I think most of the people come here for the ambiance because I will say that it is quite nice and you really have to see it for yourself. However, the food was mediocre and for the price it definitely was not worth it. I do want to come here again and try their brunch because unfortunately I came here around evening time. Waiting times can be quite long, I was told to wait for 1.5 hours but only waited about 35 minutes. Our server was really nice though and apologized for the waiting time - our food took forever to come! Came here on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend for brunch. The place is absolutely gorgeous! We were seated immediately since the place was pretty empty around 11:15am. Our waitress was very kind and was very attentive to our needs. I ordered the turkey club sandwich with salad and my friend ordered the eggs and toast. My turkey sandwich was MASSIVE but it was so delicious. The toast is toasted with butter with a hefty amount of turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon. The Restoration Hardware at Yorkdale is NICE. You've already seen the insta pics on your feed probably but the space is absolutely beautiful. It's quiet and serene to walk through and every room has such balance to it. I would check out the top level for sure because it has a nice Japanese garden feel and an outdoor terrace. I wish this could be a venue for events - that's how nice it is. The cafe on the first level also has great service. Their food is a bit pricey but if you want to go for some cute pictures, why not splurge on a brunch. I had their avocado, egg and toast for $13 and their Texas toast is to DIE for. I would come back for that alone. I also had a prosciutto, cheese and fruit board which was okay but probably not worth the $22 I was charged for it. I would also say that the cafe on the first floor is really cute. They have a wide variety of espresso drinks and pastries. Honestly the whole place is gorgeous and really worth it for a visit. "This place is everrrrything!" What time we arrived/Wait time? I've been here 2 times and once we had to wait an hour, and the 2nd time we had to wait 30 minutes. They grab your number and you can walk around the mall so it's always good to go maybe an hour before you're starving - just a tip! Atmosphere? Absolutely gorgeous. It's beautiful. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest and in a fine art gallery all at once. It's so cute and quite small. The couches are so comfy and the chandeliers are so luxurious. The thing is, this Restoration Hardware location is more like a showroom than a store. Everything is on display to inspire you, but don't expect anything to be in stock. This is not IKEA (no offence, I love you, IKEA). Instead, there are many employees and consultants to help you make your purchase, which they'll deliver to your home. The Restaurant - Again, not a restaurant. Try, enchanted indoor garden. It's super magical inside and in my experience, the food lives up to the hype. Super cheesy grilled cheese, a buttered and bursting lobster roll and the smoked salmon platter were easy favourites. All in all, whatever reason that makes you wander into Restoration Hardware, you are sure to leave full and probably with a Cloud Couch on your credit card. read more

This place has been on my list for a while, not just because of how gorgeous it is, but also because of the unique concept: a multi-level luxe home furnishing/decor store with an idyllic little cafe on the main floor. Went here for my birthday and we ordered the RH Burger (Fave! 5/5), Slow-Roasted Chicken (Could've used some veggies on the plate for interest - 4/5) and Shaved Prime Rib French Dip (The jus was REALLY salty, but otherwise it was perfect! 4.5/5). They all came with a choice of salad or fries with garlic aioli. The fries were PERFECTION. Definitely filled up on those and had to take half the sandwich home. They brought a little birthday treat at the end too - a warm chocolate & sea salt cookie with a little candle. Although it was a 40 min wait for a table (they'd said an hour), we didn't mind because we spent it happily exploring the gorgeous store. Our server came by and said she'd return as we needed a minute to decide what we wanted to eat. 15 mins later and she was no where to be found so we called on another server- who looked a bit annoyed as she was the only server around. She came by and gave some bullshit lame excuse that the other girl went on a break and that she'd be covering our table now. Does not make any sense since we were there at opening on a weekday. In any case, not too thrilled about this place. This place is too hyped up for what they offer. I knew nothing about this place so I decided to go in to check it out. I randomly found a robe I liked so I looked everywhere to find somebody to help me with it. When I finally tracked somebody down, they informed me that it's not in stock but he can get a consultant to order it online. I wanted to think it through and decided to buy it after lunch. After lunch, I came back and there was a greeter at the door so I asked if he's working for the restaurant or furniture side. He informed me that he works for both so I asked if he was able to help me with the robe. He instructed me to go upstairs and I'll be able to see the full collection and one of the consultants is able to help me on the second floor. Once I got to the second floor, there were no consultants and I couldn't find the collection of robes. I wasn't able to find somebody to assist me since I wasn't sure who was working there. Furthermore, I didn't understand why the greeter was wearing a headpiece if he didn't bother contacting a consultant on the second floor to assist a customer. The food was decent, no wow factor but I mean I dont think people are here for the food anyways but to admire the beautiful setting. I found the veggie beautifully present however impractical in sharing and it had very awkward pieces like full length carrots that were slightly shaved down. The service wasnt as you would expect from a store/restaurant as prestigious as it makes itself seem. The waitresses that we had-experience with, seemed fairly new without much experience. 4 floors of interior design heaven! While waiting for a table for lunch, we walked around looking at all the furniture and we were in love. Customer service was great as well, always someone around for you to ask for help but gave you distance to browse. After an hour, they texted us saying our table was ready at the restaurant (even though initially they said it would be a 2 hour wait). Both the service and the food were great. Restoration Hardware made it to Toronto! Honestly, it is furniture/interior design goals. I am absolutely in love with the whole place and can't wait to come back when they switch the showrooms up. It is four floors of beautiful... various bedroom, washroom designs and a garden on the top floor. I loved my visit and even though we had a bit of wait for the courtyard cafe, the process was easy enough. We left our phone number with them and they texted us to check-in when the table was ready. My boyfriend and I ordered the prosciutto plate to share and lemonade to drink for himself and a iced chai latte for me. Overall, I think the gorgeous chandeliers and atmosphere really made the experience great. Food wasn't anything particularly special and quite pricey but the service and interior design is well worth my 4 star! read more

