I have dined there alone, or with other people and they are very consistent in what they do, how they make their food, to keeping the restaurant nice and clean. Not to mention we also order food from them. They are quick, fast and productive. Very friendly, nice, customer service!! I wish more people were like them!! I think one of the men's name is Peter, if I am not mistaken. He is so sharp, gets your order right, doesn't rush you and knows what he is doing to make your dining experience an enjoyable one. Whether it is indoor dining or to go order. All their dishes are clean, and delicious. It is a very cozy, quaint, whole in the wall family owned business. I've been dining here since I was a toddler, and I have to say- the food quality has never wavered and the service has always been hyper-polite and attentive. This restaurant has been a staple of my life living in Los Angeles and I can't think of a better hole-in-the-wall restaurant that I would or could recommend more highly. First time having Rice Wok. I picked up around 6pm on Sunday night and found plenty of parking. All the food was amazing. Orange fish and Volcano Shrimp were very good. The egg rolls were perfectly fried. I will definitely be back. I will add pics of everything. Total was around $65. read more

Randomly stumbled upon this place a few years ago. It's definitely your typical hole in the wall/mom and pop restaurant. I've never eaten inside the restaurant, I usually order delivery (free delivery) or pickup. The staff is always polite and welcoming, offering me complimentary Thai Tea (taste delicious). I love a great deal, but the staff is always so kind and welcoming and their menu is solid. The lunch special wait can get long, so don't overlook their other great deals or a very reasonable direct delivery service. My fave is the sesame chicken (like Panda Express orange chicken but with broccoli...yum). The hot and sour soup is easily my top choice of anyone else's cups or bowls in town. My favorite item is their fried dumplings and every time I am back in LA (I have since moved to Vegas) I always order 3 orders of the dumplings to have in my hotel room. Sadly, I ordered them yesterday (I was SOOO looking forward to them) and, when I opened the package they were clearly different. Smaller, different flavor and texture and, they were too perfect in shape - clearly they were pre-made (I really thought they were from Costco). The flavor was bland, and I was so disappointed. Pretty solid! Especially for the price. I ordered takeout so textures are always gonna suffer a bit. But I got orange chicken and the black bean fish. Both great, especially the fish. Also, they include a smaller box of white rice with the order which I so appreciate. I didn't realize tho and ordered a side of rice and they gave me straight up an entire like tri-sectional to-go box packed with rice! Which I'm not complaining.. Anyway. Good stuff.
