I typically hate having to get blood work outside my dr office, but sometimes you can't help but having to get it done at a lab site.. Had to take my twins to get their labs done, so I went to the quest located in Rockville, LI. Site had great parking with is always a big plus.. Site was clean and easy to find in the building. We got there a bit earlier, I was hoping to be taken sooner, but it didn't happen. But, at least we were taking right on our appointment time. We checked in at the self check in machine, it was pretty straightforward to use. There was a worker at the desk if you needed help. Phlebotomist , did her paper work and handle both my kids. Her energy was a bit low, but maybe she was having a long day. Kids said she was good with the needle and they didn't feel it ( so she gets a pass ) I would definitely go back if I have to. read more

I had to come here the other day to get some bloodwork done and was dreading it all week (I hate getting blood drawn, I mean who doesn't?!). The first sign that it was going to be a smooth appointment was when I pulled up to the massive parking lot.. so many open spots to choose from! The second sign was that I was called into the room literally within one minute of checking in for my appointment time. Things were looking good! One moment later, I had the good luck of receiving Glenyss as my lab technician. I was a "chatty-kathy" as I always am when it comes to needles, but her bedside manner, friendly & warm personality, and sense of humor really put me at ease. I had to get two vials drawn and I couldn't even feel or notice when she transitioned to the second one. It was over before I knew it! I've had blood drawn several times in my life and this was hands down, the best experience ever! On top of all that, Glenyss gave me a sticker from the movie Cars, as I "seem to be a car guy." I literally felt like a kid again.. how cool! LabCorp, if you're reading this... Glenyss over at your Rockville Center location for sure deserves a raise! She's doing an incredibly amazing job and is a great asset to your company. read more

Labcorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Rockville Centre, New York

Had a great experience at this facility. After checking in at the kiosk, I was pleasantly greeted by Jessica who checked me in and then also was the person to draw my blood. She was very professional and friendly and quick. I would recommend this lab and definitely request Jessica to draw your blood! read more

I visited Labcorp on 11/14 for a blood draw. As a walkin, the wait time was very acceptable. The registration process is quick and easy and I was taken after a short wait. Jessica was the technician for me, She was professional and friendly. She smiled and had conversation with me which was good for a nervous person. She listened to my past experiences as I am a tough stick. Shed was quick and painless. I was done before you know it and on my way. An excellent experience. I have recommended this office to family and friends. read more

The wait time was extremely long. I was here for two hours. There was not a lot of seating so a lot of people had to stand the entire time. The staff itself was nice and the facility was clean. It was just the wait time that ruined the whole experience. read more

Fast and efficient, very friendly and on time. Easy registration. All results are expedited quickly.

I had blood work done at LabCorp in Rockville Centre. What a welcome surprise to find such a clean, comfortable and well-run office! I was especially impressed by the staff. Everyone was professional, personable, and courteous. Nadesh could sense I was nervous took very good care of me. I worried for nothing - the procedure was painless. read more

This was my first time here. I was a walk-in appointment at the end of the day. They're getting people in and out. The team wasn't overly friendly but very efficient - and honestly, that's all I care about. The person (nurse?) that drew blood didn't introduce herself but when I said hello she warmed up. Honestly, I think they're so use to doing the same thing all day it's almost robotic. She was sweet and answered my very few questions. LabCorp has an app that you can download and see your results. I received most of my results by the next morning! read more

Clean professional and fast. Glennys took care of my daughter whom was super nervous. Glennys was kind and gentle.

Very nice people who were clearly understaffed. However, the pain and bruise on my arm from blood being drawn was unnecessary. I've had many blood tests in my life and very few hurt as much and left such an awful black and blue mark on my arm. This is why I would not recommend this location read more

Chaotic, unorganized and unprofessional. I am sure they are indifferent as such rating do not affect their job security but if possible avoid this location and go to another. There is a LabQuest down the hall that appears to be cleaner and friendlier. read more