This furniture is beautiful and very pricey. But the customer service is horrible. They are so pompous. We spent $30 000 in furniture. We ordered custom sofas. They were supposed to arrive 6 weeks after we placed the order. 6 weeks later they called us to say they were ready for delivery. When we called back they informed us that no, there was an error and they order hadn't even been placed yet. (They had already taken a the deposit) and it will take 8 weeks. No apologies, no compensation just too bad. They even said we could just cancel the order, not even caring if we walked away. No word from our store consultant or concierge..he gave us a number with no voice mail. I never write negative reviews, however I feel I have to say something in this case. It's disgusting. If you want to spend on good quality furniture go to Elte. Way better service. read more

Restoration Hardware Cafe has the most elegant chic vibe! The decor is absolutely beautiful with their chandeliers. The wait is never more than 15 minutes in my experience, however, even the wait time goes by fast with Restoration Hardware's excellent shopping area. The display shopping rooms are definitely something to checkout. There are four stories of display rooms at this location, and the top floor has an amazing relaxing leafy vibe. I'd assume the fourth floor is even better in the summer time when there top level patio's are opened. As for the food, my all time favorite is there kale-ceaser salad, and there truffle grilled cheese. Both dishes are extraordinary and never fail to fill my appetite. The burger was your typical gourmet burger, which wasn't a bad thing but nothing to truly wow you. I enjoyed the cut and cook of the fries, not too thin or overly crispy. However, when I finally got the chance to have lunch at Restoration Hardware Cafe, I was completely blown away by the quality of the food. The menu is simple but well done. All of the ingredients are fresh and you can taste the difference that that makes. My friend and I started with the Baby Gem salad which had feta, radishes, avocado and a lemon dressing. The kitchen was even nice enough to split it in 2 portions for us. All I can say is, wow. Best salad ever. Already planning my next trip back so I can order that salad again. For mains I had the truffle grilled cheese (super good) and my friend had the club sandwich which she enjoyed too. Thank you Restoration Hardware for being superb hosts! I had never been to the cafe before and didn't know what to expect. The cafe was Glamorous and elegant. The food was divine. The best part was the staff! From start to finish they made sure we left happy. We sipped on wine and mimosas for hours walking from floor to floor, ate chocolate chip cookies, and ended the whole thing off in the cafe for brunch and pictures. So I went into the store , I often go here to get my coffee which I love. This time the regular staff were so miserable, no one smiled and everyone just looked at me with such disgusting faces. I carried on because I really wanted my coffee and the gentleman who severed me was very nice and friendly and got me and my sister a latte. We decided to sit down on the couch because I know how comfortable they are to enjoy our drinks like everyone else. As soon as I sat down the gentleman who was working on this floor, not sure of his name because they don't have name tags. He had dark brunette hair and large beard and a navy suit. He was so miserable as looked at me and my sister with such disgust like we don't deserve to sit here. Then another lady who worked with silver hair and a cream suit and heels walks over to him and they start pointing at us from a far and then they start taking to each other. After 5 mins of trying to enjoy my latte they continued to look at us with disgust. Found that really silly since there were other people sitting there, clearly they don't like people of colour. Not a very welcoming place, considering I have bought many pieces from RH in the past, which is no excuse to treat anyone like this. It was so intimidating that we couldn't even enjoy our drinks and we just left. I have never been somewhere where the staff look at you like your nothing. RH you need to monitor the people you hire because clearly they have issues and don't know how treat the customers. As I was leaving they followed us until we left the building as to insinuate that we shouldn't come back. Won't be coming here for another coffee again. I will still to buying any of my furniture online. Considering the staff that work in the gallery, I wouldn't feel comfortable buying from there. I haven't had a bad experience in restaurants for a long time. Congrats that RH broke my record. We made reservation and sat at 5:15pm. The server took our order. We asked where our food is at 5:55pm. We were being told that the chef is wrapping up our orders and they were coming soon. 6-7 min later we were been told that our orders didn't get into the system at all in the first place. The server and manager came to apologize. Our one sparkling drink and one starters' fee were waived. We asked for a discount on main courses but was refused. The food was okay but the overall experience was unacceptable. I got very mad that the server told us that our food was coming when we asked first without even checking. Very disappointed overall. Yes, the restaurant is amazing and we had a great experience there, but the actual furniture sales part of the store is a terrible nightmare! We had a horrible buying experience (in store was great, it was the delivery that was awful!) and would absolutely recommend people avoid buying anything from this company and save their money! The furniture quality is embarrassing, the customer service team offloads problems onto their customers, and you are left to deal with the issue yourself or lose a hefty amount in fees and non-refundable deposits if you choose to return. fabulous place! A wonderful lady named Monica greeted us, asked us if it was our first time here, and we said no (were from nyc). She explained what Restoration hardware was in the most simplest yet amazing way. I asked her what her tattoo meant is was the name "Christopher" in huge writing that took up her whole forearm. She explained his unfortunate situation with mental illness & we bonded instantly because my dad has the same thing, she reassured me that in both of our situations there was no need to feel sad but to be an advocate for people with mental health. Very sweet, easy to talk to kinda girl! She suggested us the Burrata to start, and suggested the ribeye & avocado toast! We realized our food was taking too long and she IMMEDIATELY came fast walking with our food in minutes, she apologized constantly for the waiting and greeted with 'bien provecho' meaning 'bon appetite' in Spanish!
