Dr. Brodsky is great. I have no complaints aside from the difficulties in getting appointments. The rest of the operation is horrible. First, the patient portal is useless. If I go on the website, the latest info is from 2023, so apparently that portal is no longer active, but no alternatives show on the website, making it impossible to contact my doctor. Secondly, I was on hold recently for 35 minutes, and then was cut off. No call back, nothing, although the receptionist was supposed to be "checking". It's a shitshow over there. When I show up for my next appointment without having done the necessary testing, it will be their fault. It's a shame to gave patients treated this way. Im looking for a other practice. read more

I am a patient for over 5 years. I am having trouble with my portal and no one will call me back or help. Everyone answering the phone is confused about how to help. I have been waiting for my script to go to a quest lab from Dr Mongroo to be added to my portal for over a week. I have been calling for days to pick up paperwork to no avail as well as I'm unable now to leave messages for my Dr via email through the patient portal. This is now going on for over 3 weeks The office staff is unfriendly, the minute they pick up, they put you on hold for at least 10 minutes and no one returns calls. I had an appt on 8/14/2025 and I arrived late. I take full accountability for my lateness and apologized immediately upon giving my name. I was told that the test I was supposed to have, I can't have due to my physician writing a December date. I told them that I'm a year overdue and I'm late in having the test. So I waited and the Assistant Mgr, Anne Marie came out to introduce herself. I left this person 5 messages about my unhappiness to see another physician. She apologized to say she has to answer 50+ phone calls in a day and didn't have time to return my call but she did receive all of my messages. Is this how a patient is supposed to be treated? Whatever happened to patient care and positive patient outcomes? Turns out the info in my chart was inaccurate and now I'm told I can't actually have the test because I came in late. I told the Assistant Manager that I can't speak at the moment because I was so upset and that I'm leaving. I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS OFFICE! This establishment is packed with patients and confusion. So many employees but still chaotic. An employee is only as good as its manager and from what I've observed everything matches. The communication is poor. The level of neglect is horrifying. I did overlook some things in the past but I shouldn't have. As a Nurse, I would never treat or have I ever treated my patients this way. But if you like being ignored, don't mind confusion, and prefer less than standard healthcare, this is the place for you! read more

I have been calling for 3 days to book an appointment referred by my PCP. A live person never answers the phone even when the recording says that I am caller number 1. I have left 3 messages on 3 different dates following the directive to leave my number and name and date of birth. And I'm still awaiting a call back to book an appointment. This is ridiculously and absolutely absurd and frustrating. They need to improve the calling center system or monitor the voicemail more adequately and effectively. read more

Well, I'm sure they are expecting this one. Ive never been one to leave reviews but I am so disappointed about my experience today that I feel compelled to leave one. I drove roughly 40 minutes to this office today with my one year old in tow. I have had many doctors appointments over the course of the last year and I know how different office policies can be in regards to covid and bringing a child, I get it, I truly do. Saying that though, policies have changed pretty recently and I have not had any issues bringing him when I have to go as I do not have any other choice. Policy wasn't told to me over the phone and it doesn't indicate it anywhere on the website. The welcoming environment is non existent, and when the woman behind the counter saw my son she was just sort of staring at him and said something along the lines of babies aren't allowed in here, in a tone that was so off-putting and not even in the slightest bit warm. I responded that she didn't need to tell me with an attitude, which she didn't. You can have many conversations as long as a certain amount of tact is attached. Ultimately she called back and my son being there was no problem ( a call she should have made before she made me feel uncomfortable and mentioned anything). As I am filling out the paperwork another woman behind the glass is staring at me and talking about me loud enough for me to hear. I never got to meet my doctor because I left. I felt so completely uncomfortable and unwelcome in that space. I have gone to about 20 practices or so in the last year and I have not once been made to feel that way. As a 35 year old walking into a rheumotologist office you can imagine the feeling of general desperation and not feeling well, dealing with unprofessionalism on top of it is completely unnecessary. read more

Both my daughter and I are patients at Rheumatology Consultants with Dr. Levine. He is absolutely fantastic, thorough and quick. There is very little wait time when seeing him and he takes the time to ensure he is not missing anything that might flare up our RA and talks to us about how we are responding to medication. Please avoid this practice at all costs!!! They are a scam!! First of all, the doctor insists you come back for a second visit to be given blood test results. Obviously, this is their procedure so they can charge another copay. We had to take my 80 year old mother all the way back there to be told everything was normal! After we were charged the regular specialist copays in the office, we received a bill for an additional copay amount for each visit. The insurance card clearly states the rates, so we called the billing department to resolve the issue. The very unpleasant woman who answered the phone in billing started yelling for "threatening her", when all I said was if she couldn't adjust this fee, I would be forced to alert the public of this underhanded scheme on social media. I was stunned by her unprofessional behavior, especially since I didn't say it in any threatening way whatsoever. Bottom line, I would never go back to this office and would strongly suggest you think twice about going too. read more

For years, i suffered with pan all over my body that seemed to get worse at some times over others. I also had pain in my joints and every doctor I have been to never understood or could pinpoint anything. i was given their "best guess" diagnoses and was prescribed general pain relievers. Needless to say, it did not help. ONE visit with Dr. Stuart Kaplan, and he called it..Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. After hearing him break down the illness, reading the medical pamphlets and research, and finally sharing stories with patient support groups..I finally had answers and more appropriate treatments. Everything I was suffering that I believed was weird or never heard of before, there were THOUSANDS of other people in the world going through them!
