A high end furniture store at Yorkdale Mall with a restaurant attached to it. I had out of towners that wanted to check this spot out for their beautiful chandelier decor and food so came on a weekend to check them out. Was able to make a reservation the night before and waited about ten minutes before our table was ready once we got there. Our server was nice and efficient, always had a smile on her face. I'd say you're here more for the vibes than than the food, so it's a good snack in between your shopping if you're at Yorkdale Mall. We got: Vanilla iced latte 4/5 - Not bad and was able to substitute cows milk for other milk alternatives Truff fries 5/5 - Loved these. They were tasty, fried to perfection and had a great aioli to go with it Kale salad 5/5 - Probably my favourite thing here. Zesty, fresh and flavourful. Nicely dressed and topped with parm Burrata 4/5 - Thought this was okay. pretty standard. Came with charred vegetables that were a bit too charred for my liking. Overall, definitely here for the vibes and cute pics! Good for a quick break/ snack from your shopping as well!

I really loved this place - first time going and I got exactly what I came for: Dressing up and eating nice food in the mall! Comfortable chairs, beautiful surrounding, a fun place for an occasion or just a quick bowl of fries. Everything was amazing - and I would quickly return should my wallet allow it! Give it a whirl for a girls brunch or a date night.

Chocolate chip cookie on the house for bdays

5/5 for ambiance and service. Food was good but pricey! We ordered smoked salmon ($28) which was presented nicely on a wooden board with various toppings. We also ordered the shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread ($30). The sandwich is not that big but they give you quite a bit of beef, which was fatty, tender and flavourful. It doesn't come with any sides, but you can add them for extra costs. Fries is $10 which is steep so we skipped on that! For bday celebrations, they give you a homemade chocolate chip cookie on the house. It's thin and crispy on the outside, but chewy and soft with melted chocolate on the inside. This was a nice touch! Price point is definitely higher but stays true to the atmosphere you expect at Yorkdale. Given that you seem to turn a corner and walk straight down the hallway towards their isolated venue in Yorkdale, the interior design speaks for itself. It's definitely a beautiful spot for fancy functions and just a great celebratory venue. Chandeliers hanging between a fantasy/enchanted forest color tone of their furniture amongst plants and leaves. Muted notes and shades of grey and blue, it really is eye catching and a spot where you'll like to experience a dine in once even though you know it'll be a bit more expensive. That being said, I find that the shared plates are quite decent in terms of portion for the price. The mains are smaller than average at that price point, or rather, there's no sides that comes with the main meal and you'll have to add on for a price. Smoked Salmon Platter 4/5 - smoked flavours were subtle but definitely paired nicely with the quite sour pickled veg and salty capers. The addition of their parsley provides a freshness to the dish. Sourdough was too dry for my liking though. Fried Artichokes 4/5 - quite a taste dish of salt and unami, and the artichokes were fried to a point where it's similar to eating fried kale in terms of texture. I do wish there was a bit more soft flesh from the artichokes. Otherwise, paired nicely with the garlic aioli. RH Burger 3.5/5 - not a bad burger per se, but nothing spectacular that makes me want more. Basic and well balanced. Lobster Roll 3.5/5 - another well composed dish with fresh lobster chunks. Nothing that was exceptional and is rather small for the price. It wasn't heavily seasoned nor was there too much sauce, which makes it more appealing and not heavy as you may get from lobster rolls. Truffle Fries 4/5 - great amount of truffle and parmesean. Well coated and seasoned nicely. Comes with a truffle aioli to enhance the truffle flavours but not necessarily required. Overall nice dish but once cold fries weren't as appealing given they were the thing cuts. Coffee was nice. Chai was quite sweet.

A+ for pictures and feeling fancy. Let's be real, sometimes a girl just needs a little dose of pretentious upper crustiness. And this place offers it in spades. And, the food is also pretty delicious! Located just outside of the store, this long beautifully decorated restaurant is perfect for insta and selfies. Caught up with a girlfriend over avocado toast and truffle fries. Highly recommend!

Not the first time I've eaten here. They have great burgers (forgot to take a photo of my burger) but the truffle fries and shrimp cocktail are the best.

Excellent brunch. For a special occasions and or a unique experience I can say this place rocks. From the moment you walk in you are surrounded by this garden experience. The service is very good. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food coming from the kitchen looks so good its hard to make a decision. I ended up with avocado toast with some sides. The toast was amazing. The truffle fries were ok, I have had better and not worth the $25 Grilled veg was very good. Highly recommend.

Located inside Yorkdale. Beautiful ambiance. Food came out fast, everything tasted great. Will definitely visit again.

This is a great spot when you're very tired and hungry from shopping and spending thousands on your girlfriend. I love finishing it off with some relaxing food at RH! Setting is always awesome and the service is 5/5. I do wish there was a bit more lighting. I would recommend the truffle fries. Probably the best i've ever had.

If you appreciate the ambience of a restaurant, RH is one you must pay a visit to. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, extremely comfortable and the level of service is top notch. Their menu is simple and offers a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches and salads. We were seated after our party arrived. We got a nice booth table surrounded by greens with a beautiful chandelier above us. The booth seats were cushioned with accent pillows at the corner. We each ordered the avocado toast, RH scramble, smoked salmon, shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread and the truffled fries to share. They brought everything out together, however the avocado toast I ordered was pretty burnt. I spoke to our waitress and she was extremely nice and did not hesitate to bring it back and put in an order for another one. The new one she brought over shortly was much better. I guess it wasn't the right timing to order avocado toast as the avocado was not very ripe which is not their fault. I really did enjoy the truffle fries and the bellini was great! It was a great experience and definitely a place to visit once in awhile!

