It doesn't seem to be a place that encourages lingering, striking me as being more of a fast casual The Pad Thai was good; the pot stickers hot and tasty. Order at the counter from the large digital/screen menus, choose your proteins -- generally one or two -- take a seat and they bring it to your table -- at least when it's not so busy. Because can choose a heat level to suit your taste (or lack of taste after trying the highest level) there is something for everyone. There was a steady stream of take-out orders happening so take that for what it's worth -- likely a positive. For me, it was good, a nice alternative, but perhaps not a first or last choice when the cravings come around.

I would give a pass however because it was full. As for the food the duck curry I had with extra veggies was VERY good! Lots of duck breast meat and very fresh veggies. I would highly recommend it and would go back for sure if in the area again.

This is a small but cute family run restaurant in downtown Billings. They offered table service and a mix of Thai and Chinese cuisine. All ingredients were so fresh and delicious. If you're Asia raised you will get what I am talking about ... rice should not come in the plate soaking wet with orange sauce from chicken and egg soup was very salty comes with vegetables probably same one as those come in fried rice. (Can taste one of those from bag of frozen vegetable) Fried rice isn't made right as well. Sorry but worst orange chicken I've ever had. Sauce is very light almost like soup. There are plenty of tables, but no bar or patio dining options. The walls have some Thai decor, but the interior is fairly sparse and spacious The menu offers a variety of Thai classics. You can find all your noodle dishes, rice, curry's, typical appetizers, etc. they have Thai tea and a variety of drink options, but no coffee or alcohol options I tried their red curry, and it was tasty. I was a little surprised they didn't ask for a heat/spicy level, but it was still solid, but I would have liked more rice. The fried potstickers were tasty as well, but I would have preferred them to have not been fried The service was relatively quick. I did have to keep asking for a top off on water. Also, my appetizer plates weren't based prior to getting my main entree, so, they just sat awkwardly on the table for the remainder of the mean. It wasn't busy, and there was only one server... and I was the only patron over the 45+ minutes I was there. This also made the ambiance feel sort of sad and empty Some tips: Again, you can miss this spot if you're just walking by. Also, when you walk in there is a sign that says "wait to be seated," but I was the only one there except the server/hostess who was sitting literally 25 yards all the way in the back. It's like the hot stand, but it's in the back. It's a little strange As with all downtown Billings restaurants, parking isn't plentiful. In the world of fast casual places, with style-your-own options, Teriyaki Madness, a franchise…read morerestaurant, brings a different food genre. Specializing in bowls made with protein and a carb and veggies, the primary protein is chicken, but they also have salmon, steak, and tofu. Choose that, and then your base of rice or noodles. This set up is common in similar places, but as the name suggests, the flavors here are Asian inspired. Most items are gluten free, and bowls can be made vegan. Although the online menu indicates the sauces are msg-free, I'm not entirely sure of that, but I'd have to try again to be sure. I've only stopped a couple of times, but the service has been quick and friendly, although in the opening phase, with the crowds of people and employees crammed into the kitchen, it's sometimes hard to hear your order called. Teriyaki Madness is a cute place with very limited seating, striking me more as a take-out place, on the side of a shopping center building and not easily visible from the main drive through Shiloh Commons. Navigating to it is tricky. There isn't much available parking immediately in front, but if you're willing to walk a short distance, plenty available nearby. If burgers, burritos, or black bean bowls are not calling your name that day, Teriyaki Madness is a good break.

Finally, I asked about the online order I was there to pick up. The response? "I know, it takes time to make food." Totally fair... except how would you know the name on my order if not a single employee acknowledged my existence? Silly me -- I didn't realize you were all mind readers. Hard to tell, given the general lack of ducks in any recognizable row. Then a very nice couple walked in after me, only to be loudly informed by the bowl-assembler that they were out of literally everything and should go somewhere else. Not "sorry," not "we're short tonight," just... yelled at. Bold customer service strategy. I really hope things turn around, because I've been seeing a lot of complaints about the night staff lately, and this definitely tracked. Until we hear otherwise, we won't be back -- especially since apologies don't seem to be on the menu. You definitely nailed the Madness part.
