Amazing crab rangoon, full of warm, creamy crab and cream cheese. I'll be back to try more of their food!

Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Restaurant looked clean, but food was horrible. $21 just to go home and eat something else.

Sadly giving this review. We wanted so badly for this place to do well. Only giving two stars…read morebecause we went several weeks ago for lunch and had the buffet which was not as bad as tonight. We waited for an hour and 30 minutes for our food tonight. When it finally came out, the boneless wings were barely warm, missing our ranch which we had to wait for. The fries were overcooked and we could barely eat them. Added salt because they were tasteless and it still didn't help. The ketchup lid fell off onto my food (gross) and tasted like it was bad. The codfish tasted like it was cooked in burnt oil or something. It was also barely warm. We couldn't quite figure it out and the onion finger things didn't taste like they were good. The only halfway good thing was the steak and cheese sandwich. They were very busy tonight, so we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but when the food was not even good, like at all, that really sucked. Hopefully this was a fluke and they figure it out. We really want them to succeed. Sadly we won't be returning.

We stopped in for an appetizer and drink to check the place out. We sat at the bar. The…read morebartender was friendly although not the most attentive..... I did take some time to get waited on. Tucked away off of Old Route 13, Midland Inn is perhaps on of the best places to place an order for a jumbo margarita and enjoy a country feeling with a plethora of friendly locals. Waitstaff will always share a genuine smile that provides a relaxing mood for enjoying one of the best BBQ places in the area. It's worthy to note: if you're looking for fall off the bone ribs, that yield notes of tender-loving care, then this is the place. Although the prices are low, they are in no way indicative of the portion sizes nor quality. Either inside or outside, both are great environments to meet up with friends and enjoy the hospitality that Southern Illinois has to offer. Personal favorite aside from the ribs and a fair-priced old fashioned is their pulled pork sandwich with a side of baked beans and fries. Sweet and savory only to be washed down with a great cocktail. Worth every minute and penny.

The inside is not impressive. Looks like a kid's play room with toys all over. No inside dining available. What comes out of Barb's Bounty is much more impressive! I had the daily special--a ham and Turkey club. Imagine three pieces of toasted sourdough (I'm guessing)--one side is a BLT and the other ham, cheese and Turkey. Best bacon ever! My side was the fruit salad. It was a nice combination of fresh and canned fruits. The rest of our party had the same daily special, but with battered fries (waffle fries were also an option). Our son had a burger (rated a 4) and potato salad (rated a 5). Each day features a couple of daily lunch specials and a dinner special, in addition to a variety of soups, salads, wraps, burgers, and sandwiches. For a small place, it offers a great variety.