Took my Dad here for blood test. He has pulmonary fibrosis and requires oxygen. The portable oxygen operates only if you inhale. He can not use the oxygen properly with a mask on. He is fully vaccinated and had proof of vaccination for COVID. The lab demanded that he wear a mask. I explained his breathing issue, they ignores me. No mask, no blood test. I told them lack of oxygen causes dizziness. They didn't care. He got the blood test with a mask on. When we left he got dizzy in the parking lot and fell. Terrible place! No one has sense enough to allow for flexibility of the rules! read more

I came here to get testing done & was done really fast. They close 30 mins for lunch so be mindful of that. However, the staff was nice & efficient. I would return! Thanks for the speedy service lab corp. read more

They get you in and out fast but there's always an issue and they have an attitude. The first time I had to get blood work done for my pregnancy and they didn't take the amount of tubes of blood that they were supposed to. Once I got home they told me I had to come back because they forgot to take one more tube of blood. Then when I saw my OB he told me they didn't take the right amount of blood they were supposed to so he had to take more blood himself. Ridiculous. The next time I went I had to fast then have blood taken then eat breakfast then come back in two hours and have more blood taken. They called me at 1130 and asked when I would be in for the second part. I said 12 since I finished my breakfast at 10. She said that was not going to work and since I left there at 9 I should have finished breakfast way before 10. Well excuse me!!!!! She said they go to lunch at 12 so if I come anytime after 12 they will NOT be there. They never even told me they go to lunch at 12! She had a huge attitude too. There's always some kind of problem at this location. Won't be going back if I need any more blood work that's for sure. read more

I have cancer. Due to my medical situation I need lab work. Every time I have been to this location I have had quick service. The nurses are kind and know how to "distract" you, while drawing blood. 12/8/2020 Mary W. Freeport, NY read more

Great service the lab technician her name is Glennys she took care of my husband and I. She did a magnificent job doing our bloodwork today! Very professional and caring. Only one shot and no pain. Thank you Glennys for calming us and doing such an excellent job! read more

This place is extremely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and visit a different labcorp. I got there at 2:50 to check in. They told me there was no more seats in the waiting room and to wait in my car and they would text me. When you check in they have your phone number on record. I double checked the number and it was correct. I received no message or phone call. I went back in at 3:45 because I realized they were about to close and I received no communication from them. I went back in and the lady was visibly annoyed that I was there. She told me the drug test machine was off now and they stop taking drug tests at 3pm. I explained that this was not my fault and was a huge inconvenience and despite me waiting in the car for an hour at no fault of my own, no accommodations were made. I will never be back at this location. The situation is understandable but what was uncalled for was the attitude I received upon my entrance and the attitude that followed throughout the conversation. read more

Glennys was very professional and friendly. Made experience quick and easy. Use this site.

I had the misfortune of having my labs drawn at this particular location (Cedarhurst- Rockaway Turnpike & Mott Ave). From the point of entry to the actual blood draw...a very poor show. The front desk person was disinterested, aloof, and made sure to let you know that she was not there to greet you, or for that matter be of any assistance whatsoever. Then she flatly said "I need a credit card, in case your insurance company doesn't pay for some of the labs". I have never had a lab ever tell me that. I'm insured with United Healthcare Oxford Freedom plan and my labs are always covered, plus I had been to that lab in the past. So after an inordinate wait time, in an empty waiting room, I was ushered into the phlebotomy room, where it took - 2 painful sticks to draw my blood. Mind you, that I had gone for blood draws several times in the past year at various medical offices and they always comment on how easy it is to draw my blood and what good veins I have. Does Labcorp management even know what goes on in their outpatient lab draw centers, seems like really poor oversight of employees. Furthermore, they're getting paid for a service and I also have options, including going somewhere else. When I left I noticed a posted sign with the lab managers number, I didn't call it because I felt that it'd be a waste of my time given the basic tenor and vibe of the place. read more

Always easy......can make an appointment on-Line & appointments are honored. Plus usually less crowded than Quest in the same building. Perhaps insurance priorities. Never had a problem with LabCorp. Recommend. read more

No appointment necessary. Staff at front desk and doing the procedure both friendly and accommodating. Facility clean and quiet.

Staff is very courteous and friendly. First time going to Labcorp no appointment and I was in and out in 15 minutes.
