Mexican skillet with egg over medium.

Food & service was wonderful. Would come back. Restaurant has nice atmosphere with brick walls.

Pork tenderloin and side of fries($3.25 up-charge for the fries)

Average diner food in a place best described as a hole in the wall. Service was excellent and food was good. Nothing fancy. Sandwiches are priced ala cart and fries etc are an up-charge of $3.25 which makes it a bit pricey. My tenderloin was thin and crispy like I like it but didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall I would say we would recommend for a quick lunch when passing through.

Gyro sand-which and the small house salad

Quaint little diner to get breakfast lunch or dinner... only open a few hours and can get busy... big salads and good food. I had the gyro and the house small salad. Enjoyed it and nice server. Thanks! Use to live here in Casey and moved away in 1992 and back for the pop corn festival and 25 year class reunion.

    Mexican Omelette

Best Mexican Omelette I've ever had. Pro tip: add sour cream. Apparently Yelp has a minimum character limit before I can post, so here's a random useless sentence.

We came in after a big rush, on a festival weekend so it was busy, service was fast and polite. Tables clean she cleaned ours before we sat. The picture of the can of Salsa is from a Facebook group I do. Had nothing to do with the restaurant. We arrived at 11:30AM. Worth a visit

    Simple egg and cheese sandwich

We found this place while looking for a spot to eat while driving to Indianapolis from Austin. The restaurant is in a building with some other businesses. You sort of go through a lobby to get there. The restrooms were pretty clean too. The space is pretty clean and the servers were really friendly. Our waitress had no problem giving us lots of time to order and even bringing back a menu so we could look at dessert options. I picked a simple egg and cheese sandwich while my husband ordered a Reuben. His order came with fries. Everything was cooked really well. The fries were incredibly plain though. Thankfully there is ketchup on all the tables. Husband said he hadn't had a Reuben that good in a while. After that we ended up ordering a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. It was well baked and flavorful. I've never had that kind of pie before so I don't have others to compare it to, but I loved it.

Great breakfast for the prince great friendly service. In historical building a must stop.

Out the front of the building, on old bank.

I forgot to review until now! We had breakfast with everyone on our wedding day in June at Reflections before we walked across the street to get married under the world's largest rocking chair. They were very accommodating for the party of 11 and were fine when we had to move the reservation back last minute by an hour... and everyone was excited when we had the bride "reveal" with me walking in and my now husband seeing me for the first time.. in the middle of the restaurant! The service was friendly and prompt and it was very affordable. They even comp'd my meal and my husband's :) We came back this past weekend for our 6 month anniversary and had breakfast here again. Same friendly and prompt service. Good diner style breakfast in an old bank. Highly recommended for breakfast if you're in Casey!

Chicken and rice soup. Yummy but needs to be a larger portion.

You have to walk through a foyer to get into the restaurant but once inside, it is spacious, clean, and cool and allows a nice view of the street. I had a patty melt and paid the extra $1.85 for the soup (salad or fries were the alternate sides) which was chicken and rice--delicious but only a small cup portion, kind of small for that price. The patty melt was delicious and more in keeping with the $6.65 price. I'm glad that they are open on Sunday.

Loving the French Toast and bacon!

Their display of goodies --pastries, bagels, cookies looked absolutely yummy. We ended up getting a. Hoco late chip cookie which was delicious. Even the menu had original coffee recipes dedicated to each of the Harry Potter houses. I'm not sure if this coffee shop was originally Harry Potter-themed or if it was only for a limited time, but the first thing I noticed when we walked in was how cute and cool all of the decor was. Service-wise, the baristas were personable and so fun. I wouldn't shut up about how cool the shop was, and they appreciated it and asked where we were from and what made us stop in their small town. We talked for a while, and I ended up ordering The Chocolate Frog under the Ravenclaw house. I got my drink fast and the barista told me to crack my cup when I was ready to drink it because of the crackling chocolate on the cup. When I was served my drink, they didn't put the lid on it because customers do it themselves in case they want to put anything extra inside. However, my husband and I both tried to put a lid on the drink and couldn't get it, so we had to ask one of the baristas to do it. She explained a trick she uses to easily get them on, and we were on our way. Seriously, such nice people working here! The latte was absolutely to die for. It was smooth, flavorful, and absolutely amazing, so it makes me very sad that I won't be able to have it again for a long time, if ever again. They need to open this place by me in Chicago or the suburbs!

The coffee shop layout was nice and inside had some cool decor. I love espresso so I ordered the Iced Vietnamese- A delicious blend of Espresso, Sweetened Condensed Milk, and Iced Coffee. I do think it could have used more sweetened condensed milk (personal preference). The staff was great and very friendly. They made up my drink quickly. I do recommend you pop in at least once to order something from here.

I did not see this coming... I am jaded by my big cities lifestyle, but absolutely celebrate small town charm when I see it. Doing a drive over from Terre Haute to Lincoln Trail Lake, we find ourself in the bustling urban center of Marshall afterwards (kidding about the bustling). Always seeking coffee spots as a place to have a cup, but also to sit and visit, I discover Gypsy Queen Coffee Bar on-line. Reading about the local lore of the history of the Gypsy Queen right after entering the front door, I am taking a breath for this place says "chill, sit, settle in, visit." Table seating, comfy living room like chairs, some outdoor bistro seating out front and lots of space, this place is most welcoming. The worn looking brick inside adds to the overall decorative warmth. Merchandise like mugs, t-shirts and hats, a gelato cooler ready to be scooped out to order, some pre-made/baked items in their cold case from quiche, to empanada like biscuits to a "big salted pretzel," and not to even mention coffee, coffee drinks, tea, bubble tea...this place is excellent in options. We felt welcomed, relaxed, invited. Had an exceptional cup of coffee and a nice visit with my folks while sitting in the big comfy chairs. As my parents enjoy the short drives outside of Terre Haute we often take, I can absolutely see us coming back over here sometime and making sure to stop in to Gypsy Queen Coffee again.
