They responded quickly and came out within a reasonable timeframe, but that's where the positives end. The Yelp project included the detail that it was a tankless water heater, but they showed up unprepared and then complained to my wife that no one told them it was tankless. The details were in the original project listing that they responded to, so no excuse there. They left and came back. When they returned, they did a flush of the tankless water system which took less than an hour and charged my wife $450. This is an insane rate for a simple procedure. A simple hourly rate of maybe $200 would've been acceptable. They told her they'd email me a receipt with the details, but they never did which only makes me question things more. Like I said, I had great experiences in the past. They installed my water softener over 3 years ago and they've done service for me in the past at reasonable rates. This time was unprofessional, unreasonable, and unacceptable. I won't call Mountain Valley Plumbing again after this experience.
