The Staff was so professional and welcoming. The check in was fast and efficient. I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room before I was called to be seen. The waiting area and dental rooms was very nice and inviting. Overall I am very pleased with my choice and I highly recommend if you are looking for a Dentist.

The swelling returned, then went away, then returned, then went away, and so on. At that point I suspected I was allergic to something I was eating, so I limited my diet to things I knew I wasn't allergic to, then added things back one at a time. When I started eating ketchup again, the swelling returned. It turns out I am allergic to tomatoes, which, according to Doctor Google, may cause blistering in the mouth. When a search engine gives you better information than a professional, one has to wonder what exactly these folks learn in dental school. Bottom line: never trust a dentist to solve a medical problem. They just don't have the knowledge.

The first visit was in reference to having the rest of my teeth pulled out and get dentures. Which I didn't do anything about as of right now. My second visit 12-27-18 was reference to having a bad toothache the night before, I called them in the morning and they had me come in the same day that I called. With this visit he informed me what teeth was bad and what I should have done with no pressure from him to do this or that. I then decided to have two teeth pulled out and he wants me to wait until my gums heal and have the rest of my top teeth pulled out and new Dentures put in. One of the best things I can say about dr. Sanchez is he will give you his advice and do whatever you want him to do. I do plan on going back in the next couple weeks and having my remaining five teeth pulled out and getting Dentures so I can smile again. He is also a very concerned person about his patients.

When I lived in Wheaton, which was a lot closer to downtown Silver Spring, I still always wrote/typed Wheaton, MD 20902. I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Also talks to people like they're beneath her and as if you're uneducated. The x-ray tech even slapped my hand. I'm still working through that mentally. When people find dental offices that are convenient, these kinds of behaviors can cause lack of trust and extend their process of treatment towards a healthy lifestyle. It causes a hunt for another office and having to start all over again. Delaying care. Some people are tired of having to start over and over with new offices. Running into people like this contributes to unhealthy habits. Everyone has a bad day and is going through something, especially customers. I think it's best that they take that into consideration. It is the responsibility of the staff to work through their personal issues or problems at work on their own time and not take it out on customers. If your personal or work life is affecting you that much that you're bringing it to your customers, take some time off or quit and give someone with respect for others an opportunity to provide a better experience for better treatment. This fear mongering works well enough that I agree to it. They print me out a quote for several thousand dollars. By my next appointment I've had time to think about it and do my research. I'm feeling a tad suspicious so inquire: "How will replacing my current implant help prevent bone loss if my current implant isn't doing so?" He responds, "We're not replacing the implant just the crown." This is not what was discussed prior. He also admitted he didn't know if replacing the implant would help but there "might be a correlation". In summary, sounds like he was trying to use scare tactics to persuade me into getting expensive work done that I didn't need and he got caught when I called him on his bs. You only get two sets of real teeth--- make sure your 2nd set gets taken care of by only the best!…read more In 15+ years of using Dr. Schwartz i've now come to realize that I had many cavities while using other dentists because I wasn't getting as good of a cleaning. I don't want to directly name my hygienist, since I don't know if she wants her name on here, but she knows who she is and I really have to give her credit for doing such a great job cleaning my teeth each time-- I certainly haven't changed my habits to make such a big difference! And just think, a good hygienist wouldn't want to work for a bad or unpleasant dentist. My time with Dr. Schwartz is short in comparison to the hygenist, but he's incredibly nice and I've had no complaints over any of the work that he has done. He pulled two teeth out as part of my invisalign treatment plan to make room for straight teeth along with two or maybe three fillings over the years-- all went very well and my smile and bite is better than ever. I've moved 7 times since 2006 and after one of the moves to the Baltimore area I was immediately looking into invisalign and the highly rated orthodontist that I found didn't do general dentistry but he recommended Dr. Schwartz so that is where I went. When I moved from Baltimore to Chicago for 3 years, and then from Chicago to New Orleans for another two years, I still flew back to baltimore for my dental appointments with Dr. Schwartz. I'm back in the area now and still seeing Dr. Schwartz with a mere 30-45 minute drive. If you live in Chicago, I'd still recommend Dr. Schwartz-- the flights between MDW and BWI are really plentiful and you can fly in for the day for an appointment. It's a bit harder from New Orleans, but still doable.

Fantastic in every way Looking for a Dentist - Search no…read moremore Dr. Nancy is your new Dentist Incredible facility Knowledgeable - friendly staff I'm one of those guys who has a totally irrational fear (more of an aversion) of all things "Dentist." At 50 I've been so blessed to have great dental health, not even one cavity, and all my own teeth remaining except my wisdom teeth. I've been to a Dentist a few times in my life, other than for the wisdom teeth removal, for routine cleanings. Anyway, after recently experiencing some "tenderness" in one of my lower back teeth, my wife set up my appointment at Caton Dental. It's very convenient for us, located right around the corner from our home. So, I went with some trepidation, expecting the worst. From the moment I walked in my fears began to fade. The office is pleasantly decorated and really has a way of putting one at ease. It's crisp, clean and friendly; well lit and very contemporary. Think friendly and professional office environment without all the paper stuff laying around. It was very inviting! Crystal, at reception, smiling all the while, handed me an iPad and told me the office was paperless and I could use this to fill out my forms and sign in. SWEET! Three minutes - done. Next thing I hear my name called on the intercom, "BIll, you can come upstairs now." I walk up the steps to a very welcoming "treatment area." I'm greeted by a pleasant young lady who takes me for panoramic x-ray, carefully and kindly explaining the whole process every step of the way. Then I'm shown to the "chair." I was greeted immediately by Dr. Nancy, who immediately relieves my reservations with her friendly and professional manner and presence. I was immediately confident! After a thorough exam, Dr. Nancy carefully and methodically explained the situation and took all the time I needed to lay out her conservative treatment approach to my problem. Throughout the process, she was showing me exactly "what was what" on a large screen right in front of my eyes, with a huge view of the panoramic x-ray of my mouth. I'm a "techie," so the technology really helped. There was never a moment when I was unsure. That is so reassuring, especially at the Dentist. After Dr. Nancy explained the very conservative treatment plan, it was off to cleaning. Again I was greeted with a smile from a very pleasant staff member, I think her name was Sandy, who proceeded to clean and polish my teeth. Throughout this process she was pleasant, informative and very engaging. She discussed good dental health practices and made some recommendations about a few things I might do to maximize good dental hygiene practices. All in all, I can't say enough GOOD about Caton Dental. From a real "denta-phob" it's a FIVE STAR experience! Check it out!
