Great food, incredible service! Some might consider it a little pricey but they do serve Large portions. One order would have been fine for my wife and I to share. The Only issue I have is there is what I consider a small, limited menu. Very few appetizers; No fresh spring rolls. No lab salad and very limited soup menu options. But what they do have outstanding traditional Thai food and a gorgeous dinning room and great service. read more

This is by far the best Thai food I have ever had in Billings. It is pricier than other places but it is well worth it as they give you a ton of food and the food is excellent. We ordered two entrees and had leftovers for days, which were delicious. Our server was so kind. It was snowing and they asked if we wanted to stay in the restaurant until our car warmed up. I thought that was really kind of them to ask. We will certainly be back! read more

Over-priced!!! $28 for 1-serving dish, Spicy Eggplant Tofu. Delicious, but it's not a hotel restaurant or any luxurious one. I saw a group of a party left because of the price, and I actually wanted to do so. Darn, I didn't have a time to search around. To the restaurant owner, don't do this please! read more

Lemongrass Thai Restaurant - Spicy Eggplant Tofu at $28 - Thai Near Me - Billings, Montana

The good. The bad. The ugly. It's good to see an independly owned restaurant that has pretty decor and lots of ample parking. Service was kind, swift, and even apologetic at times when they didn't need to. I ordered the green curry. I love canned bamboo (I also loved canned Asian mushrooms). However the pork was cut a little thick so some parts were a little dry. Maybe it could have benefitted from some velveting. The curry itself was okay... Missing a tad bit of spice but idk, I guess the demo has some influence on that. But... The ugly. This plate was $30... I don't care about price, I care about paying $30 for Thai food that has frozen peas and carrots. That hurts my soul. I can't bring myself to give them less than 4 stars but I feel offended from this. Anyway, I hope that changes because they work hard and deserve a successful business. read more

My mom was raving about this place so I went with her. I had tried to come here many times before, but they always are closed. The food was good, but I was literally shocked by the prices! I believe the lunch Shrimp Pad Thai was well over $30! I understand inflation, but this was absolutely ridiculous prices and the food wasn't better than the other Thai places in Billings. read more

So good! We got drunken noodles and pad Thai. Huge portions! We got 3 meals out of them. Was worried the drunken noodles would be too spicy but they were perfect. Would get spicier pad Thai next time, but we were playing it safe. Staff was very friendly and facility clean. read more

This has been our go-to Thai restaurant for years and we don't live in Billings. We travel for hours to enjoy this amazing, fresh food. Ying and her mom do an incredible job making us feel like family. The portions are always enough for a meal the next day. We love this place. read more

We were in town for a family reunion & needed a LOT of food -- those of us who LOVE Thai food were excited to find Lemongrass & the others agreed to try it. :). (We did takeout) We had Pad Thai, EVERY curry dish they offer :P, & Drunken noodles. Everything was TASTY & a treat for my tongue. Even the ones who had never tried Thai found at least one thing they liked! There was VERY LITTLE left (& we ordered a LOT). The Thai tea was PERFECT -- STRONG & DELICIOUS! A SOLID choice for your next meal! read more

The most authentic Thai food in Billings. Large quantities and fairly priced. Very warm & friendly service. Consistent quality from visit to visit. Been going for years. read more

I downloaded yelp just to review this place! This is THE BEST THAI restaurant we've ever been to (worth every penny). That's saying a lot as we've eaten at some of the best Thai restaurants throughout the US and have been to Thailand! The flavor of spices and quality of fresh ingredients here are unmatched. Not to mention the welcoming, relaxed and pleasant ambiance. We were greatly surprised and highly recommend anyone to try this place! I got the yellow curry dish, my boyfriend had the pineapple shrimp curry and we both had a Thai tea. AMAZING is an understatement!!!! These two dishes are a must try as well as the Thai tea!! This is also a family owned restaurant! The Mother and daughter running this place are lovely and you can tell they care greatly about what they serve. Their family recipes are in a league of their own! Wish I took a picture of our dishes! read more

