Both separate issues but both related to the work done by Mike Bergstrom. The leaks are where he added on to our existing home, and we choose to avoid issues to not just add to the roof but completely redo the whole thing! We invested the extra money ironically hoping to have a worry free addition using all new. The first electrical issue was related to the fire detector in the room addition being installed incorrectly, so it kept going off. The second was a short in the new wiring in the kitchen addition done by Mike. When hired Mike talked a good sales pitch he promised to always stand by his work. We've tried to seek his help over the last 8 years with numerous issues undeniably related to the addition and he will not repair his work. When called a gal named Rhonda answers.... Promises to help but then ghosts you. Contacting a company you paid over $70k for should receive at a minimum a response. We reached out simply to obtain documents or proof on our roof warranty seeing that most have a 10 year warranty. We didn't want him or his team back in the home considering his work is a danger but we did want to check warranties seeing that the roof he did had leaked several times (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025) all at the joints of the addition. Simply put..... stay away from this company, not only is the workmanship a failure but there is zero accountability and integrity from the owner.

WARNING: CHOOSE A DIFFERENT CONTRACTOR!!!!! Juan and…read moreProServ were the worst contractors I have ever worked with. I called for a leak in my roof and Juan claimed the insurance would cover all of the damage and proceeded with tearing my walls and kitchen and ceiling apart immediately and quickly. Once they tore everything apart they informed me 10k+ actually wasn't going to be covered (too late though it's already been demolished). Juan then turned unresponsive, claiming things like family emergencies, vehicle issues, employees having surgery, his team having family emergencies. In reality he wants to leave you in a desperate situation so you spend the money with him to fix everything. Every single timeline he gave me on the project wasn't true. Juan lies ALOT. Within the first week they broke a window leaving my living room exposed to the elements the entire 4 months it took to complete this job. Juan is quick to show up and tear things apart and VERY slow at getting the job done as he continues to add out of pocket expenses. Ive ran into other people who used ProServe as well and said the same thing. Im encouraging them to write reviews as well to protect any other people from his scam. This was supposed to be a small leak in the roof job, turned into a $40k+ plus nightmare. Go with literally any other contractor on here, I made the mistake of choosing ProServe because they showed up the fastest when I called, and it was the worst mistake Ive made in the last 10 years.

First I dealt with Matthew who was the project manager and completely dropped the ball on this project. A month after installation my floors started lifting and he tried to tell me it was a plumbing issue & a leak in the floor and it wasn't a floor failure. Had a plumbing inspection done and turns out there was no leak. Reached back out and he never got back to me through text or call, so I wrote an email. Then I get a text from Walter who said he's the owner and knew nothing about the project but saw there were issues & informed me Matthew no longer worked for the company. He was very on top of it, came in to look at the damages, paid me back for the plumbers to come out, told me he would make it right & fix the floors. Scheduled the floor repairs for August 9-11, tried getting ahold of him the week before he was supposed to come in. Phone is off, and never showed up to fix the floors. Even emailed the email on his business card and nothing. Completely unprofessional especially when he was so on top of it to make it right to just ghost me and never show up or even contact me.
