Planned on dinner here when we planned our Casey get away. The restaurant is beautiful and so different. Staff was warm and friendly. Lots to choose from on the menu. I went with the shrimp pasta and the salad bar. My dish was good, nice side shrimp. Salad bar was average. I ordered a martini that was very weak. My friend had the rib eye and she said it was fantastic. She also had the warm bread and she said that was amazing. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

We enjoyed our food at this restaurant & also loved the area out back that was a sweet park like area that we let our leashed dog walk around for a bit.

Food was great. Tastes like home cookin. We had meatloaf with their homemade red sauce, fried chicken, "world famous" pork chop, and mashed potatoes. Salad bar and hot bar were worth the trip. Server was great and super helpful. Hostess was nice and chatted a bit while waiting for our group arrive.

A slight step back in time is what you find when you step into Richards Farm Restaurant, staff that is friendly and helpful, portions that leave you full and with a small lunch for the next day and a tummy that is full and happy! We ordered the loaded potato skins appetizer and unlike most places that may give you 4-6 pieces our plate was piled high with no less than 15 skins!!!! I also had the soup and salad combo. My husband had the catfish sandwich. Mine was excellent all around, my husband felt there was too much breading on the catfish but otherwise okay. No room for dessert. Don't forget to check out the pitchfork!!!

I would probably give them a 3 1/2. My wife ordered the Catfish Sandwich and it was delicious. I decided the get the Salad Bar and Hot Bar. The salad was great, but the Hot Bar was not that good. Probably because we got there a little late everything had sort of dried out. If we ever get back here I would order the Catfish and forget the Hot Bar. The service by our server was very good and she was very friendly as well.

Don't understand the high ratings, overpriced and the food was definitely not worth the money. Very dark inside if you like it that way.

I was actually quite impressed with J Ford's! We went for my brother's graduation and stayed in…read moretheir rose room, and every member of the staff was amazingly friendly! Not only that, but the food was stellar. Here's what we tried: -Foie Gras Special: 9/10 - I just love foie gras and wow this one was cooked to perfection and the accompaniment of the cream cheese foam and the apple was amazing! I could eat it all to myself. -Denver American Wagyu 8oz: 8/10 - I did really like it, though I may have gone with Spiralis cut next time, as this was small and not as flavorful as I would've dreamed of. Decadent, of course. -Mac and Cheese: 10/10 - A perfect Mac and cheese. I don't think I could've dreamt of a better one. The flavor was outstanding, the pasta was al dente, and the cheese was just soooo gooey. It was addictive. -Truffle Butter Mashed Potatoes: 7/10 - While these were good, they had no truffle butter taste to them at all. In fact, we wondered if it had been mistakenly marked as truffle butter, but apparently it was correct. -Korean Corn: 8/10 - Cheesy, gochujang-ey, yummy. It's kind of like a Korean elote, so I'm not mad at all. -Gooey Butter Cake: 9/10 - I really don't know how to describe this other than sweet and yummy. It was also soft inside, which paired well with the crispier crust. -Chocolate Decadence: 10/10 - This just melted in my mouth. It was gooey and delicious and dark and rich and WOW. It's like the pudgiest brownie you'll ever eat. Overall, well impressed!

There was a lot of things on the menu I would be excited to try. We got there on the anniversary so there were 3 Christmas themed drinks that were $4 each which was a great deal. The moscato punch was great! As an appetizer we got the JB's béchamel Boats. These were basically a little fancier potatoe skins. They were very good. It came with 4 of them and the Bechamel sauce did make them special. I got the Norwegian Salmon which was honey glazed. It was good. I would recommend. I wish it was more charred on the edges. I got the mashed potatoes and the garlic Parmesan broccoli. If you like garlic, you will love the broccoli. It was really flavorful! You get a ton of mashed potatoes and they were good. My boyfriend got surf and turf. A filet mignon and scallops. He got two scallops and they were both wrapped in bacon. It thought they were smaller than what he was expecting. The steak he thought was good as well and the French onion soup he got as a side. As dessert we got the chocolate lava cake and the bread pudding. Both were really good! The atmosphere is decently fancy with waiters dressed in nice clothing and nice table clothes on all the tables. Definitely a good vibe. I would go again but would try other entrees.

Servers were hard to find to ask for more (we only got ONE drink refill the rest of the meal they were dry!)! When a server was finally found to request ketchup (that should have came with 4 meals automatically), we were given ONE small to go container of ketchup to split among the table. I didn't taste the steaks, but the main issue was serving! The delicious shrimp is the only reason they got more than one star

They wanted to seat us is a communal dining area instead of the stall we had requested at the time of booking the reservation. We asked to be redirected and we were accommodated. It was a Monday evening so not very busy. Our Server was absolutely the best. His knowledge and recommendations were spot on. Two of us ordered the filet and one ordered the strip steak. The filets were cooked to order and enjoyed by both. However, the strip steak was a bit tough, had gristle running through the middle and a large piece of fat running down the side. It was cooked perfectly though. Once you cut away the gristle and fat, the steak was really good. The sides of Caesar salad, sweet carrots, sweet potato casserole and the huge baked potatoes were all hits. Will we back... yes but it would need to be a very special occasion as it's a bit pricey. Each dinner with drinks, dessert and a tip was close to $100 each.

I had the soy glazed salmon which I have had several times and is my favorite on the menu. The garlics mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables are my go to sides. The number one best thing to get here through is the bread pudding... best you will ever have hands down.

I'm so glad I looked at Yelp reviews for restaurants in Terre Haute…read more This one is a little on the outskirts. The parking is right beside the building, which is nice. The building is absolutely stunning. From the mural along the side with some Indiana favorites to the very tasteful woodwork inside. All four of us thought our food was really good. How often does that happen? The newest menu item was the Salisbury steak. Might be the best I've ever had. There is a little kick to it. Nothing that little water doesn't take care of. haha when I mentioned the cake to the waitress, she said it's probably the goat cheese and the mashed potatoes. I never knew a goat cheese being spiced. But, hey, I really enjoyed it! If I lived in this area, I would frequent it a lot.
