I brought it in to see if it was safe to drive. Josh was straightforward and told me it was safe to drive, but at the beginning of when they recommend replacement. I appreciated the honesty and the lack of pressure to buy tires that day. I went home and did some research on the tires I wanted. Went back and they were able to not just price match Costco but actually beat the price. Elijah helped me when they installed the tires, and even did an even exchange for my one newer tire for a tire they had on hand so it would match the size of my spare, essentially prolonging the life of my spare by a few years. After they were installed, by no fault of Discount Tires, I realized that I regretted the purchase since there was a different tire that was a little better fit for what I want. I went back two days after the tires were installed to see if there was anything they could do, fully expecting that they might tell me that there's nothing they can do since the tires had been driven on once. Juan actually gave me the full credit toward purchasing the tires that I wanted to exchange for. I feel like I pressure tested just about every scenario of their customer service model, and at every point, they went above and beyond my expectations. I honestly wasn't sure customer service this good still existed today in large companies. They truly put the customer first and go above and beyond to help their customers. I highly recommend them and won't hesitate to keep coming back in the future.

I also like that their center is in a quiet area of Carlsbad--so many tire places seem to be on the corner of an insanely busy intersection, so I appreciate how easy it is to pull into the lot at Chuck's. My most recent visit was for a tire that was losing air. Though they said it was challenging to find the hole at first--as it was so tiny--they persisted and repaired the area for a very reasonable price.

It was a very sobering event that happened after a very nice vacation. We looked for the nearest tire shop and found Discount Tires. What a blessing!! Diego met us with a huge grin. We explained that we didnt know what the issue was. He was happy to check out all four tires to help us diagnose the issue. After doing so, he was unsure about what the problem was but noticed that one of the tires had really low pressure. He conducted another diagnostic using a different tool and found a small piece of metal as the culprit of the puncture. He quickly helped us solution the issue by offering a used tire that was more affordable. I inquired about the cost of a brand new tire to avoid uneven wear on the vehicle and Diego easily transitioned us over to a rep, Joseph, inside the store who completed the transaction. Diego's friendly disposition and positivity helped to make a stressful situation all the better. He was so kind, so helpful, so respectful and an absolute professional. Diego might deserve a raise!!! They listed code P1326 but they didn't clearly explain that it's associated with a known Kia engine issue/recall. Instead, I was told I had to approve a $1,300 repair for radiator hoses and a coolant flush before they could look further at the engine. Not only did three other auto shops quotes come back at half the price for the same work, but they left out critical information about my engine most likely not working after those repairs. I had to google all the codes myself for that information. The price difference was concerning and they left me feeling uncomfortable about the recommendation. Most auto shops would see that there was an engine recall code, and refer me to Kia. Not try to scam a pregnant woman into paying $1300 for a car that still wouldn't run after their repairs..
