Came here with my daughter to get bloodwork and she fainted. She was sliding out of the chair and I was holding her up by her head (I had been stroking her hair) and he had a needle in her arm. I was telling him I needed help and he continued to let her slide while he added more tubes (6) taking more blood. When she woke up, he couldn't even offer her a drink of water. She kept saying how thirsty she was. I had to run out to the car and leave her alone to get a bottle of water. She ended up bruised on her arm and we were a bit shooken up. That is life I suppose.... It happens. I suppose he did his job. I was just unhappy with the situation. I suppose it is not his job to supply the facility with drinking water or to be sincere.
3 days later we had to go back and drop off her stool samples. I signed in, and noticed a couple with a baby had been waiting over 30 minutes. When the man came to the counter, (same guy) I told him I was dropping off. He told me I had to wait. I said I am just dropping off it is complete. He said I have to enter your insurance info. I said I was just here a couple days ago you have all of the information. He said I can tell by looking at your bag you don't have the right stickers. Then he said the doctor didn't give me the right tools and it had to be done again.
I took my seat. Another woman came in and said, "I'm just dropping off." and he gave her the same answer. I guess he's just doing his job, but I was irritated. He called up the couple with the baby and they did their thing. He called me up, and as I expected, he had all of my current information in the computer (it had been 3 days) and did not need any information from me. He did however have to give me a setup to do more testing.
I have never experienced anything like this in my life before so I can't really compare it. I don't really know if I'm complaining. The man was just doing his job. I suppose he is not required to be friendly or nurturing. I only know that I never want to take my daughter there again ever. read more
