He walked me through the process and explained the facility to me since I was new there and told me I could have water if I needed it. He was extremely nice and so were the receptionist. The place is completely clean, very tidy and comfortable as you wait safely with social distancing seats and hand sanitizers everywhere. I much prefer it here over CityMD. When you come to this urgent care clinic you can come as a walk-in for rapid testing and sign the book. You then wait for your name to be called and give them your information. They treat you with respect and dignity. I will be traveling up Broadway to come here. It's so nice and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

They advertise a 15 minute delivery of your rapid results. However, I never received my rapid test results NOR my PCR results by email or phone call. When I returned to get both results, I was wary of how easy I was able to request my information (they did not confirm who I was, and I was even able to get my sister's results). I visited his office at 20 Prospect Ave (Hackensack-Meridian Hospital) on the 4th floor, Suite 406. My appointment was for 0900, but I arrived way too early at 0810. The 1st person that greeted me was Piedad, she was very helpful and friendly. She assisted me in completing my forms with a smile. It didn't take long to be called in, and then I met another fantastic staff member, her name is Sadoni (I hope I spelled it correctly). She was assisting me by listing and explaining my medications and procedures, she was very helpful and cheerful. After Sadoni left, I met Raquel, a young medical student with bright future ahead of her, she is smart, capable and patient. After a thorough conversation with Raquel, Dr. Surick stepped into the examining room. He's a knowledgeable and respectful physician, he listened to my concerns/needs and he addressed them appropriately. Also met a fantastic and kind young lady by the name of Yosria, she helped me with finalizing the process; e.g., paperwork, scheduling, etc. I will be coming back for a colonoscopy that's way overdue. And it helps me not have to go to the hospital where my sick brain tells me I'm catching everything (but let's be honest, hospitals are not clean my mother went to the hospital for a shoulder surgery, she ended up getting Mersa, Covid, pneumonia, and a punctured colon!) Anyway, I also love sick day because even though I don't have a bunch of kids, I do have employees. So when they come to treat me they can also look at my employees. Or if I get a Covid test I can get all my employees tested for the same price. I'm not explaining this well. I called back several times over multiple days trying to get this handled, but she kept giving me the same excuses and attitude. This isn't just about bad customer service -- my GI symptoms were getting worse, and I had already been hospitalized months earlier, which made the referral urgent. Instead of helping, the receptionist acted like my situation didn't matter, lied repeatedly, and treated me with zero respect. It's unacceptable for a medical office to have a front desk that is this careless and dismissive toward patients who are already in vulnerable situations. Every single staff member was kind and attentive yet faced paced and efficient. I felt completely heard and that I was in capable hands. I have a recurring issue that has always been dismissed by other urgent cares, ultimately resulting in escalation and later hospitalization. Here, I was given the exact treatment I knew I needed in order to prevent the root problem from spiraling, as well as a some over the counter meds to ease my symptoms. Oh, and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. This place really puts the care in urgent care, and I'm so glad to know that there's such a high quality walk-in facility in the neighborhood!
