Going 3 zip codes west of my home, I get to Cloverly, MD. 20905 zip code is Silver Spring mailing address, which the post office determined large swaths of land as "Silver Spring" even though Cloverly is far from Silver Spring itself. When I lived in Wheaton, which was a lot closer to downtown Silver Spring, I still always wrote/typed Wheaton, MD 20902. I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Yesterday, after Dr Laura completed my root canal and I sat waiting for the 3-D printer to complete formation of my new permanent crown. Dr. Kevin stopped by the cubicle to see how I was doing. I complimented him on the unusually congenial attitude, reflected by every member of both his front office and treatment staff and asked how he and his brother have created a work environment where everyone seems to really enjoy their job. He said that both he and his brother seek to help employees feel good about themselves. I went in today for a cleaning and left out thrilled to realize that I found a dentist that offers quality care, professionalism, and experience. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and each individual that I came in contact with was very knowledgeable about the type of work that they were going to perform prior to them, performing the work on me. I felt relaxed and I felt comfortable knowing that I was in good hands. I met with Jari first. Jari took my x-rays and she really broke the ice because we talked and talked and we found out we had so much in common.. She did not rush me. She let me say what I had to say while she still did what she had to do in a professional manner and then along came Danielle. Danielle was the hygienist who did a thorough job cleaning my teeth. I was very excited when I left there, knowing that my teeth received an excellent cleaning. When Danielle finished her portion, then came Dr. Carter. Dr. Carter and Danielle worked side-by-side. They both spoke to me about my teeth and told me what needed to be done and explained everything that was going to happen along the way and this really made me feel at ease because, I knew that I found a place who would take good care of my teeth the way I expect and the way that I do. What a great practice! On my first visit I received a thorough "powerwashing" of my teeth that removed all of the tartar and plaque and set me up for the next 6 months! There was no upselling pressure at all which was much appreciated! My husband and I have both been there a couple times now. EVERYONE is friendly. But it's more than that. First, they get you in on time. Second, they are very professional. They must keep great notes about your conversations. The doctors and technicians seem genuinely interested in you and your mouth. They take pictures of everything to track the little changes. I broke an old cap by the gum on a tooth in front of my mouth. Called Colesville Dentistry in the morning and a few hours later I was "squeezed" in to an appointment. Had Xrays taken...teeth cleaned...and and a real discussion with Dr. Eric about what comes next. I found out that every bit of fixing that space in front of my mouth will be taken care of right in their office! At check out they even gave me a discount for the day for being a first time patient! I'm a person that's not comfortable with dental work due to past bad experience and this is the first time that I've ever had a dentist that showed so much interest in making my experience pleasant. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I'm 63 and I wish I had dentists like this in my life, long ago. Just had a filling replaced today and Dr. Kevin went to great lengths to make sure the procedure was as painless as it could be. I have been to many dentists as my work took me around and outside of the US, and you truly will not find more skilled or nicer doctors than those I've encountered at Colesville Dentistry. But it doesn't stop there....each and every one of the staff is so very nice and extremely competent at what they do, responsive through emails, texts and phone and so very pleasant at each and every visit. A good example is how responsive Christina was in getting me an appointment this week and Stephanie took xrays and had everything ready to go so Dr. Kevin could replace a filling in such a way that it matched the rest of tooth so perfectly that you would never know there was any work done. Best of all, it was completely painless. I had to struggle to stay awake! If all my dentists as a kid had been this good, I would not have all the problems I have now; but, better late than never and this is one practice that no matter where I relocate upon retirement, I will definitely make an effort to come back to the area for my regular cleanings because this clinic offers world class dentistry right here in Maryland. On Friday night, I broke a tooth and was in need of a dentist that I could get in to see quickly. Google pointed me to Colesville Dentistry. A call to my insurance provider told me that they were in-network for me. The insurance company got it wrong, but this ended up being a blessing in disguise. From the moment I walked in, everyone I encountered did what they could to make me feel comfortable. even with the insurance mix-up, the staff worked with me and walked me through options to make sure that I could be seen. Keyla, the dental hygienist was fantastic. She was thorough, kind, and professional. She not only gave me a great cleaning, but also left me with instructions for going forward. Dr. Eric, was awesome. He too, was warm and gracious. After his examination, he took the time to explain everything that was going on and answer all of my questions. He developed a treatment plan and walked me through step by step. I was super nervous because 1) I don't like going to the dentist, 2) because I knew it had been too long, and 3)I had no idea how much this was going to cost me. Dr LePore said my 14 year old Daughter had to have a filling replaced, she did replace the filling, and within one week my Daughter had to have a root canal on that tooth! Very slow to return Emergency phone calls, my daughter was in excruciating pain!! And they still charged me for the appointment to confirm that she indeed needed to have a root canal!
