This was another option. Not too many cars. They have been at this location since the early 2000's. Started in Tulsa 33 years ago they are a staple around here. The menu emphasizes bold, fork-tender barbecue with options for ribs, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and combos. Meats are hickory-smoked on-site, and you can choose "Okie style" for ribs (sticky, sweet, and extra saucy). Ambiance is definitely smoke house with the smells throughout. IMO most smokehouses always seem to charge a high price for bbq and I'm not a fan of sauce on it. It's ok on the side if you want to dip but to me it hides the smoked meat flavor. read more

I recently had the pleasure of having some take-out at Rib Crib on Douglas Blvd in Midwest City, and it was an excellent! I ordered the smoked chicken, which was incredibly flavorful and tender. The smoky baked beans were the perfect side, rich in taste and full of that classic barbecue flavor. The mashed potatoes were creamy and complemented the meal wonderfully. I know from past experiences that the service is friendly and efficient, making for a delightful dining experience overall. It's been years since I've ate at Rib Crib & I thought it was good years ago but took a friend here for their 1st time & we both ordered the chopped brisket sandwich which had hardly any brisket, it was nothing but fat & gristle. Neither one of us could finish the sandwich's & to think we had to pay extra $ for brisket. ‍ The cheese fries were nice & hot when they came to the table & that was about the only thing that was decent. The service is horrible. I had a to go order and it took them 30 minutes after I got there to even think about handing me change, when they could have offered card service. They originally showed the whole order would take 11 minutes after driving to the store and waiting 30 min I didn't want the food. I'm a diabetic and my blood sugar got so low during this I was about to pass out and when I talked to the manager all he could say was sorry. Didn't offer money off food or even to get me a drink while I waited. Rib crib will never get another penny from me. read more

My spouse and I have come to this location twice. The first time, our food was barely warm enough and service was slower then we would expect with the number of guests in store. But hey, everyone has a bad day. Deciding to attempt the location again, we came a second time. The appetizers were brought out about 15 min after we ordered. Our food, 30 minutes after order. Drinks were not offered refills during this time. The appetizers were warm, could tell they had been sitting for a moment. A salad was ordered and never brought out. When our food came it was on the verge of just being plain cold. Plates were not served as ordered - missing items, wrong items. Meats were over cooked and dry. Corn had been sitting under a warming lamp and was not only warm, it was dried out and discolored. Brisket ordered, was given ribs and pork. I'd like to say it's just me being overly picky but the table next to us was given a completely wrong order also. I see three people working here. If short staffed say so and let the patrons know y'all are running slow due to that; the service is crap with a waitress that doesn't appear to want to be working, and the food is mediocre. If you need a BBQ fix, go to Billy Sims or Swadleys right up the road. You could also make the drive up to Shawnee to eat at the Rib Crib there, never had a bad experience or food at Shawnee location. read more

This Rib Crib is so good!! We went on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't very crowded. The service was fast, the food was delicious. We ordered 3 meat plate with ribs,brisket,and sausage. It was tasty. There was enough for a whole other meal. They have hamburgers as well,there was so much meat on the burger, the only bad thing was the bread got a little soggy. The last thing was, I got another RC cup-- they're good to re use at home. I highly recommend this RC. I'm so glad the dining area was open. ITS TIME TO GET OUT AND DINE OUT AGAIN!! I love the all you can eat aspect of the meal here. The sides being all you can eat is awesome too! I usually love the mac and cheese. This trip was all about the ribs though. Our server was amazing and so attentive. She kept our plates and drinks full to bursting! The salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was pretty good. Not the fresh homemade style I love at other meat spots, but still good. The only negative was that the ribs werent 100% on this trip. They were good and I got full, but they seemed a little overdone, like from the day before reheated. I doubt this was the case, but that was the texture and feel they had unfortunately. We will be back, but next time I will switch meals if the ribs are like they were on this trip. Great Tuesday night visit with incredible, friendly service. My husband was craving ribs, so we drove to MWC on AYCE night. Our server Michelle was just wonderful. Friendly, prompt, polite, attentive, and she listened to every word we said. Kind of exceptional. And the food was delicious. Not wantong a ton of meat myself, I really Iiked that the AYCE meal includes sides, ha. I had all the salad and coleslaw I wanted. Ribs were super tender and flavorful, though. Not smoky. I was happily surprised that they provided a doggie bag not just for bones but also for unfinished meat. The kitchen is visible from the dining room and is sparkling clean. The whole staff that night was happy and working well together. The manager stopped at our table to check on us too. This place is has good bbq for a fair price. I ordered the pitman sandwich that comes with smoked sausage, pulled pork, and brisket with a side of fried okra. Maybe it was the amount of time it took us to get our food home which was about 15min it was just barely warm. There wasn't a wow factor with the meal at all. My hubby wanted BBQ so we thought we'd give Rib Crib another try. Hadn't been here in many years. Inside is decorated really nice and the women's restroom was clean. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. My hubby ordered the 4 meat and I couldn't decide so I ordered the 2 meat dinner. It comes with 2 sides so I ordered the okra and the macaroni and cheese. For my meats I ordered the smoked chicken and chopped brisket. There was only a couple of tables of people at this time. When we finally received our food mine and my husband's okra was cold and chewy. My husband's hot links were cold and my chopped brisket and chicken was room temperature at best. Another waitress noticed we were not happy with the cold food and immediately apologized and took our food back to the kitchen. She told our waitress what happened and she brought us a Rib Crib punch card for a free sandwich on our next visit. She said "this cook is worse than the last one they had" so I guess they've been having problems with him. The new plates of food arrived and most of it was piping hot and fresh. We really appreciate how the waitresses quickly handled the situation but I doubt that we will be back anytime soon. read more

