I lived in DC and had terrible experiences with three different DC dentists, including one offering to give me botox during my cleaning. Um what? This resulted in me avoiding dentists at all costs. My parents see Dr. Perkins and thanks to my love for all things sugar and soda I eventually ended up in the chairs of both Dr. B and Dr. G over the last (ehhh) six years or so. Most recently...my visit wasn't by choice. A filling or something or another fell out as I was happily crunching on tortilla chips when bam I needed my first root canal. Dr. George worked me in and dealt with the situation way better than I could have imagined. I went to the root canal specialist then back to him and oddly it wasn't the terrible experience I was anticipating. Kind of weird but also kind of refreshing.
