I had several conversations with them before the date of procedure and they answered all my questions and help me prepare mentality. The day of, they knew who I was and continued to be as equally supportive. I have to give a shout out to Ashley. Talk about the sweetest and went above and beyond. I rambled horrifically and Ashley was so understanding. She made me laugh several times to ease my nerves. When the ultrasound tech came for me Ashley instructed her to take her time and explain everything to me because I was nervous and she did just that. The ultrasound tech and the doctor were very gentle and understood how nervous I was and met me where I was at emotionally. So my friends and family were aware of me having this procedure but I snuck away and went to do it alone after all my love ones volunteered to go with me. When I left the exam room I found Ashley standing at the door waiting on me. She wanted to ensure I was ok and that everything went smoothly. That meant so much to me. As a woman I have never felt so much empathy from other woman like I had during this process. Luckily everything worked out for me...but the way I was treated I felt I was in good hands either way.

Miserable, I found City MD open! Hooray! Staff was professional and polite. I saw a PA within 15 minutes. After examining me and asking pertinent questions, she ordered 2 prescriptions for me and gave me clear instructions about home care. There's a CVS basically next door where I got my scripts filled and purchased the other things suggested by the PA. I came here as a result of having a bad sore throat which I feared would be strep throat. When I…read morearrived, I was directed to the kiosk to sign in. I noticed one other person in the waiting room. I was told there wer three people ahead of me, that the wait would be about an hour. Understood. After completing the kiosk sign-in I was sent another link to complete the information sheet. In as much as I had to do that on my phone, it took some time since my phone isn't a tablet. I guess it makes sense, but the new technology in this industry takes some getting used to, especially when your from the baby boomer group and accustomed to completing forms on paper. No problem. After completing that step, I was called to a waiting room to await the check-up. After about 10 minutes an assistant took my vitals and said the doctor would be in soon. I waited another 35-40 minutes and the doctor came in, assessed my symptoms and cleared me of strep. I was happy to know that. I would have given them more stars, but I didn't feel valued as a patient. I realize it was a Saturday evening and many came after me, but the attitude was more mechanical rather than caring. I am not sure I'd return, but it's definitely better than going to the hospital.
