My previous workplace bought me a desk and I loved it so much I purchased it for myself at my new workplace. Beware of Office Depot's furniture assembly service. I called to set up assembly service and was told someone would call me within 24-48 hours to set up a time. After two weeks, I never heard from someone. I called again, same thing. I called a third time. On the fourth call, it was admitted to me that while they claim to service the entire country they don't have an ample number of service assemblers in every state. I understand things are slower, also, during the pandemic, but I never received a call to get an update. I'm in Manhattan, Kansas, two hours from Kansas City and he told me the closest service technician was in Kansas City. He could not promise if someone could assemble my desk in 2 days or 2 months. The outgoing voice message as you wait on hold has a woman's voice that says Office Depot is "ready" to assemble your furniture. Don't believe it! So I hired a handy man. We spent four hours putting it together. It's not difficult, just very tedious. That's Ok, but when we reached the part of putting on the desktops, we discovered that several of the pre-drilled holes were off by as much as 1/2 to 1 inch. Some spots, where there should have been pre-drilled holes, did not have them for the pegs. I still love the desk, but exceptionally disappointed in Office Depot! I recommend the product, but not Office Depot. Go to Staples or other vendors for items that require assembly.

The crashes seem to be limited to a couple software programs, so maybe a re-install might be in order. Repairs and service are very affordable, and she seemed like she really wanted to put the computer at its optimal health and speed.

The protector was not there. Last weeks geek didn't order it. Today's geek ordered it to be sent to my home. I checked the confirmation, and they want to bill me for $48!! I paid lots of money for Zagg. I will not pay $48 for what I could get from Amazon for $1. I should not have to fix your mistakes! I really hope you go under. You don't keep anything in stock, will not answer a phone call. Your best buy business is set to fail.

Nice place, never too busy. Staff was quick to help, friendly as well. Took the time to save me around $100 on my custom PC, special ordered parts for me when they didnt have them in stock in a timely manner. A wonderful woman from a different store helped a ton with the options of what I could do and what upgrades to get in the future. Even the district manager helped when I was a little impatient. 9/10 definitely coming back for other parts in the future. Had never been to Ribbit before, I went in having a problem with my windows upgrade I did not want to do on my laptop, nothing looked the same. Was helped by a gentleman named Able I believe, it was clear they had been busy that day but still took the time to show me how to navigate this new windows on my machine and managed to still keep up a positive and informative attitude, my computer wasn't broken I just needed some guidance, may not have made any money off me that day but that customer service I received will guarantee that I will be buying my next laptop at Ribbit Computers. I had battled with a telephone carrier for my friend and his new phone trying to transfer information which should have been easy to accomplish. I spent hours trying to get through on the phone and then when reaching them they weren't able to help in a productive way even though it was their phone. I went to Ribbit who I trusted several times over the years and in a matter of minutes Keith solved my problem with a smile and great attitude. Have been coming here for over a decade, I've seen employees come and go and thought I knew what to expect. Well recently there has been a bit of a change of the guard, there are these gentlemen Mark and Amel working there now and they consistently give me the best customer service I've received at almost any store period and I know there are times I probably came off annoying but they still remained knowledgeable and honest. I brought my laptop in here because the mouse kept sticking whenever I clicked on anything. It was annoying and I was tired of dealing with it. I took it to ribbit and from check-in to pickup was six business days, and that included ordering the part. The whole keyboard and everything looked like when I got it. If 1 Stop Geek Shop was the only computer shop left on the planet, I think I'd be more to get rid…read moreof my broken computer and rely on carrier pigeons instead of subjecting myself to their ridiculous customer service and slow turn around. Do not take any electronics in need of repair to them, and do not, under any circumstance, purchase any of their computers. I purchased a computer from them in November of 2010. I didn't begin using it until the middle of December, and by the second week in January we were having difficulties keeping it on, due to a power supply issue. The "owner" who later called himself a "manager" did tell us that he'd "take care of us" when we brought the computer in mid-February. I heard nothing from this company unless I called them. The were "fixing" my computer for 10 weeks, and I finally got a response after filing a complaint with the better business bureau. Their customer service is non-exsitent, no one could answer my questions, and best of all even be bothered to return my phone calls. For a company that boasts on their website "100% customer satisfaction guaranteed" and "fast turnaround", I experienced everything but their claims. To top it all off the "owner"/"manager" Jason Gregg was downright insulting in his communication with me, implying that I think computers are fixed by fairies and parts to fix them grow in backyards. I would avoid this company at all costs. They are shady, unprofessional and ridiculously slow. Take your computer somewhere else, anywhere else, and save yourself the hassle I experienced.
