Haven't ordered here in about 10 years and honestly the only thing that has changed is the price, like everything else these days. The food was fresh and the recipes stayed consistent within these years! They're lots of Mediterranean spots on the beach but this is the best one! I enjoy the Greek salad because everything is hand diced to bite size pieces. Even the feta is juicy and a little goes a long way the way they mince it. The dressing omg the best! Lemon with herbs and oil. (Not sure if they still use olive oil, but it's still delicious. The sumac sauce is a little confusing since sumac is red but the sauce is yellow. I call it garlic sauce because that's what it tastes like. It's amazing by the way! Whoever is in the kitchen cooks with love and it shows. Overall if you want fresh tasty homemade food i recommend this place. I ordered the platter of basmati rice, amazing grilled to perfection Sirloin Kubideh (Kafta) with salad and scoop of hummus. Came here for lunch. Lots of seating inside and some outside. Walk up counter to order and you can see the ingredients through the glass like a chipotle. I got the chicken joojeh platter, it was fresh and they gave a generous portion with a little bit of everything -- salad, rice, and hummus with pita! Very delicious food and great concept. read more

I literally crave Rice from time to time. It's my go to spot on the beach for years. They have private free parking and the food is delicious. I always go for the chicken joojeh platter. It is a bowl of basmati rice, hummus, greek yogurt sumac, honey nut feta, braised beef, a wide choice of topppings like chick peas, red cabbage, feta cheese, cucumber, pickled banana pepper, tomato, olive, shredded carrots, onions, and avocado. While in Miami, my husband and I got a takeout order from Rice Mediterranean. Taste was not great. It was through Doordash so didn't get to visit the restaurant but the taste wasn't great. Its definitely not considered authentic or anything. quality of the food was not great. I would not recommend it to anyone. Also too expensive for what you get! read more

I was just there around 8:00pm yesterday for my pickup order. I paid over $35 for one take out bowl when it was supposed to be a buy one get one free bowl-see picture below. The man behind the counter said they could only give me one because his manager on the phone, who I never heard, said so, or I could pay more to get the other bowl. He made it seem like it was my problem for placing the order, and the I could take it up with UberEats. I have posted very few reviews in my lifetime. However, I had a similar experience with another restaurant in the area. The other restaurant would actually not give me the food I paid for. So I had to spend time contacting the right person in UberEats who was able to professionally handle the situation. The service some of these restaurants show is below acceptable. Managers are not at the store, present staff are unequipped to place and fix orders, and they act as they are doing you a favor. Next time I will go where I know I can find good service. read more

I used to order Rice all the time and it's been quite a while but I finally ordered again recently. I ordered the falafel platter and a hummus appetizer that comes with pita bread. The hummus was tasty and fresh. The platter comes with 6 falafels, rice, greek salad, and a small pita bread. The meal was delicious and fresh. A great portion. The highlight is their sumac sauce. You drizzle it on the food and it just makes it taste so great! A note to be mindful that the prices are a lot better to order with them directly vs third party delivery. Wow, I've been coming here for a very long time...as this place used to be my lunch grab and go when Gold's Gym was right next door. That is a very long time ago. Since then, they've recently remodeled the entire place last year sometime and it's much brighter and welcoming; the seating is somewhat the same however. There's parking in the front, side street and behind the building in a private parking lot. 4/5 Chicken Rice $12.99 comes with chunks of grilled chicken on a bed or rice. They serve it with a yellow creamy sauce that's mild but so good when you drizzle it over the rice and chicken. You'll be wanting for a couple more of these sauces since 2 certainly isn't enough. Value for what you get is fair; for 13 bucks and around 6oz of grilled chicken, it certainly is a great value but after eating this plate, your body will love you. 5/5 Hummus $5.99 is served with some baked thin bread and it's a great combo. I love rice! This is the perfect spot for a good quick and delicious lunch. All of their bases are great I always get the salad and their dips are awesome as well. My favorite is the hummus and tzatziki are amazing. I love the shredded chicken and vegetables. The spicy sumac is the best dressing and mix it all together and it is the perfect meal! Overall, for the price we paid ( $15 for my rice bowl), this place was very meh. It took way too long to order ( we were the only people in the place at around 5 in the evening). Stood for a good 10 min before someone decided to come out - everyone could see us from the kitchen window, so it was weird. The rice wasn't flavorful for my bowl, the veggies were over marinated and too strong. The toppings were fresh and I liked the carrots/ cabbage slaw. Okay so I've eaten here a lot or i'll order take out/delivery. I've tried almost all of their locations because the food is fresh and it's always pretty darn good. I think I've only had like 3-4 issues throughout the 5 years I've been eating here. The lunch box specials are super convenient and cheap specially if you're on the go. It'll cost you less than $15 for rice, hummus and pita, your choice of protein and a salad. Everything is delicious. My favorites are the Tilapia, Chicken and tenderloin but you must emphasize for your protein to be well done (if applicable) because if not it's happen where i'll get pink chicken or red meat. Only a few times have they messed up my order (we order delivery a lot for the office) but every time I call everything gets sorted out which is fine. Today, it happened again... We received a chicken instead of a falafel. I called to make the restaurant aware of the mistake and if we can please get the correct order sent to us, as it was already charged on the receipt. She told us she would sent the driver back but asked if we can send the wrong platter back with the driver... I mean of course we can because we're not going to eat it, it so happens that the person who's order that was is vegetarian but that's an odd request and I truly hope that Rice House of Kabob does not try and sell that to another person. Although it was never touched, it was in the office for about 30 minutes, maybe even longer and to me that's a bit unethical to resell something that has left the premises. Other than the few mistakes the food is pretty good. You should dine there to avoid any mistakes. read more

