It's understandable why the overall rating is only 2 stars. My biggest complaint is the wait time even when you schedule. On average the wait time is at minimum 30 which isn't fair for those of us who take the time to schedule in advance. This location is doing a POOR job of respecting people's time. read more

I went in as a walk in on a Sunday morning i had to wait because i was a walk in but not to long, I had an amazing phlebotomist she very kind curious and professional. She was also an amazing phlebotomist probably one of the best ones i ever had i didn't feel a thing, her name was Jofamine J. I highly recomend this lab and i would definatly recommend the same phlebotomist again. read more

Horrible. Overbooked. Long waiting period. Understaffed. The checking kiosk did not work and no person available for help.

Worse place to go to. No front desk staff Only 1 doctor. iPad for signing in and you don't even know if your going to be called up. It's Friday and we're in an orthodox community, you would think on a Friday they would be fully staffed. Our appointment was at 1030am and it's 1230pm Doctor says I don't know the wait. They had 1 extra employee who comes out and says I'm not working just helping out.....then leaves 30 mins later. This is by far the worst place to do any test with an appointment. I feel bad for the ones that don't have an appointment. The future is here with electronics running the world. To cheap to get employees. Soon a robot will draw my blood. And you write a review and the comment that the regional office will look into it. Bullshit because that happen already and it continues. So please don't even respond! I will say this. i'm only giving this place one star because you have to leave at least one star, but this is the worst quest diagnostic you would ever encounter, although they have a kiosk to check in. There's no person at the window to assist you not even just to take a specimen, the way is extremely long, whether you have an appointment or not, it is just a disgusting experience. Avoid this place like the plague, you will waste your whole day sitting there they always have an excuse of why they're backed up, but they are backed up and slow every day go to LabCorp or just find another quest in Long Island. read more

Never been to a Quest diagnostics in my entire life, booked an appointment a week ago and I arrive today 10 mins early. As SOON as I walk inside and begin to approach the front desk I am scolded and I didn't even say anything yet. No instructions on what to do , where to go nothingggg! Finally signed in and was told a 75 min wait ridiculous Update: they are now screaming at people to not sign in using the touch screen iPad and and threatening to walk out and not take anyone's blood. read more

This place is horrendous. I was forth in line BEFORE 7AM on a weekday when the office opened for "VIP treatment" of the elderly and those with special medical needs. However since more people were taken before me, it took me over an hour to have my blood taken. I tried to make a reservation but was told that they are backed up for months. But the above was not the worst of it. The receptionist was rude, disrespectful and outright unprofessional even though I was polite and was careful not to lose my temper. When I told her that I had not eaten, so she would know they could do a fasting diabetic blood test, she replied "Good for you!" When I tried to ask a question, she told me that she was answering someone who was farther away and who had spoken over me. After he finished, I asked her "may a I ask my question now?" She replied "don't talk to me like I am one of your kids!" When she was taking my information as I was seated alongside her desk, she told me to "turn around in your chair and do not look at me!" I have gone to that quest office many years ago and her behavior was similar. I am a retired journalist and got these quotes correctly. I was afraid to ask her name since it might intensify her wrath but I can identify her by describing her short-cropped, died-yellow hair as resembling a tennis ball. read more

I needed a walk-in appointment and after wasting 20 minutes of my life waiting in the Rockville Centre location, I got in my car and drove to Cedarhurst. It took me longer to drive there and park than the moments I waited for service. I was almost immediately greeted by a happy, courteous face on the other side of the glass who asked what I needed and somehow knew which doctor referred me to this location ( and I was here 2 days after the Dr. told me to go to a Quest and I chose this place because it was the only walk-in left!). Everyone I encountered was professional, courteous and had an excellent bedside manner. They quickly processed me drew my blood and I was in and out with all the work completed quickly and efficiently. I with go here every time despite living less than 2 miles from a Quest in my hometown. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!! read more

Friendly and quick service. Had to pick up specimen cup and the technician was very nice and explained what I needed to do

This is a VERY busy location so avoiding the busiest time for blood draw like early and late would be best. I was a very difficult case and Malik was meticulous with the paperwork, professional with drawing on very difficult veins and showed a level of compassion for his patients. The techs at this location are honestly the best and I think that's why they are so busy! Will be back! read more
