I don't think they really submitted me to anyone, I truly feel that they decided not to, it took so long to get to the submission of candidate stage, I bet the job was already filled. She did some looking around to see if she can find something for me that matched what I had on my resume. We then did a small interview over a video call & after she got to know me better she went above and beyond to try to find me a job. She actually found me a temporary assignment until she could find something long term. This gal was constantly updating me with whatever was going on via phone calls, emails, texts. She also helped me get set up in their system as everything is done online with them. She's very easy to work with & was able to get me a temp job, get me paid for my hours worked & I never had to go through the trouble of having to go to the office in person, though I wouldn't have minded meeting her officially. I eventually ended up finding a job on my own, but kudos to her and the team for trying to land me somewhere. The leads and interviews they were setting me up with were pretty good paying positions. If I'm on the job market again, I'm giving them a call.

I thought I did a decent job for them. pretty regularly they dropped in an additional restaurant that I did not sign-up for. It was over an hour round trip to go and do the evaluation. I thought I was being a team player and accommodating when I did evaluations there several times. In October I was given an evaluation to do. We went and dined on the prescribed date. I do the evaluation when I return home while everything is fresh in my mind. When I went to open the link it was missing. There was no way to open it. I emailed Heather twice to advise her I was unable to open the report to complete it. It had been my experience that if a report was late they would contact me. That did not happen either. When I finally received an email it was late at night when I opened it. It basically instructed me a had to complete the report by midnight. I opened the email after 11pm. When I contacted Eye Spy I was basically told I was a liar. They could open the file without any problem In the office. Well, previously I could open every file. Obviously, there was a glitch somewhere. It was wildly insulting to someone who had written many reports for them to make the assumption that I no longer knew how to open the files. The insinuation was I am a liar. Maybe one of the most entertaining aspects of this incident is they are supposed to be about hospitality and customer service. They were flat out hostile and rude. I had copies of the emails I sent. I wasn't asked for those. I was just accused of lying. You don't get paid by Eye Spy to evaluate. You do it in exchange for an often nice quality meal. If you do a decent job, it will take you an hour to an hour and a half to write the evaluation. So, if you are thinking of applying to be an evaluator, you now know what you may be up against. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with Eye Spy. They failed my critique, they ended up being the restaurant equivalent of a cockroach swimming in your soup.

I was set to work a contract position for 6 months at a non-profit and was specifically told the number of hours constituting this work period that I was to work. Three months into my contract, my supervisor at the non-profit "reminded" me my contract was going to end in one month since the woman whose position I was filling while she was on maternity leave was supposed to return. However, this was news to me because my LMG recruiter, Fernando, informed me I was supposed to have a 6 month contract and not a 3 month contract. I was at first disappointed with the non-profit I worked at and not LMG because I assumed the non-profit was responsible for the miscommunication. But when I informed my supervisor that I was supposed to work for 6 months, she showed me the email correspondence with Fernando from LMG that mentioned the specific dates I was supposed to work. Her email specifically showed the dates for the 3 months I was supposed to work and not 6 months like Fernando told me. In the email thread she showed me, Fernando even responded to her and confirmed the 3 month-long contract. Therefore, Fernando showed a lack of professionalism and high level of incompetence by not communicating this important information to me. When I told Fernando that my contract would be ending early, he had the audacity to blame me for taking a vacation and said that must have been the reason they were terminating me early. This made absolutely no sense since I informed my supervisor of my vacation months in advance. He refused to take any kind of responsibility for the miscommunication that he was clearly responsible for. When I asked my supervisor whether my vacation had anything to do with my contract ending early, she assured me it didn't and said the employee returning from maternity leave was the only reason I couldn't work longer. This was one of my first professional experiences as a new graduate and I regret ever working through LMG, and it was extremely frustrating and negative.
