I am the one who brings my grandchildren here, and I have always been really impressed by the treatment they get - and my treatment, as well. I love the setup of their basic exams - a large viewing window so caregivers can observe, and in-ceiling screens for the kiddos to watch kid-friendly video fare. They get headphones and can really distract themselves from the proceedings, making it pretty much stress-free. Dr. David always personally speaks with me and tells me what's going on with the kids' mouths. He is clear and detailed with information, while also being professionally friendly. I recall, as a kid, dreading my dental visits. But my grandkids actually almost look forward to theirs! Definitely a 5-star experience for us all.

She's kind, gentle, engaging and MORE. The room was well equipped for all kids and had stimulating items to keep my l.o. busy and occupied. Dr. Terri is a gem. She's gentle, caring and because she's a pediatric dentist... she has to sing a little. My l.o. enjoyed his exam with Ana and Dr. Terri. He really enjoyed brushing the teeth of the stuffed animal. Imagine mixing a preschool teacher with a dentist, that's Shiny Chompers. They welcome new patients by name, and the reception is filled with TV, toys, tablets, and a large fish tank. Parking can be limited, but there is an elevator to take the stroller up to the second floor that the office is located on. They are incredibly thorough and make each session enjoyable and comfortable. They have tvs and sunglasses for kids to use during their dental appointments and always send kids home with a goody bag and token to use at one of the many vending machines filled with prizes in the lobby.

My daughter had a cavity and the Dentist suggested that instead of just giving my daughter a filling , a white cap would look better aesthetically. Trying to get my daughter to hold still for something that took that long was very challenging. This ended up being a two day procedure. I was not forewarned about how difficult this would be for a child her age. Because , of the difficulty ( she was terrified and it took 3 people to hold her to have this done ) the work wasn't done well. This was done to her two front teeth. Although she only had a cavity on one two both were filed , the affected tooth more . Within months the cap fell off.;(3 months) My daughter rarely smiles with her teeth showing since this happened. Before this she always had a big smile. I have taken her to two Dentist since and been told this was totally unnecessary work that was done to her. I know as a Mom this has impacted her self esteem. I thought this was great two women running a Dental Practice. I was referred to them by my regular dentist. But , now almost a year later I realize what a mistake it was to trust this practice. I watched the staff thoroughly clean each chair (the entire chair - head to toe) and associated station after each patient. Loved seeing that! Out of all the medical appointments I've been to (and on behalf of my child), never - not once - has the office EVER had printed school calendars (for multiple Counties) available at the checkout station, where you make the appointment or next time. It's small things like that (and the immediate chair/station cleaning) that demonstrate great customer service. I would definitely recommend them, based on my first experience.

The area of improvement lies with the billing department. There were occasions where I called, left messages without my call being returned. Popped in and asked why my call/concern went unanswered but the office manager was always sure to make sure that I got resolution and left confident that they'd take of care of things. A solid outline of what payment is due prior to service and payment options are available to minimize financial impact. When a recommendation was needed for my son's wisdom teeth removal, a clear explanation of who we were being referred to was done and they even assured me that the surgeon accepts my insurances. Gold star to all the hygienists here who conduct themselves in a professional, approachable manner and are excellent dental hygiene coaches for young adults who need pointers.