Our section of the RH interior. Wide open spaces, we'll designed, beautiful and natural light coming through

Restoration Hardware has always been at the top echelon when it comes to providing top quality furniture and products and that persona and mentality definitely carries over to their dining side. Many may not have known, but RH started developing a dining aspect to their business some time ago and in some locations, it's incorporated along with their storefront. The Toronto store definitely has both aspects and a treat for anyone in the area. The restaurant offers a very chic and elevated dining experience and while dress code isn't enforced, I always find myself wanting to look a little bit more presentable when coming. Location / Interior: Inside the Yorkdale mall, a multi-volume space with the dining on the ground floor. The presentation always amazes me and with a combination of chandeliers, well catered and chosen tables and greenery, they really transform the space into an exquisite, modern and welcoming vibe. The space is nicely laid out, roomy, has a nice waiting area for those waiting on seats and they really partition out the space really well for these pockets of seatings. The space is multi-volume so it feels very wide, open and clean and at this particular location, they also have sky windows so the natural lighting that comes through is a great touch. A++ for the interior design and layout. Really showcases who they are and what they're about. Service: Everyone is very professional, super-friendly, and knows their stuff. This alone shows the care and professionalism that RH wants to strive for. Food: After several days of non-stop eating out on our trip, we decided to take it light and both have a caesar salad lol! You can add protein so I added chicken which had a nice flavorful seasoning. Plus it was cooked really well and not dried out. My partner got the lobster which was delicious and tossed lightly in butter. However they charge just as much as the lobster roll so just all things to consider what route you want to go there. The caesar is designed so you have to chop it up yourself. They give you the entire romaine leaf in pieces. The dressing was great but the cutting was a bit tedious but thats ok. I'm all for that presentation lol. We both got tea lattes and they offer oat and almond milk options for you dairy sensitive people like myself. I ended up with the matcha latte and it was executed on point. Summary: Great location for a nice date night, girls night or even if you're coming in a group of friends or family. The space isn't crammed so strollers or larger parties are well accommodated. The menu is nicely catered but don't expect some crazy fusion restaurant style with a lot of new type of items. It's a lot of classics done really well with a few interesting options. This is more about having a nice meal in the company of whoever you're with and definitely having some drinks. : ) Can also be a nice place to sit down and enjoy yourself after a full day of shopping. If you've never been to a RH restaurant before whether in NYC or Toronto or elsewhere, definitely give them a try.

Burrata with roasted peppers and sourdough bread
    Nimish H.

We stumbled across this restaurant at Yorkdale Mall and decided to give it a try. This is a fine dining restaurant build inside a furniture store! We ordered for few cocktails, Burrata and Truffle fries. The Burrata came with roasted peppers and sourdough bread. I feel that both had a bit of burnt taste. The Truffle fries were fine, cocktails were fine. All in all it had a good service but not worth the cost.

(Reservations are encouraged!) we had reservations today + were seated almost right away. I love this location for business lunches because the ambience is great, service is incredible + food doesn't disappoint. We enjoyed salads today, one with smoked salmon another with broiled. (The Gem is my fav!) A glass of Prosecco is always a nice addition. Pricing is a tad on the higher side however, ambience and service make up for it! Oh, and truffle fries for dessert are always a good idea!

Window owners everywhere, this is a window covering solution you won't find at any hardware store. If you have a ceiling or bulkhead that sits directly on top of the window frame -- that is, there's no wall space between the top of the frame and the ceiling -- you've probably done what everyone does in that situation: mount a half-moon style rod hook on the frame itself. So you know what happens: you can see the top of the frame above the top of the curtains, and you get a line of light coming in at the top, because the curtains can't sit high enough to cover the whole window. Well, Mark's got an app for that. :-) Ask him for the ceiling-mounted rings. They come in all the same colours as the rods. Oh, and you MUST buy the rods, too. You know the kind you get in hardware stores, the expandable kind? You know how they sag in the middle because they're not sturdy? And how your curtains get stuck in the gap? And then you have to pull too hard on them, and the next thing you know you've ripped that cheap rod hook right out of the wall? Well, so far, I've bought... let me count in my head...six sets of solid rods and ceiling supports from Mark, and they're the greatest things. I keep showing all my clients and tenants, and they're amazed they've never seen such a simple curtain solution anywhere before. I tell them, just go see Mark at The Drapery King.

One of their sales reps told us we could buy a curtain to take home and then exchange it if it wasn't the right colour even though it's in PERFECT condition. Had them cut rods but they weren't cut properly even though the measurements were CORRECT and they won't do anything about it. Thought about having them install curtains too but when we realized that Mark, the owner, chooses (on a whim or based on how he's feeling that day) who gets a better price for such services, we opted out. It's hard to support small businesses when this is how they run their business - especially when it's something custom and so specific like curtains, rods, etc!

I don't understand why there are such low ratings here. I'm sure many people here are just browsing, and I rather have a sales rep give us the space and only come to us if we need help and seriously find a piece we're considering. So I have no issues with how no one really came up to us. There's a lot of lighting, but personally, not enough contemporary/modern lighting to our liking. We did take some pictures of the few we liked that are more contemporary-inspired. However, we don't love it enough to pull the trigger. The prices for the lighting are very high for the ones we looked at, about $1500 (for that round chandelier) to $5600 (Criss Cross silver lighting). We liked the look of the round chandelier the most. To our surprise, our neighbour has the same one. So loses that unique appeal. Also don't know how we would change the light if it burns out? Lighting is all personal preference. This trip nothing really screamed "this is the one" for us. If you're into other design themes like traditional, industrial, mid-century modern etc, you may find there is more to your liking than the modern/contemporary styles here. I still recommend to check it out though for yourself if you're in the market for lighting.
