Lately we have been having issues with one room being 5-6 degrees hotter consistently than the rest of the house and have been told it was a dirty filter and possibly the ducts need to be cleaned. Neither of these 2 items are the cause of the issue. A couple years ago we had to replace a capacitor to the tune of $400. Quality is lacking overall I beleive. We also pay for annual check ups and they dont include filters in the cost. I have to purchase them and then usually have to remind them to change the filter. We paid for what we thought was a top of the line system and overall have been dissapointed in what we paid for.

So easy & happy to write this raving review. My sister recommended Tyler's heating & AC to me…read morebecause she was very pleased with his work, services and price. Once I contacted Wayne (the owner) he immediately got back to me. Him & his wife are the friendliest couple and so easy to talk to. They work well together in getting the job done. The day he came out to check out one of my old AC units that had been giving me issues for years was a no brainer that I was ready to replace it. He advised me on what was needed and what would he could do at a very fair price. Once we made a contract agreement, he started the job when he said he would and finished when he said he would. The quality and value of his work show in everything he did. He even made more space in my attic, changing out some old equipment, making my breathing environment a much more stable place to withstand. What he showed me behind the scenes should never be in anyone's home to endure. He made suggestions along the way, and I didn't hesitate to accept recommendations just to get it all done at one time and not have to go back later. I will have him come back and service my other unit, especially if it looks as bad as the one he replaced. There was so much debris and leaves inside and around the compressor and on the outside that I'm sure the one he didn't replace is just as bad. My attic is a very hot space to work in with the temperatures in the 90's outside, so you can imagine how hot it was up there and he handled it with ease and didn't complain. If you want someone that is honest and reliable then Tyler's heating & AC is a company you can definitely count on. So, give him a call today. Believe me, you won't be disappointed. Tyler's Heating & AC is awesome.

The team that came out, Peanut, John, and Jeremiah, was absolutely incredible. They were thoughtful, kind, professional, and so quiet I barely knew they were here. They arrived on time, completed everything, and had the area cleaned up by 2:30 p.m. Based on Ronnie's quote and recommendation, they also did minor duct work to enlarge the supply ducts to the far end of the house. We heard and felt air coming out of three vents that we honestly had not felt in over 20 years of living here. Ronnie was the only person who mentioned that solution when he came out to quote us for a new system, and it made an immediate difference. While the install was happening, Mrs. Daniels, the owner, came by personally to collect payment and have us sign the contract. I am usually someone who prefers to do things online, but having her show up in person and put a face to the business was such a thoughtful touch. She even hugged me at the end of the transaction. From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. The system works beautifully, the house already feels better, and the people made the whole process feel personal and cared for. I would absolutely recommend Daniels.

We received estimates from 3 of the largest and highest rated HVAC companies in the Richmond area and they were all quite comparable in price. Based on the recommendation of a friend we called Hungerford for a final bid and were very glad we did. We got a great HVAC system and expert installation for substantially less than the 3 larger companies. Andy Evans worked with us to tinker his original plan to incorporate a few tweaks that we asked for at no additional cost. He was on-site with his crew for much of the work, insuring quality control and even lent us 3 space heaters for the cool nights while the installation was being done.
