Natick Rd. Same building as Concentra Urgent Care. No appointment necessary. The entrance is under the drive through portico facing Macy's (sort of). Nice to have the overhead protection to drop off someone on a rainy day. There is plenty of parking in front of the building. As soon as you enter, straight ahead a few steps lead down. If you need to use the elevator, it's to the right of the steps. The waiting area for the lab is at the bottom of the steps and to the left. Take a number by the check-in window and have a seat. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. When your number is called, hand your lab slip, ID and insurance card to the receptionist. Reception will log you in, be sure they have all your insurance info in the system and add the ordered tests which will print labels for phlebotomy staff. A phlebotomist will come to the door and call your first name when it's your turn. During my first visit a student phlebotomist did my blood draw under the supervision of the staff phlebotomist. She did a great job and I was in and out quickly. The room where they do the draws is brightly lit and very clean. Staff were all very friendly and the receptionist really helped me out with insurance. If this is a convenient location for you, it seems like a good choice. Now, let's see if my insurance carrier agrees.

She said she knew I was there but she was doing something. There was one other person in the waiting room. I have never waited that long there with more people in the waiting room. This morning I had to get some blood work done and take a 2 hour glucose test. Luckily, my…read morenutritionists building has a Quest Diagnostics in it...... Super convenient. The office is very small overall but cozy. There is one woman who works here and she is splendid. Extremely nice and professional. I mentioned to her that I have an issue with needles and that I will never out grow my fear unfortunately, and she was completely sympathetic. She used a needle one size down from the one she normally would use in order for me to not feel it. You know, I didn't! I was very thankful! She also took the time to explain the glucose test process. The office is very clean and well kept. There is some reading material, but nothing that interested me so my suggestion is to bring something to read if you think you will be awhile. My ONLY reason for the 4 stars is because they are not open weekends. I had come here Saturday morning as to try and avoid interrupting my work week and the hours, which are posted right on the door, only show Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm. So the only time I could do this was a weekday morning.

Also, if there's an issue with locating a vein they don't poke around. A simple butterfly (think that's the name) will be inserted. Rarely that's the case with me lbut it's happened at hospitals and other facilities - the constant poking with no blood. Here they remember and she finds the correct spot first try everytime. The intake is a bit lengthy but they do it right and unlike East Side they do it in front of you and explain any questions before you initial or sign. Again other places treat you like a deli order and you sit in the waiting room until they do the paperwork and surprise surprise, I've gotten bills for things my insurance didn't cover at East Side where Quest will look and make sure all is well. Even with the short hours - I'm giving this 5 stars because of the quality of service. Besides, I usually have to fast anyway so it's not an issue. It's a walk in & appointment so those that get angry, make an appointment.

I arrived Friday about 25 minutes in advance to fill out paperwork & when finished, I was promptly brought into a cheerful, brightly lit examining/testing room. The RNP (who I THINK was Kathleen: I really, really wish I could recall her name!) was amazingly sweet and went over everything I should anticipate from both exams. Dr. L'Europa popped in briefly to quickly feel around my wrist before the RNP took over for the nerve conduction study. She was completely professional and caring while performing the procedure (which, I'll be honest, wasn't painful in the least. It felt like a TENS unit on super low) and had a great conversation with me to pass the time while doing so. Afterwards, the doctor came back in who then performed the oh-so-scary EMG. ....this test literally lasted all of two minutes and despite all the horror stories easily read online and by word of mouth, it was pain-free. The "worst" sensation were slight pricks where the needles were inserted however he was so fast and gentle it was over before I could sneeze. I 100% recommend Dr. L'Europa for those needing EMG/nerve testing. After having a brief conversation with him, as well as research online, I'm convinced that the individuals who were literally tortured during the testing, unfortunately were 'cared' for by inexperienced technicians or medical students instead of the actual doctor. It's also worth adding that their facilities are so pretty and welcoming! Much different than intimidating, white walled examination rooms.

Even if it is drastically affecting your quality of life and making you suffer. Really don't understand how people can just turn their backs on sick patients especially when they're so young. My son desperately needs help, and they just did nothing for him even with extensive documentation from his neurosurgeon out of state.. Heartbreaking.
