Dr. Keith is truly a top-notch dentist! I was in desperate need of repair when I went to see him this past July, after having gone to my regular dentist in June for my check-up; I was told my teeth were in "phenomenal shape", not long after that visit I suffered a very painful toothache; my regular dentist couldn't fit me in for 2-3 weeks!!! Dr. Keith got me in right away and made sure I received the proper care I needed. I trusted him from that point on. His staff is really friendly and so helpful. I recommend Dr. Keith to ANYONE looking for an excellent dentist, he's about making sure your mouth is healthy, because it really does effect your physical health! At my follow-up visit Dr. Keith and I discussed a treatment plan, since July he has replaced all of my old silver fillings, which were about 43 years old and some other "dental work" that a really bad dentist had done in the past, and had subsequently been causing other ailments. In the quest for a new dental office I decided to check this one out despite it being just a little further than I desire. The woman who works the front desk was very kind and warm. The morning I went there were a number of more senior citizens there for dental care and it appears they really take care of their more senior clients. Once back in the room I waited quite a bit for the dentist to come. Before that the dental hygienist took X-rays which was quite the task to put it gently. The X-ray experience was probably the initial deterrent. Also, I thought I booked an initial cleaning which I thought was typical for a first appointment, but apparently I did not. The first appointment consisted entirely of X-rays and then a review and evaluation of the X-rays. I don't know if I'm a personal fan of the bedside manner for the dentist, but that's a subjective standard rather than objective. From start to finish, this was an amazing experience! I was in so much pain physically and emotionally lol from a tooth that desperately needed to be filled in. I'm so happy this whole experience was one of offering the best solution because dentists can use pain as exploitation. Not here! Top notch DDS and a great team. My former DDS retired and I'm in the process of being in braces and needed some serious restoration that meant crowns. Dr. Keith and his office had great reviews and had worked with my Orthodontist. My case is far from being easy and I'm appreciative of the time and effort put in by Dr Keith. He was thoughtful in developing a plan, communicated with me over the phone and in person, while working with other providers to get me where I currently am. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dana Keith and his staff. They are very accommodating with my schedule, kind and concerned with my issues. They are great at follow-up. Dr. Keith takes measures to makes me comfortable when I get anxious over dental work. (I'm not afraid of much but going to the dentist is my phobia.) He is very thorough and proactive about seeing what issues are there and explains everything that needs to be done. He presents choices and nothing has been unnecessary. I especially like that he works in "quadrants" so I can make less visits to the office. My teeth have had issues for years and my mouth has never felt 100%. Dr. Keith consistantly churns for business, he wanted to replace my fillings which were giving me no issues, when i asked to see the xrays , they showed no decay but he said i know there is decay , false, unproven. He then said he wanted to study my bite and made upper and lower impressions and charged me $450. When i asked three months later what his evaluation was, he said that he was still studying them. On another visit, he yelled at the hygienist and made her cry. This guy is evil. Stay away, he is untrustworthy. read more

Dr. Keith is the best dentist I have ever worked with. The guy is a miracle worker and legit fixed my jaw so I didn't clench my teeth while I slept. This fixed a ton of neck and jaw issues I was having. Aside from that huge win, they are all around great folks who always take care of their clients. I am so glad I found Dr. Dana Keith. He is both a regular Dentist and a Cosmetic Dentist. So he not only fixes your teeth but he wants his work to look good. He did my Invisalign orthodontic work. He not only straightened my teeth, but made sure I had a beautiful smile through bonding and teeth whitening. I have seen the same work where the dentist just straightened the teeth and that's it. He makes sure that his work is pristine and complete. He also has a great personality and bedside manner. He and his staff are friendly and listen to their patients. They are also sensitive to their patients. My 8 year old son is comfortable there and so is my husband who fears the dentist. I often fall asleep in the dental chair while he is working on me. For years, I smiled with my mouth closed, thinking I'd never be confident flashing my pearly whites again. I had a bridge since I was 14 and by 37, I needed a replacement. Dr. Keith was extremely professional with a gentle chair-side manner when I met with him to discuss options. He was quick to provide a referral and get me in to see additional specialists. Do NOT let their niceness fool you. Extremely courteous on the phone and in person, but this is all a facade. I had an appointment for an invisilign fitting on Feb. 19th. I gave them an upfront fee of 485$. This was a terrible mistake since I never received a phone call from anyone after the initial visit. I waited TWO months and called. I