We went to Nirvana on Saturday March 14th to specifically buy a couch. The salesman/ owner? Was 15…read moreminutes late in opening up the store. No apologies just excuses. We were buying a customized couch....The salesman didn't want to help with colours, he didn't have any pictures of the customized pieces..... we asked him how long it would take for the order....He said 12 weeks but couldn't even guarantee that because" something may come up" S we were expected to pick out colours and types of fabric etc.... All DIY... Then the issue of delivery charge came up and it was going to be $ $450.00... He gave All kinds of excuses... We have never pd that... we are 40 min from Toronto...... The salesman was rude, obnoxious and very unhelpful..... So we walked away.... We were willing to spend$5000.00 on this couch. Instead We went to the Chesterfield store where we were greeted in a very friendly not pushy way and we ended up getting a gorgeous couch for much less than the other couch at Nirvana. The delivery cost was also less than half the cost of Nirvana's. The salespeople were friendly, knowledgeable about the product and overall gave an excellent service. If you want quality, good service and the price they can give you go to The Chesterfield store on King St East, Toronto not Nirvana in the MANULIFE Centre in Toronto

I am a repeat customer with Nirvana, where I went to buy a new couch about 15 years after my…read moreprevious visit. The salesperson was friendly and helpful, although when she outlined the delivery options I was a little startled by how much these costs have risen since the pandemic. Still, I'm very happy with the couch now that it has arrived -- it is not only attractive but also extremely comfortable.

Very high-end furniture boutique. They have a selection of chairs made in Europe 100% made of…read morebeachwood, that are also completely customizable with fabrics and wood finishes. These chairs would range from $800 to $1000 each. They are absolutely gorgeous and the exact ones you'd see in pages of architectural digest. You can almost feel the heft and quality the moment you sit in and touch these chairs. All the base models of the customizable chairs are available and on display at the back of the store. Pieces available here were truly works of art. They are unique and luxurious. The kinds that you would walk in to a 5 star european hotel and go 'wow'. However, they are not 'universally appealing' or 'easy, accessible design' so to speak so the items here could be hard to appreciate if you aren't really into art and design. I like to think this store would be able to furnish some famous Parisian architect's house or items you'd see in a Balenciaga store.. Or some really well-traveled billionaire's house. Edgy, trendy, unique, oh so chic. 1 star off because prices are high!

Horrible customer service would best describe this furniture showroom. I wrote a review based on my…read morecustomer service experience approximately 1.5 weeks ago on IG for this organization. It turns out the company blocked me from their social website for indicating discrimination under the Ontario Human Rights Act. They discriminate potential customers based on age and status. They discriminate potential customers wearing COVID-19 masks and follow the customer in and around their showroom without acknowledging their presence. They dismiss potential customer inquiries all together and do not conduct the necessary follow ups as indicated by the customer. I visited their showroom at the end of 2023 requesting for a writing desk with specific dimensions. As a result, the associate or owner I conversed with insisted he would follow up regularly. All communication ties were cut after my initial visit and made a conscientious effort to stay in touch with them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORGANIZATION TO THE COMMON CUSTOMER. CLEARLY, THEY DESIRE SPECIFIC CUSTOMERS SUCH AS INTERIOR DESIGNERS AND THEIR CLIENTELE. AS A MARKETING INSIDER WHO HAS TRAINED AND OFFERED SOUND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MANY COMPANIES, "PLACE PEOPLE OVER PROFITS FIRST!!!" SUCH A SHAME THAT CANADIAN COMPANIES DISCRIMINATE YET USE BUZZWORDS SUCH AS "BUY LOCALLY, SPEND LOCALLY!" TO LURE THE CANADIAN CONSUMER TO SPEND. SUCH A PITY!!!!
