I had to pour Dave over everything hoping for some more flavor but the sauce was so sweet.

Jones bbq was closed so I googled bbq near me. I was expecting southern style Greens and mac n cheese. Nope! Greens has no season or any type of meat in it, no juice whatsoever. Mac n cheese the same, zero season, baked beans tasted like they were out the can ribs no season as well. I guess they season based on the area they are located in. I poured bbq sauce over everything hoping for some more taste but the sauce was sweet. If you are looking for southern bbq this is not your place. Not to mention the food isn't freshly cooked, it's in wrapped pans like catering style. Very disappointed.

BBQ Plate with Applewood Smoke Brisket, Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Collared Greens

I had a phenomenal experience here. Richard is exceptionally warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft, and it shows in the food. The meats were tender, juicy, and well-cooked. Compared to other BBQ I've had, the apple notes from both the applewood smoking and in the sauce provide a balanced and unique flavor profile. Mac & Cheese had great texture and flavor as well, not too dry nor too saucy. The store sits right on 34th and while it doesn't have seating inside, there are plenty of benches out at Madrona Park down the street to eat at. It's like a plate at a family BBQ gathering brought to an exceptional level: packed with warmth and flavor. I will be back again!

My husband and I got some takeout from there on Sunday night (Aug 30, 2026). We probably should have gotten different entrées in order to try each other's dish. But we were both craving the brisket bowl, which serves the meat on top of their smoky jalapeño mac & cheese. It was very tasty! And actually very generous portions too. We were talking about it later and in future may just get one order and split it, because it was plenty for two. We had enough leftovers that we had a second dinner. We also tried their coleslaw, which was good, but nothing unique. The fellow who was doing all the work in the truck was named Brad, and he was very friendly and helpful. I had asked how spicy the mac & cheese was, and he kindly gave me a small taste of it to try. I'm a little bit wimpy when it comes to highly spiced food, but this was not overly spiced at all. Depending on when you go, there may or may not be street parking. When we went on a Sunday at 6pm, there was no problem. They are open every day from 11 to 8. And there are two picnic tables in front of the truck, in case you want to eat there. FYI, I don't remember seeing any beverages on the menu. Maybe they have a pitcher of water or something, I don't know. But you might want to check, and maybe bring a beverage with you. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience and the food. We'll definitely be back!

The counter staff are always friendly, and helpful in trying to make some decisions on what to order. My favorites include: the brisket, smoked chicken, pulled pork, mac-n-cheese, and an occasional salad. We often get our food to go, but when we've eaten in, there is generally plenty of space to sit, and if you sit outside, you can see the folks hard at work smoking the various meat.

A great place to go with family or your lover. The all you can eat concept drew me here hahah. it is hard to find a solid "all you can eat" restaurant that is not only worth the price & location but also worth the food. You come in, choose your selection (per person that is) of what menu food you want (ranging from $35 to $45) and you're set. Though you have small portions, you can choose more if need be until you're full. If you're ever in Seattle, try this gem out. You'll love it. The only minor thing i didn't like about this place is the hype of Wagyu beef. I ordered the menu with wagyu and when i ate from the wagyu menu, it was ok, it wasn't the best. I finally realized that wagyu comes in different tiers, ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most delicious and of course more expensive (which i don't think they offer here). 5 also has the most fatty and delicious wagyu that just melts in your mouth. I think this was a tier 2 or 1. That's all hehe.

They also almost always have great specials when you spend over $80! Must-Orders & Foodie Pro-Tip: * Special Lamb: The absolute star of the menu and a non-negotiable must-have. - i like to ask for additional spicy powder on the side and dip more since it is little blend for my liking * The Cucumber + Cold Noodle Hack: If you're a savory girl like me, order the cucumber salad to start, but save about a quarter of it (and the sauce). When you get cold noodles for dessert, dunk the leftover cucumber and tangy sauce in--it adds the perfect crunch and acidity to balance out the sweetness! Drink Note: They still serve beer, but it's a bit sad that they don't sell original/non-flavored soju anymore. Regardless, the incredible food and lively vibe make every trip 100% worth the drive.

Legend has it that tens of thousands of years ago, our ancestors lived by eating raw meat and…read moredrinking blood. One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."

It's simple but satisfying Pork ribs salad: pork had barely meat on it, it wasn't tender and kinda bland, you definitely need the sauce. The salad was a bit much in terms of dressing. I wish they had the dressing on the side so I can put as much as I want. They were nice and gave us 3 ribs though instead of 2. Chili: came with chips. Pretty standard nothing special. The bread was pretty standard as well. What really impressed me was the cornbread. It hit the perfect cornbread notes to my preferences - really rich, buttery, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture with prominent butter-corn notes. Seriously one of the best cornbreads I've had in my life! And such a great value at the way its priced, like the rest of the menu. Definitely check it out, if anything grab a piece of their cornbread.
