BlueFish I bought two Blue Fish at $3.99 per pound and when I arrived home I was disappointed that it was not cleaned, heads off and tails on as I requested, but the weekend is here so I could deal with that, however once the fish was seasoned and fried, the fish tasted bitter in certain spots and this is a sure sign that these Blue Fish were not fresh. Return policy. I didn't find out about the return policy until I left the store. You can not return seafood that is cooked or seasoned and it must be returned on the same day. I bought Blue Fish around 7pm in the evening,cooked it around 9pm? The market closes at 7pm....How is a same day return possible? Disappointing. I will not be back, the fish was stale and the customer service lacked a lot, there's a better fish market on Fulton Street and Nostrand Avenue that I normally patronize, however I was in such a rush I visited this merchant, because it was close to home.