This plant based eating girl is happy!! So excited to be able to stop in here on our way through! This place always impresses me with their flavors of freshness. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and you can really taste the difference. I just tried their Tom Kha for the first time and wow!! So yummy! And I of course ordered a Pad Thai because I don't know if anywhere else that makes a Vegan Pad Thai and can make it as good as this! read more

I'm gonna be straight on this one! Fantastic food, great service and worth every penny you pay for it. I admit it isn't the cheapest restaurant in town for this type of food, but food costs have increased and I can't fault a restaurant for passing that on to the customer. They still maintain the same quality and quantity of food as in previous years. Everything that comes out of this kitchen is nothing short of amazing! Ingredients are fresh, spices blended to perfection and the service is just as stellar. (Very friendly and accommodating) The place has a nice atmosphere for dining in. Though it is a big boxy room, it is broken up with various items and tables are arranged so as to still afford some privacy at each table. I recommend this place to everyone who asks me. This establishment is worth every hard earned dollar you spend there. Well done Lemongrass Thai!! Stop in for authentic food in a relaxing atmosphere! read more

Fabulous food, immaculate restaurant, and really special people! Locally owned too! Love their pineapple fried rice, and of course the ginger tea. read more

My vote for the best Thai food in Montana. We've tried places all over & mostly been disappointed. We have never been disappointed with Lemongrass. The service is constantly super friendly and accommodating. The food has always been delicious! Our favorites are the Pad Thai, Red Curry, Pad Kee Mao, and Pad Him Ma Parn (cashew chicken). The Thai Spring Rolls and Thai Iced Teas round out the meal perfectly. It's not inexpensive but we always get at least two meals out of each dish so it works out great! Thank you, Lemongrass Thai! read more

Possibly the best thai I have ever had. I got the garlic vegetables mild with tofu. The tofu was delicious and sliced very thin. The spice was a little hot but quite perfect for the dish. The flavors here are simply amazing the shoots and peas and carrots and other veges were excellently cooked. The garlic was strong but not overwhelming. If you are vegetarian this dish is spectacular. read more

We tried this place one day out of curiosity and we were really impressed. They give amazingly large portions. The meat portion is actually really great and packed in all the food they provide, which is really the best. The taste....is FABULOUS. There is truly a difference between each dish. They have great flavor and it is very obvious they take pride in what they cook and send out. Honestly, I will always go here for all my Thai food. read more

We were planning to dine at Lemongrass this evening, so we arrived at 5:30, there were two tables seated. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait, because they just took a $200. phone order. Could we wait30 minutes? Nope, we decided to head 6 blocks away to the Thai Orchid & had the best yellow curry shrimp dish! Sorry Lemongrass you lost us to a more courteous, better Thai restaurant! Thank you!! read more

The food and service here is fantastic. Our food was delivered to the table quickly, hot and soooo delicious. The waitress was very attentive and wanted to make sure we had all we needed. This place has amazing Thai food! The food is flavorful, fresh and authentic. I love Thai Beef Salad and pineapple Shrimp curry, Pad See Ew and fried rice. They handed me a menu where just about every dish averaged around $30. Absolutely no freaking way I'm gunna pay $30 for a regular portion of Pad Thai. I've paid less in New York this year! What are they thinking? I went down the street to Siam Thai Food. read more

Ordered pad thai $24... it was fully drenched in sauce and tasted extremely sweet! I have never paid so much for a serving of pad thai, even when eating at nicer and better thai restaurants in the big cities. It was a 30 minute wait for a to go order, and even when we got there we still had to wait because it was not ready. Not satisfied at all with the price and quality of a simple dish, and I'm glad I didn't end up ordering more. Such a bummer! read more

Amazing! Every time we have family in town, we order out from Lemon Grass. One of our favorites and absolutely delicious every time!

The service here is always impeccable The food choices are amazing, we have eaten in store and take out and never had anything but delicious and fresh food. Really good delicious food. Portions are meant to be shared. So a little pricer, because of that, but worth every penny. What a gem.

Excellent family owned Thai spot not to be missed. This mother daughter duo serves up fresh and authentic Thai dishes in a clean, welcoming, and covid safe atmosphere. The Tom Yum is some of the best I've ever had, the pad Thai is amazing - for apps try the wontons ... you can't screw it up!
