This Sweetgreen is strategically located right off the Venetian Causeway in the beach, a very popular running route. That was actually why I went, after a 5 mile run from my house. Sweetgreen is what I call "paint by the numbers" where you order a certain number of greens, carbs, veggies, and protein at the counter and take your plate to the table. Seating is both inside and on the terrace. I started my order with a double order of spinach, and enjoyed scoops of quinoa, baby tomatoes, carrots & sweet potatoes. In addition to these, there are also some premium sides for which there is an up charge. My premium sides were scoops of goat cheese, as well as hummus. My protein today consisted of both blackened chicken and Korean barbecue/sesame chicken. The ingredients looked fresh and were pretty tasty. They also include a slice of bread with your bowl. The cashier was helpful, allowing me to try samples of both the wild rice and quinoa, as well as a couple of the varieties of chicken. Tidiness has improved a lot. Timeliness of orders has gotten worse. It looks like they are trying to manage a high volume of orders with insufficient staff. Because order progress isn't functional, I've had to wait an unreasonably long time for some pick-up orders (up to 30 minutes past the ETA which is crazy). This is somewhat of a neighborhood place. So I went for lunch with a friend. It's more or less an elevated salad bar. Yes, lots of healthy greens and other toppings to glorify the greens - almonds, thinly sliced roasted sweet potato, goat cheese, lots more. Mine was topped with chicken. It is a really adequate portion. We sat outside in the little garden, a nice touch. Another nice touch is a real bowl, not plastic, or paper. Located in sunset harbor with metered street parking. Some tables inside and an outdoor eating area. I ordered two bowls on their app and ended up eating at the location. I ordered their buffalo chicken bowl and my friend ordered a customized bowl. It was a good thing we ended up eating our bowl there bc we found out they forgot to add the blackened chicken to the customized bowl. The salads are fantastic and moderately priced but, customers of this Sunset Harbour location beware. Their AC has been busted for more than 2 weeks now. How their employees are still able to smile for customers is nothing short of honorable. It sucks because I drive my bike a 1/2 mile for the food, and it's horrible spending more than 5 mins inside. Sweetgreen is one of my favorite spots for healthy lunch that actually tastes fresh and real. I love the variety of options they have and how they cater to just about any dietary preference. They are consistently good, the staff is always nice and helpful too. Around lunch hour be prepared to be met with a long line, but to beat the crowd just order on the app. I think prime time to avoid a long line is the first hour they are open, or past prime lunch hours. Their jalapeno cilantro vinaigrette is my favorite sauce here. The green goddess ranch and cashew dressing are also good. They serve foccacia from Zak the baker which you can never go wrong with! My go to is a bowl of spring mix with black lentils,lots of veggies, blackened chicken, some zaatar breadcrumbs, and jalapeno cilantro vinaigrette. I highly recommend coming here for a quick and healthy lunch that tastes delicious. read more

Though the price has increased recently, Sweetgreen is still one of the more economical healthy lunch options in the area. The salads are filling and the ingredients are high quality. What made me review this sweetgreen though was the attentiveness of the staff. There's a team of 5 of so that I regularly see in there. They gave a strong familiarity with the programmed salads and they're great and getting any modifications right. They're also very positive and seem to enjoy working together. Even though they're cranking out hundreds of salads, they keep things upbeat. I prefer just going in to trying to time the order ahead. Im sooooo disappointed with Sweetgreen in South FL, specifically the location in Miami Beach. I went this past weekend, and everything looked so unappealing. First of all, I was the only one in the restaurant and had to wait for someone to come help me. The containers holding the condiments, proteins and lettuce were basically empty. Everything looked old. I was honestly scared to even eat the chicken. Going to the sweetgreens in the Northeast.. they are typically packed, and the employees are always on top of filling the containers and fast at helping the customers. Now I understand this store was empty, and they probably don't want to waste food, but also know how unappetizing it was to see what I saw. I spent $20 on a salad that I couldn't even eat. If you have any allergies to garlic, soy, onions etc, or you have IBS then you really should NEVER eat at sweet green. They put oil, soy and "umami" flavor on everything. Umami definitely has SOY AND GARLIC IN IT. It's actually US law that you have to list garlic in ingredients if used but they don't. Also, SOY is such an inflammatory food for many people. This is a "safe and healthy" place to eat but it's really not. Even the broccoli has garlic and umami on it. So you're really not safe with any vegetables . Very upset and disappointed. read more

I love the sweetgreen in Gables and so was looking forward to trying Miami Beach where I live. During lunch hour on a Friday there was only one person working the entire line, and that same person was working the cash register. Incredibly disorganized. I stood there with my wife for 15 minutes with probably four people in front of us the whole time and we bailed.
