The "old bank" description of the location sounded unique but there is no reflection of it in the dining space. In addition, the hand written signs plastered everywhere did nothing to elevate my expectations of our dining experience. Nevertheless, our lunch service was friendly and fast. We were pleased with the menu variety and everyone in our group was happy with their food. Portion sizes vary quite a bit - the gyro was small but the chicken Parmesan was a full plate of pasta with 2 large breaded chicken breasts and it came with garlic bread. The club was a hit and my husband enjoyed his bigger than the bun breaded tenderloin. I will say that the breakfast skillets at the table next to us looked amazing! Average diner food in a place best described as a hole in the wall. Service was excellent and food was good. Nothing fancy. Sandwiches are priced ala cart and fries etc are an up-charge of $3.25 which makes it a bit pricey. My tenderloin was thin and crispy like I like it but didn't have a lot of flavor. We found this place while looking for a spot to eat while driving to Indianapolis from Austin. The restaurant is in a building with some other businesses. You sort of go through a lobby to get there. The restrooms were pretty clean too. The space is pretty clean and the servers were really friendly. Our waitress had no problem giving us lots of time to order and even bringing back a menu so we could look at dessert options. I picked a simple egg and cheese sandwich while my husband ordered a Reuben. His order came with fries. Everything was cooked really well. The fries were incredibly plain though. Thankfully there is ketchup on all the tables. Husband said he hadn't had a Reuben that good in a while. After that we ended up ordering a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. It was well baked and flavorful. I've never had that kind of pie before so I don't have others to compare it to, but I loved it. read more

I forgot to review until now! We had breakfast with everyone on our wedding day in June at Reflections before we walked across the street to get married under the world's largest rocking chair. They were very accommodating for the party of 11 and were fine when we had to move the reservation back last minute by an hour... and everyone was excited when we had the bride "reveal" with me walking in and my now husband seeing me for the first time.. in the middle of the restaurant! The service was friendly and prompt and it was very affordable. They even comp'd my meal and my husband's :) We came back this past weekend for our 6 month anniversary and had breakfast here again. Food was hot and tasty - can't complain about that. Menu is a bit strange. MEAL items appear with a price but have add ons for toast or potatoes. Assume this has resulted from customers not wanting to pay for something they did not want. Just different is all. Service was slow even though the room was less than 1/2 full. Assume it was due to additional support of carry out meals - the new normal. Building appeared to be under maintenance? Dry wall over kitchen with screws showing - unfinished. Bathrooms (at least the mens) needed some serious TLC. read more

Don't waste your time and money! This is absolutely horrible to eat at! Two of us had taco salads. The server verified how they were suppose to be when taking our order. We received the suppose to be taco salads, without the tomatoes, onions, and with very little dark lettuce under a totally covered meat and cheese creation. We had ask for no dark lettuce and she assured us that it was all light iceberg lettuce. It was not. Thankfully we didn't have enough lettuce to call it a salad. What lettuce we did have had been soaked with the hot meat therefore making it mushy and wilted. Terrible! We didn't complain, but we both also didn't eat much of it. When a server came to clear the dishes we had laid aside, we wanted to offer some helpful hints to make the salad better so that they could at least make the next customer happy. So, we mentioned that they shouldn't layer so much hot meat and cheese covering on what lettuce they put in there. We didn't even mention that we didn't get the tomatoes, onions, or green peppers in this so called salad. This particular server kept interrupting me and telling me that they make the taco salads right. Very rudely and argumentative too!!!!! I gave up. We didn't ask not to pay. It was not our intention to get anything free. But, she was very rude anyway! Next thing we knew, since it is a small restaurant, she and the other server were in the kitchen talking and pointing at us. That did it! Not only were we argued with, rudely treated, but now they were doing this. So, when I went to pay the bill, I told the server that we knew that this was going on. That she shouldn't be treating a customer this way. She didn't care as she proceeded to still be mouthy! I am not one to cuss, but she had really gotten to me by then. I ask for her manager and she told me it was her. I ask for the owner's name and she told me that she wouldn't give it to me and he wouldn't talk to me anyway. Then, I told her that her attitude really sucked and she kept it up. She actually threw my credit card at me and yelled at me to sign it. Seriously! I signed it and told her that she was acting like a real Bitch and walked away. As I walked away, she yelled "it takes one to know one!" It reminded me of a Jr High School Student, but she was not that young. Immature and ill mannered, yes! Like I said, I didn't provoke it, but I was so frustrated trying to reason with her, that I said two things that I don't do normally. Very accurate though. The town's large items are fun to see. The other people we encountered were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. But, we will not recommend that anyone go to this restaurant and get treated as rudely as we were tonight! read more

You have to walk through a foyer to get into the restaurant but once inside, it is spacious, clean, and cool and allows a nice view of the street. I had a patty melt and paid the extra $1.85 for the soup (salad or fries were the alternate sides) which was chicken and rice--delicious but only a small cup portion, kind of small for that price. The patty melt was delicious and more in keeping with the $6.65 price. I'm glad that they are open on Sunday. read more

I had no complaints about this place at first, the waitress took our order, and we waited for our food like anyone else would. My mom and I ordered the patty melt and we both asked for the onions to be cooked well done, especially for my mom cause she's very sensitive to raw onions, and we also asked for our fries to be well done, shouldn't be that hard right? Well when we got our food, my moms onions were practically raw and the fries were far from well done! Now that wasn't our issue; the issue was how our waitress and everyone else responded. We asked them to bring the onions back to cook more, it took forever and by the time they brought it back the fries were cold(my mom has to eat everything together). The waitress started throwing an attitude, I was listening to the way she was talking to the kitchen about us and that's what pissed us off, we didn't have a hard request and they said that it was our fault the food was cold! NO IT WASN'T! We specified how we wanted our food and they didn't do it right. Then they tried kicking us out cause we she didn't want to argue? My family loves eating here! Breakfast is definitely our favorite and it's served all day!! I always get the hobo skillet with scrambled eggs and salsa. It's excellent!! The waitresses are very sweet and will always do everything they can to make your dining experience the best that they can. The atmosphere is charming and welcoming. My kids love looking at the stuffed lion upon entering. Make sure to stop in and get some breakfast and don't forget to visit all of the "big things" Casey has to offer! read more