was told I would receive a call back the very next day. It is now 2 and a half months later and I haven't gotten a call, email, or txt with ANY kind of information. Dr. Keith is a fantastic dentist! I have seen him for help with general dentistry stuff (cleanings, fillings, etc.) and also cosmetic work (whitening, veneers, minor gum surgery, etc.) and he handles all of it with expertise. His office staff (Indrian and Erica) are fun, welcoming, and helpful. His hygienists and assistants (I've worked with Liz, Gail, and Maria) do great work. I never have to wait too long to get an appointment and Dr. Keith is almost always running on time (I never wait for more than five minutes). I had been going to a dentist suited for younger kids my whole life, and while it was nice to get to watch Disney Channel while getting my teeth cleaned and get to choose a sticker from a prize box afterwards, I felt that a change of dentists was well overdue. My parents both went to Dr. Keith and have been ever since I can remember. They transferred me over to their office and immediately I felt like I belonged there. Everyone that I met was so kind, all of the dental staff was welcoming and made me feel comfortable, and the dentists all know exactly what they're doing. Going back is something I almost look forward to, because I get the cleanest teeth and the nicest service. It'll be a truly sad day when I move and have to change dentists. Finding a new dentist is a daunting task for me. I suffer from a condition that causes extreme pain on the right side of my face so any dental work is frightening for me. I needed some dental work done and i made an appointment to see Dr. Keith. His staff was very friendly and put me at ease right away. Dr. Keith is a wonderful dentist. Be careful with Dana. It's all smiles and pleasantries as long as you comply with his 'expert' advice, including referrals of his choice. He referred me to his friend - a root canal specialist - who wanted $1800 for the procedure. I found the quoted price a bit outrageous, so i had the procedure done by another dentist who charged one third of the cost. Dana was visibly upset I didn't choose his buddy. He readily bashed my dentist without even knowing the guy. And I know my dentist was voted best dentist in NYC. On another note, Dana is gung-ho about root canals and crowns even for simple amalgam fillings. Had he had his way, i would have more crowns in my mouth than England's throne has had in the last couple of centuries. Patients beware! Dr. Keith has only been my dentist for a few months, but overall I have been extremely pleased with him and his practice. I was going to lose my insurance within a month when I first called his office, and I was able to get an appointment within a week. After finding out that I needed a few fillings, I was able to get those taken care of within my insurance time frame as well as get a sleeping mouth guard. I was provided options for care along with advise on how those options would work with my insurance. All work was done with great care and skill. Dr. Keith is very personable and cares about his patients. The Dental Hygienist was also very good and had good tips for care between cleaning without being condescending. The focus of his practice seems to be dental health; I never felt pushed into any unnecessary cosmetic work. I have been seeing Dr. Keith for several years now. I grind my teeth so I am always having problems with broken crowns and cracks in my teeth. Other dentists have charged me thousands. In comparison his rates are reasonable and the service is excellent. He was the first dentist to make a full night guard for me and I go regularly for follow-up adjustments. I have not had a single cracked tooth or crown since I started visiting his office. I am delighted. The front office staff are also extremely helpful. I met Dr. Keith as a dental emergency. My former dentist had partially dislocated my jaw during a root canal, an I could not even open my mouth wide enough to get a tooth brush in my mouth. Ever since then, he has been diligently working with me to achieve and maintain optimal dental health. I would be lost without Dr. Keith and his wonderful staff. Being cursed with weak teeth, I have unfortunately had the painful experience of waking up with throbbing dental abcesses requiring emergency root canals. He has always accomodated me, never leaving me in pain to wait another day for an appointment. He is also an expert at maintaining dental night guards, protecting my teeth from my chronic grinding and clenching. Both of the dental hygenists are wonderful. This is what I wrote to Dr. Keith's office in a letter, "On 9/25 I came in to have one filling, and that is all that was discussed with me. On the bill it appears that three teeth were worked on." Of course it was clear to me when I was no longer numb that he had done 9 fillings, 8 without my knowledge. I have contacted his office, my insurance company and will occasionally take the time to post this message as a warning to other patients. He responded to my letter claiming that he had discussed it with me, just a fabrication. I would NOT have agreed to have him grind enamel off my front teeth and then put in fillings. Dr Keith is meticulous, his hygienist, Liz is the best I have had and the front office staff Erica and Lisa have been wonderful. I have dental insurance and Erica and Lisa have had struggles getting claims paid, I used to bill health insurance and know how time consuming insurance claims processing can be.
