Nice people here. Dr, Hismeh took me right away for an emergency visit for a molar extraction…read more Hishmeh was very good, monitored my blood pressure, the machine was visible to me too. Comforting somehow. With any procedure, it helps to hear someone say, almost done, this is going well, few more minutes, you're doing well. increasingly...it's found that doc and assistants have mindless back and forth chatter. Not so here, everybody was about the patient, thank you. Receptionist walked to me, rather than me have to stand at her station. They wanted to get me a cab if I needed it, they let me leave without fiddling at the desk, attentive care, much appreciated. Nice to find this practice. Doc, assistants, reception.. A Plus Plus Plus. ***** Medical people, take note....look at the reviews people leave throughout these pages. Seems there should be more attention paid to how the customer is treated by reception staff. One reviewer wasn't told about office hours. If an office is on a busy highway with no nearby coffee shop....its Inconvenient to have to wait, there's no place to wait. Benches are at a premium, often no longer available, Offices know the lay of the land, be sure patients are informed. Asking about parking is an easy question to answer. Starts everything off wrong when an avoidable miscommunication happens. Provide incentives for office staff to get it right, get it efficient, get it polite. If somebody is waiting, come out to mention---we see you, we're running late. It's a good technique to lessen anxiety, but good for employee to move around, it's more healthful to get up from time to time.

There was another negative review by someone else about Dr. Adams and his use of the DNA appliance, and that also appears to have been removed. I hope people don't rely solely on Google reviews. According to another reviewer, her negative review was removed there and followed immediately by a stellar review. Here, again, is my review. I was oversold on the DNA appliance by Dr. Gary Adams. It cost $10K, and made no visible change -- which is what I came to him for. My back teeth are somewhat better aligned, but I never would have paid for that since I had no functional issues. He never told me that this appliance is used exclusively for people with sleep apnea and TMJ, neither of which I have. (His website at the time I sought treatment didn't indicate this either; it focused on the appliance's ability to grow bone.) I used the appliance exactly as prescribed -- I was trying to correct a slight underbite -- and it did absolutely nothing. My smile and bite look exactly like they did before. I hope this review keeps other people from making the same mistake I did.

The left photo was taken just before I started wearing it. As you can see in the right photo, my smile is much wider and less "gummy" looking. Another thing I've noticed is that my voice has gotten deeper and and my vocal range broader (I'm a singer) since wearing it...Of course I can't say for sure it's the appliance, but I've heard of similar results in other people. Dr. Gary Adams as well as the rest of the staff have been amazing to work with as well! Would highly recommend them :)

Adding an important update to my 5 star review:…read more This is entirely my fault but I wanted to mention it in case it helps someone else. There was an adjustment on my insurance and I owed more money, and was sent two bills via post office. I, a millennial, am horrible at checking snail mail and therefore did not notice. Once I received a debt collection letter, I decided to call the office to confirm it was a real bill. I was told about the two snail mail bills, and was told they don't call or email (which would have been nice for me). The ladies I spoke to were helpful and polite as I've always experienced with this office. It was an extra few hundred with the debt collection fees which I could have avoided. If you have any insurance related surgery, always check your SNAIL MAIL!

My records had already been faxed over and Dr. T reviewed my records ahead of my visit. Because my xrays were about 10 months old, they performed a new xray during my consultation. What stands out about this office is how thorough they all are - Dr. T talked me through the entire process and reviewed the risks involved with the extractions. His medical assistant/tech also talked me through the entire process again to ensure I had a clear understanding. I provided my insurance information ahead of the consultation (over the phone while scheduling and again within the new patient forms that I completed online). They verified my insurance and calculated the out of pocket costs for me which I paid during the visit. They were upfront and very transparent about the costs during the visit, and informed me that I should expect to receive a small bill post-visit. I paid a pre-surgical deposit that went towards the balance for the procedure. I was offered an appointment for the extractions as early as the following week, however I opted to schedule a month and a half later due to prior commitments. Ahead of my extractions, they sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy so I was able to pick them up before the procedure. I also received a couple of reminders for the visit. The extractions and healing went well. The care instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. The staff (front desk and clinical) are all very kind and welcoming, and I appreciated how patient they were as I was anxious about the procedure. The office is clean, modern looking and easy to find. Overall, I had a great experience at this practice!

This is a dentist with heart, I recommend her highly! Pleasant staff and nice office. It's great to sit in the chat and have a view of the outdoors.

THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT YOUR SCAN FROM OTHER CLINICS. THEY SAY THEY DO, BUT THEY WON'T. Even…read moreif it means exposing you to another X-ray within a short period. My experience with this clinic made me seriously question the integrity of some medical providers. I grew up in a family full of medical providers, so I've always had a lot of respect for them. But being told they "can't read" my scan files and that I needed to pay $450 for another CBCT scan was shocking. I had already taken the scan at another oral surgery clinic that turned out to be out-of-network. That's why I looked for an in-network doctor and ended up here. Before my first appointment, they asked me to bring the scan files. I even asked if there was a specific format they needed because I work with image files and know compatibility can matter. They brushed it off and told me to just bring them. I arrived with the USB and waited almost an hour, only to be told they couldn't read files from USB and needed them on a CD. Sorry, but are we in 2005? They "kindly" offered to take a new scan for $250. I had taken the scan only a week earlier, so I refused. I had to reschedule and even bought a CD burner on Amazon because the original clinic didn't have one. Before my second appointment, I called again to ask about file formats and told them the other clinic had also emailed the files. I even asked if they could call the other clinic since both clinics use the same medical imaging software, which I found very odd. THEY NEVER CALLED THE OTHER CLINIC AND APPARENTLY NEVER CHECKED THE EMAIL. They just kept saying it should work if it's on a CD. So I returned with the CD. After all that effort, they STILL said they couldn't read the files. And now the price for a new scan was suddenly $450. When I got home, I downloaded a free medical imaging viewer and opened the files immediately with no issue. Yes, I -- someone with no experience opening this type of medical imaging format -- was able to open them. I ended up booking another oral surgeon down the street who simply allowed me to upload my existing scans. I still can't understand why this clinic handled things this way. It felt like they cared more about charging for another scan than actually helping patients. Also, thanks for delaying my treatment for weeks and for trying to make me take another X-ray only a few weeks after the first one.

The office is clean, updated, and comfortable, with a spacious waiting room. I was able to make an appointment for a cleaning (my first visit)only about a week and a half in advance, which was awesome. Dr. Borchers took me on time and did a very thorough, gentle job and explained what he was doing in more detail than I've ever heard before, which was really interesting and conveyed the depth of both his knowledge of and real interest in dentistry. He found 2 cavities (that's what I get for avoiding the dentist for so long) and showed me on the x-ray how he spotted them, what was causing them, and how he could tell which was more urgent. All that, and I was still out in just over an hour. Important to note, they only take cash or check, so come prepared, and they don't take insurance but will give you the paperwork that will allow you to report it on your own so you still get the deductions from your insurance company.