Yep that's five stars. We have had some bad experiences a RibCrib BBQ in the past. But lately we've been going and things are much better. The ribs are fantastic. The service is usually good. And the sweet Smokey baked beans are the best I've ever had. I don't know what they did to improve, but it seems to be working. Of course I only have experience with the Midwest City location on Midwest Boulevard. I can't vouch for the rest of their locations. read more

I had a great BBQ sandwich here for lunch the today. It had sliced brisket and hot link with a soft hamburger bun. The fries were very crunchy, well seasoned and delicious. I had a generous amount of food and left very satisfied. I couldn't even finish all of my French fries. Don't listen to the naysayers trying to say it isn't a big enough portion to fill you up. :) No complaints about the service. We had a friendly server. She didn't hover over us which can be very annoying. She filled our drinks as we needed and got us everything we asked for. Get the sweet tea to drink! It's very sweet and refreshing. I tried ordering delivery on DD app, and after making my order and purchasing it, I received a call stating the restaurant was out of meat.... at 5:30pm.... ???? So ok, thinking positively, I order food again same method. I ordered 3 meat meal with taters and fries. My order arrived and... no fries. The food was all pretty cold, and i got such a small amount of meat for each one. It's really pathetic paying $20 just for this meal, plus an extra side of taters- in total paying $35- and not receiving my full order and it being prepped and packaged half assed. When the rib crib in midwest city opened up i went there with my parents during their first weekend. The place was packed so we expected having to wait longer for our food. However my dad ordered the all you can eat ribs, and my mom got something else. I however ordered a simple cheeseburger with a side of coleslaw, and extra pickels. My parents got their food 20 minutes after we ordered while i had to wait over an hour. My parents ate their food and my dad said their coleslaw was the worst he ever had, and finally after 3 times asking when my food was going to get done it finally came. The burger was over cooked, and i only had 2 pickles on my burger, the cole slaw was indeed bad and they tried to appease me by giving me a free oreo sundea however i had to wait another 15 minutes and it was nothing special. Used to frequent rib crib but the past 3 times we have been there all the brisket and turkey have been dry and over cooked! Also the chicken as well! I eat there because it is one of the better commercial bbq places around, however I don't think I will be back! I have been smoking meat for almost 30 years and own a start up bbq business and if you would like I can come in and show you ways to keep it fresh and juicy even after cutting if you would like! I went there one time and the brisket actually had a crust on it and was cut in the proper direction but only once! My water glass is merely a vessel for lemon wedges glittering against the ice. I got my own water once. The ribs kept coming out hot and somewhat moist. We know how it is when 40 folks want exactly the same thing-NOW. So the meat was as to be expected. The green beans were from a can, potato salad was decent and the baked beans aren't meant to be so full of stuff. It was the company that made the meal and we made it work for us. Coleslaw was severely outdated as in it tasted a few days past expiration. The baby back ribs were about average for a barbecue joint but nothing too special. The first Babyback ribs were pretty decent the meat fell off the bones almost instantly with little ligament attachment. The dry rub they use for the ribs seems to bring a good colorful flavor but lacks any type of sweet or saucy appeal which is often covered with the sweet and sticky style ribs which includes a small basting of their signature sauce. read more

Having lived in North Carolina, I have barbecue pretty well under my belt (literally and figuratively). The barbecue sauces were tasty, as were the hot links, but nothing else was spectacular. The service was actually pretty good, but the food was average. We dined with more flies than people in our party, so be ready to protect your food. read more

I went to Rib Crib in midwest city to get a to go order and had hoped for a wonderfully good dinner however that was not my experience at all.. I was waiting a long time for my to go order first of all and was just thinking it was because they were busy however my order was delayed due to the cook they had told my waitress that she wasnt making her food for her. My waitress informed her the order was a to go order and i was waiting only to have the cook again argue with her saying she wasn't making her food for her to eat. My waitress inform her several times the order was for a customer and she insisted on belittling her and saying extremely inappropriate things to her. I felt very sad for the waitress. Having a staff member who treats other employees as this cook did was totally inappropriate and I assure you I will not return to this establishment again and I strongly encourage others to not support such a place that has employees like this cook. The other employees clearly seen how this waitress was treated as well as I'm sure who ever was in an in charge position. How sad that in 2021 we have employers hiring and condoning out right meanness and bullying on the job.. Odered the "Three Meat Combo" with Ribs, Brisket and Turkey. It's a sad commentary on a BBQ restaurant when the best of the three was the Turkey. The ribs were bland, as if someone forgot the rub and tough. The Brisket was overdone and also had little added flavor. It seemed as if someone wasn't paying close attention to the smoker and let it get too hot. I won't really comment on the sides or the service as they were adequate.
