Rice Tire in Verona: most expensive oil change ever. I went in for a simple oil change, when my truck was done, I went to drive it and it ran horrible. I told them and they looked at it and said I probably had a bad cylinder. It was running perfect when I dropped it off. Came to find out, they had broken a spark plug wire while replacing the oil cap...I had to replace the whole set at $144 that plus the oil change was outrageous. I emailed them and never got a response. None of our many vehicles will EVER darken Rice Tires again. They could have at least offered to pay for the repairs for the damage they did! read more

These guys were recommended by our RV dealer (Leo's RV) and I'm glad they were. From the first phone call to the final bill, they were nothing but spectacular. We had a rear RV tire issue and once they figured out what it was, they explained the issue and how they were going to fix it. They were professional and super nice. Had noticed a couple of negative reviews and wanted to express my personal experience and raise their average (since they only had 4 reviews before mine). Was just here this morning as this is near my office. The low tire pressure had been a problem since before I left for Arizona for Christmas. When I got back, it was a worse problem before New Years, where it was not keeping air at all. A lot of places were closed or super busy around New Years. The problem tire down to 18-20 psi. They checked and determine there was a leak in the side wall. Got 2 tires since they were all low, but the front ones were worse. They were really fast. I was prepared to walk up the hill to my office on the top of Commerce Drive with temperatures in the 10's with wind chill around 0, but thankfully, I didn't need to. I was just a little late to office. They were very friendly too. The guy who was the cashier joked this his wife got the same tires, and she hasn't complain. I joked back saying that your wife normally does complain. Overall, I highly recommend Rice. I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes on this day after New Year's Day read more

Rice provided road service to my RV today. I had a flat tire. The road service truck arrived within the promised time. The technician was expert and friendly. (He was friendly despite the cold and windy day). A new tire was installed quickly. My planned trip is back on schedule! I will consider Rice the next time I need service on my RV. Excellent customer service! Came for nail in tire and switch to spare because I was scared to drive on expressway to Goodyear. They brought my car right in and did a quick tire check and removed the nail ( it did not puncture the tire) at no charge. If I need tires in the future will definitely come here as opposed to other brand name tire stores. read more

Never again, I own a mobile fleet service, and have always used rice and referred all my customers ! Never had a problem until today told them I had a tired that hopped a curb, and that the rim needed sealed or hammered out. 2 hours later they bring me my tires back didn't even bother to tell me they couldn't fix it. I got all the way back to my job site and noticed it was still a bad rim. When I called them to see if I could meet the tire truck or run it back to the shop the answer I got was $170 with a three hour minimum or wait til Monday. The manager refused to call and speak with me, instead relayed everything through the on call guy. read more

Monday 11/6 they forgot to tighten the lug nuts after installing two tires. I finally received new rim, studs, and lug nuts on Friday 11/10. I wouldn't be writing this if that's where the story ends. Tonight, 11/14, the brake line on that tire shredded and if it weren't for me towing my trailer with electric brakes I might be in an accident. Mistakes, albeit two in a row happen, and the president of the company called and made certain my vehicle is repaired and apologized. All of the staff remained professional and were very sorry it happened. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Guy behind the counter didn't even acknowledge my existence until I asked, "how are you doing?" He just looked at me and waited for my to say what I needed. I said, " I'm here to get a new tire for my car." He just said in a very dead and emotionless manner, "two hour wait." And slowly turn his head and attention back to the computer. I'm sorry but that's not how you treat people especially New paying customers who genuinely need help. I would've just dropped my car off and waited if I would of been treated like a human being. He should absolutely no care and made me question how the guy even had a job. The facility looked nice inside, but it's a shame I couldn't give them my business. I would've suggested them to my parents. I guess they really don't need it anyway from regular people like me. Yes I realize my bio says California. I moved here to Halethorpe. I have been using Rice tires in Halthorpe for about 6 months I run a very busy Mobile grooming truck I have spent close to 3,000 dollar's on my truck in the last 6 month's I've had to take off work at least 6 times for repairs on my truck just to take it back and tell them what's wrong with my truck I've taken off 3 days in the last 3 week's alone for my breaks they say it's fixed no sooner do I leave my breaks start quelling they say oh we fixed the problem no worries. Just to have me return to there shop to have them repair them once again! I've spent over $800.00 dollars on this problem and they are still not fixed very disappointed!! read more

I've always gotten great service. I have two trucks I bring in there and two trailers. Other shops didn't have tires in stock for them but Rice did, and was half the price of others on the trailer tires. I've had wheels that kept loosing air, they cleaned up the rims and no more air loss. I recommend them to anyone I know who needs commercial or specialty tires. read more
