I was genuinely excited to try this place, which made the experience even more disappointing. I drove 20 minutes and spent over $40 on my order, only to end up throwing the main dish in the trash.
I ordered the Pad Thai, brown rice, crispy rolls, and paid extra for peanut sauce. When I arrived, I was the only customer in the entire restaurant. In hindsight, that probably should have been my first warning.
The crispy rolls were good, but the Pad Thai was absolutely awful. It was an unusual reddish color and tasted like fish food flakes. I've had Pad Thai many, many times, and this was so bad I simply couldn't eat it. After driving 20 minutes to pick up my food, throwing away an entire entrée was beyond upsetting.
Then there was the peanut sauce. I specifically paid extra for it. As I was walking out, I actually stopped and asked the employee if she remembered my peanut sauce. I was assured it was in the bag. I got home, and it wasn't.
So after a 20 minute drive and spending over $40, I ended up with crispy rolls, brown rice, no peanut sauce that I PAID EXTRA FOR, and a Pad Thai that went straight into the garbage.
That is an incredibly frustrating way to spend over $40 and almost an hour of driving. I really wanted to like this place, but this experience was unacceptable. I definitely won't be making that drive or spending my money here again.
