I had several issues that were one after another. None of the ongoing issues were due to anything AAA did or didn't do. My hot tub is a few years older and has been moved to my current home which contributed to the issues I had along with normal wear and tear and the prior company not fixing the original problem correctly. My ongoing issues came within hours to days after the prior repairs but AAA Spa and Pool Service were always professional and responsive to me and getting my hot tub taken care of before the cold weather hit which can make fixing a hot tub outside the home difficult or almost impossible till warmer weather. Columbus Pool Works responded with a very accurate estimate to restore the pool. In only three visits they balanced the chemicals in the pool and installed a new port on my Hayward filter. They honored a minor repair under warranty with no issues and chased down another problem that turned out to be the electrical contractors fault. Would buy my spa again from Tim. Delivery did not go the smoothest as my one point of criticism. I talked directly to Tim about it so my complaint wasn't blown off or anything like that. Pro tip: know in advance what direction you want your spa cover lift to go and which direction you want your service panel to go. Go through the manual's installation manual to make sure all steps have been done including closing a drain port in the motor. You're gonna have a bad time if someone decides for you or forgot a step.

OH BOY do not work with this man or company !…read more Our family hired him to renovate our pool interior and deck. Within a year and a half mold started showing up behind the beautiful glass tiles. By the next year they were falling off into the pool. Once we started asking around about him this year, turns out there are now lawsuits pending against him across Columbus. Why are we talking to other contractors? Because it turns out the entire pool deck needs to be pulled up because it wasn't laid down properly, there are areas not adhered to the concrete base. Untrustworthy and subbed out the majority of work and was rarely there to oversee things. Wonder if he regrets that now? Avoid at all costs !

We have tried to reach out and have not received a return call. Knickerbocker wants to charge an additional fee to do what should have been done originally by the opening team. We are simply requesting that the job that we paid for be completed. If there is something that needs to be fixed...we'll discuss that at that point. I feel like I'm actually being taken care of and they make my pool management easy. If I bring in a water sample they chemically evaluate and recommend what I need to put it back in balance. They tend to be more expensive than the other pool place in Troy but with Knickerbocker I am able to manage my pool with little effort. That means I get to spend more time in it.
