I need to make sure you hear me when I say she's honest, She won't be shady about your dental exam, revealing something wild like 11 cavities. Yes, true story, this actually happened to me. However, when I saw Dr. Chang, she could not find these 11 cavities :-) She commended me on my dental hygiene, and sent me on my way. These qualities are so hard to find in one dentist, and I honestly saw a string of not-so-great dentists before seeing her. This makes me appreciate her even more! I am a nurse and a soon-to-be dietitian, so I'm very selective about the healthcare providers I see. And I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Chang!

During one of my follow-up visits for my procedure, Dr. Mazza asked whether I had Yelp and other…read morereview platforms and encouraged me to leave a review about my experience. While I was lying in the dental chair, I unlocked my phone then doctor took my phone and offered to help me because I was about to have the procedure on my teeth. Although he presented it as assistance, I felt uncomfortable and pressured to comply. He posted reviews without my consent. He spent several minutes using my phone to post reviews about his practice on multiple platforms. In my opinion, patients should never be asked to write reviews while the provider is standing over them, and a provider should never take control of a patient's personal device to post reviews on the patient's behalf. I also referred a friend to the practice. She later told me that while she was undergoing a procedure, reviews were posted from her accounts without her knowledge. Phone was used without her consent, My experience left me feeling that my privacy and autonomy were not respected. Patients should be free to decide whether and when to leave reviews, without pressure or anyone else using their personal devices.

The office manager Brenda is the heart and soul of this place she knows everyone by first name and keeps track of what you need and when. One day she was not there and I just felt like I had to ask if she was OK - it was just strange not seeing her :) The rest of the staff is just as great - they are attentive and always genuinely happy to see you and most of all they do a great job too. Now Dr. Greenbaum himself really makes sure you understand everything he is doing, he has this calm (almost fatherly) way of explaining what you need and what is going on - you just have to trust him!
