the neighbors' yard. It's baffling how they have been so frequently recommended. I would not recommend them. They are way too expensive to be so careless and inconsiderate to your property - you can do much better if you shop around.

It was within 5 days that they scheduled a time, and then completed the works within 3 days. They found further rot in the wood of the frame so while we were stuck in somewhat of a tough place since they already removed the chimney, we had no choice but to fix it, but I felt James gave us a fair price and didn't abuse the situation.