I stepped foot in the door 35 mins before closing. The associate who takes orders was standing in the corner on her phone away from the front counter. I saw all the tables up and no one else waiting to order. I asked the women on her phone if they were still open for ordering take out. She hesitates then replies yes and rolls her eyes. Sensing the unwelcoming energy I made my order short and sweet. 5 mins after I put in my original order i needed to add another food item. Again I'm the only patron in the entire establishment and they're only cooking my order. Since again the associate who takes orders Is away from the counter I had to shout excuse me to the women cooking my food if I was able to add an additional entree to my order. She told me no. I then replied with that they were open until 10 and that she was already cooking my order. She goes to the back and asks the lady to ring me up for the additional item. The associate once again rolls her eyes at me and now snatches my card out of my hand. After this interaction she starts to slam things around the store and heads to the back. I solely don't come to this location because of the attitude and the "I don't want to be at work" attitude. I understand that you are 35 mins away from closing but with no other patrons in the restaurant and no orders coming in Virtually there should have been no attitude taking my order. Don't want customers in your door 35 mins before closing then simply lock the doors and call it a night. read more

Wow well, this place went down hill. It was awesome and delicious 12 years ago...which was the last time I ate here. Fast forward to this year, and now they have bowls? Wheat pita bread? Supermarket quality hummus? The rice was good though. The chicken though...only received 4 pieces. Cheapos! Prices are average, but the portions again, were not generous. It was like a small ice cream scoop of hummus with NO olive oil or seasoning, 4 cubes of chicken, caesar salad (ew...not mediterranean at all!), and the rice. A big rip off. Sadly have to give them two stars. I've been getting food from here for the past eight years. Unfortunately, the quality has Terribly digressed over the past year. Not sure if this location changed owners or if they're trying to save money. I typically get the Joojeh Platter. The last three times I ordered it, the salad has been pathetic. It came with one olive, iceberg lettuce, and a bit of feta. The dressing is also not as flavorful as it used to be. Aaaaand every now and then, I bite into chicken with cartilage texture. Very disappointing that prices have increased as the quality continues to decrease. For $12 I would expect more than 5 little chunks of chicken and iceberg lettuce. 1/11- I emailed customer service as the owner requested and still haven't heard back. read more

My girlfriend and I were STARVING when we stepped off a yacht cruising the Miami Beach area for the afternoon and we walked to the first place with food we could find. It was Rice House of Kabob. We picked each something from the picture menu. The setup is simple and clear. She ordered the falafel platter and I ordered the fish wrap. The drinks, utensils and napkins are self serve. We were given a buzzer for when the food would be ready. My girlfriend her food came out within minutes. It was delicious and the falafel balls were not dry at all and flavorous. The star I took off was because my friend finished her food by the time my fish wrap finally came out. Starving and watching her finish her food while I think they were still trying to catch the fish for in my wrap, is torture. My wrap was really good as well but less filling than the falafel platter. Both came with the same delicious dressing. Overall good and no complaints at all about this fast food place that I just hope was a little faster with mine coming out when I was on the verge of starvation:)) read more

I noticed a lot of negative reviews on this particular location, but I am not sure why. I am an avid Rice fan and have been for years. I typically order from the Coral Gables or South Miami location, since that is near my house, but the past two weeks I have gone to the South Beach location and it is just as great of an experience and meal as any other location. The only thing I don't like is how their prices keep going up, but so is everything with supply chain issues and inflation. Delicious, nutritious and hits the spot every single time.
