This place is in the middle of a busy street in Highlandtown, so it can be a little bit difficult to find parking. Once you do, it's confusing, because it's inside of a Western Union, but you're at the right place! I called ahead of time and let Ricardo know when I'll be dropping my pants off. When I got there, I was seen immediately. He did measurements with one pair of pants, and he was able to fix 13 pairs of pants for me! I'm small in every way, so I needed my pants to be taken in at the waist and hemmed at the bottom. All of them came out perfect, and I only paid $10 for each pair. I was pretty flexible with my timeline for the first set that I gave him, so he took a little over two weeks. The second set, I needed it done within a few days, and he was able to do it and call me when they were finished. Ricardo is a 10/10 tailor. I visited him three weeks before I was in a wedding needing a bridesmaids dress hemmed. He had it ready a week before the wedding and it was completed beautifully. He took the time to confirm exactly the length I wanted and didn't aggressively ask to make other changes. Very affordable for this young Baltimore millennial. Yes it's a strange location but don't judge a book by its cover. His hours are flexible- call in advance if you need him to stay later like I did cause I don't get off work till 5:30/6pm. I really want to like this place. I really do. However, I didn't have the greatest experience... I dropped off a floor length gown that I needed to get hemmed. They told me that it would be read in 5 days. I showed up on the day, and they told me that it wasn't ready because they forgot...Thought that they had told me the following day. I came back the next day and it seemed like they were just starting to work on it. The dress is made of chiffon, so it's a bit tricky to hem and they used the wrong stitching on the bottom and realized that it wouldn't stay, so they had to re-do the hemming. Needless to say, it wasn't ready when I arrived. Third time's the charm: it was finally ready the third time I came back. However, I noticed afterwards that the hemming was a bit crooked. Some parts of the dress were hemmed higher than others. It doesn't particularly matter since it's floor length. I also wanted it hemmed such that it wouldn't be touching the ground. I even brought heels to try it on, and yet, when I tried on the dress, it slightly dragged on the ground. I guess that's fine because it hid the fact that the dress was hemmed crooked... read more

Clothes not delivered on time. I was made to come back 3 days in a row just to have my clothes be altered incorrectly on the 4th day. I had specific requests which the tailor never wrote down. Nearly 300 dollars in clothes ruined. Will not be returning. read more

Ricardo is the man. Went in to have him measure me for a dress shirt and open up a chest pocket in a blazer (to put tie squares in). He had me in and out in less than five minutes and refused to let me pay him. Will be going back for future alterations and tailoring for sure. read more
