We ordered the katsu burger with fried chicken as the meat and I ordered the heiffer with a 60%40% Chuck/pancetta Patty and fried chicken and both were simply perfect. The meat in my Patty was a perfect pink in the center and lovely with the smoked cheese melted smoothly over the top of it. The bun was divine as well. The katsu burger really mimics well the katsu sauce we had in Kyoto and Tokyo earlier this year and really worked with the fried chicken. Now for the star of the show. The Pad Thai Fries were out of this world. I devoured every last bit of these fries despite how full I was from the burger. Overall, this was the best meal I've eaten in Eastbourne and the best burger Ive eaten anywhere in quite a while which includes burgers in the states. They also have a very interesting array of drink selections to quench your thirst while eating these massive burgers. I might have to come back to Eastbourne just to eat here again

Food was delivered to the table within 10 minutes, I would highly recommend the 6oz beef burger, grilled bacon and blue cheese with a side of fries, yummy!!!! My friend had the 6oz beef, Cheddar and onion rings which look equally delicious and somewhat mouth watering! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the service was faultless. I really like the decor, clean, crisp and modern with no gimmicks which is a refreshing change to some other burger places around. They have an out side decked sitting area at the front, which considering this place is on a bustling high street really catches your eye and quiet inviting. I also do fear that on a busy week day lunch time the place may become too rammed up with buggies as north street is parent central, I'm sure the management will be able to come up with an innovative solution though. All in all a very nice meal, we didn't pay but if we had I would have come away feeling that I had got very good value for money.

Set up in a tiny, shack-like kitchen just beside the Giggling Squid, Brighton Burger serves hearty, honest, flavoursome food. Their menu is wonderful, hosting many unusual eats and obscure burgers - from wild boar to buffalo- but they also server your usual burger and fries to a very high standard. The burgers themselves are almost moist and full of flavour. So moist, in fact, that my takeaway burger soaked through the paper bag (my only teeny complaint!). This can be forgiven though, for as soon as you bite into the juicy burger, cuddled by sweet, soft bun and topped with whatever glorious accompaniments you opted for, everything can be forgiven. Literally everything. This last visit had me trying out the buffalo burger, which was absolutely delicious!
