The chandeliers are stunning and give the whole place a really elegant, upscale vibe--it feels more like a showroom than a typical restaurant. We ordered the chicken sandwich, RH burger, chicken salad, and fried sweet potatoes, and everything came out really solid. The standout for me was definitely the burger--the patty was juicy and flavorful, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly. Easily something I'd recommend if you're going for the first time. The chicken sandwich and salad were both fresh and well-balanced, and the fried sweet potatoes were a great side--crispy on the outside, soft inside, not overly greasy. Romantic date night at RH tonight :) Walked in on a weekday at last seating 8:30pm. Really enjoyed the food and service. Started with a bellini and a glass of wine. We then shared the Hamachi Cavier, Lobster Salad and Petite Lamb Chops w/ peppercorn creamy sauce. The head of the butter lettuce was a HUGE surprise LOL. All tasty nonetheless. A high end furniture store at Yorkdale Mall with a restaurant attached to it. I had out of towners that wanted to check this spot out for their beautiful chandelier decor and food so came on a weekend to check them out. Was able to make a reservation the night before and waited about ten minutes before our table was ready once we got there. Our server was nice and efficient, always had a smile on her face. I'd say you're here more for the vibes than than the food, so it's a good snack in between your shopping if you're at Yorkdale Mall. It doesn't come with any sides, but you can add them for extra costs. Fries is $10 which is steep so we skipped on that! For bday celebrations, they give you a homemade chocolate chip cookie on the house. It's thin and crispy on the outside, but chewy and soft with melted chocolate on the inside. This was a nice touch! Price point is definitely higher but stays true to the atmosphere you expect at Yorkdale. Given that you seem to turn a corner and walk straight down the hallway towards their isolated venue in Yorkdale, the interior design speaks for itself. It's definitely a beautiful spot for fancy functions and just a great celebratory venue. Chandeliers hanging between a fantasy/enchanted forest color tone of their furniture amongst plants and leaves. Muted notes and shades of grey and blue, it really is eye catching and a spot where you'll like to experience a dine in once even though you know it'll be a bit more expensive. That being said, I find that the shared plates are quite decent in terms of portion for the price. The mains are smaller than average at that price point, or rather, there's no sides that comes with the main meal and you'll have to add on for a price. Smoked Salmon Platter 4/5 - smoked flavours were subtle but definitely paired nicely with the quite sour pickled veg and salty capers. The addition of their parsley provides a freshness to the dish. Sourdough was too dry for my liking though. Fried Artichokes 4/5 - quite a taste dish of salt and unami, and the artichokes were fried to a point where it's similar to eating fried kale in terms of texture. I do wish there was a bit more soft flesh from the artichokes. Otherwise, paired nicely with the garlic aioli. RH Burger 3.5/5 - not a bad burger per se, but nothing spectacular that makes me want more. Basic and well balanced. Lobster Roll 3.5/5 - another well composed dish with fresh lobster chunks. Nothing that was exceptional and is rather small for the price. It wasn't heavily seasoned nor was there too much sauce, which makes it more appealing and not heavy as you may get from lobster rolls. Truffle Fries 4/5 - great amount of truffle and parmesean. Well coated and seasoned nicely. Comes with a truffle aioli to enhance the truffle flavours but not necessarily required. Overall nice dish but once cold fries weren't as appealing given they were the thing cuts. Coffee was nice. Chai was quite sweet. read more

My guest and I ordered the very over priced burgers. The burger was extraordinarly salty, the bun was old, dry and crunch lide dry toast. It was served with a single slice of tomato and a single leaf of lettus on the side for $24.00!!! How insulting, poor food quality at a ridiculous price. Oh and BTW french fies were $11.00, at least they were hot. Dont bother dining there. I have been the RH before and the quality was there, but it has gone DOWN HILL ALL THE WAY. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. We sat in a booth and it was cozy and I felt like I was no longer in Yorkdale, but was whisked away to better pastures. I loved the chandeliers and water elements throughout. It's indeed a lovely place to dine if you want to take a bunch of pictures. The food was okay for the price. Of course it's on the higher end, but you're just paying for the experience. I enjoyed my food, but the sandwich I found to be pretty basic. It didn't taste as good as it looked. The bread and meat board was pretty meh. It didn't offer much variety and again, is pretty basic. We didn't finish it. The drinks were good though, have at it with the drinks. Oh, the fries too. If you appreciate the ambience of a restaurant, RH is one you must pay a visit to. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, extremely comfortable and the level of service is top notch. We got a nice booth table surrounded by greens with a beautiful chandelier above us. The booth seats were cushioned with accent pillows at the corner. We each ordered the avocado toast, RH scramble, smoked salmon, shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread and the truffled fries to share. They brought everything out together, however the avocado toast I ordered was pretty burnt. I spoke to our waitress and she was extremely nice and did not hesitate to bring it back and put in an order for another one. The new one she brought over shortly was much better. I guess it wasn't the right timing to order avocado toast as the avocado was not very ripe which is not their fault. I really did enjoy the truffle fries and the bellini was great! Restoration Hardware has always been at the top echelon when it comes to providing top quality furniture and products and that persona and mentality definitely carries over to their dining side. Many may not have known, but RH started developing a dining aspect to their business some time ago and in some locations, it's incorporated along with their storefront. The Toronto store definitely has both aspects and a treat for anyone in the area. The restaurant offers a very chic and elevated dining experience and while dress code isn't enforced, I always find myself wanting to look a little bit more presentable when coming. Location / Interior: Inside the Yorkdale mall, a multi-volume space with the dining on the ground floor. The presentation always amazes me and with a combination of chandeliers, well catered and chosen tables and greenery, they really transform the space into an exquisite, modern and welcoming vibe. The space is nicely laid out, roomy, has a nice waiting area for those waiting on seats and they really partition out the space really well for these pockets of seatings. The space is multi-volume so it feels very wide, open and clean and at this particular location, they also have sky windows so the natural lighting that comes through is a great touch. A++ for the interior design and layout. Really showcases who they are and what they're about. Service: Everyone is very professional, super-friendly, and knows their stuff. This alone shows the care and professionalism that RH wants to strive for. Food: After several days of non-stop eating out on our trip, we decided to take it light and both have a caesar salad lol! You can add protein so I added chicken which had a nice flavorful seasoning. Plus it was cooked really well and not dried out. My partner got the lobster which was delicious and tossed lightly in butter. However they charge just as much as the lobster roll so just all things to consider what route you want to go there. The caesar is designed so you have to chop it up yourself. They give you the entire romaine leaf in pieces. The dressing was great but the cutting was a bit tedious but thats ok. I'm all for that presentation lol. We both got tea lattes and they offer oat and almond milk options for you dairy sensitive people like myself. I ended up with the matcha latte and it was executed on point. Summary: Great location for a nice date night, girls night or even if you're coming in a group of friends or family. The space isn't crammed so strollers or larger parties are well accommodated. The menu is nicely catered but don't expect some crazy fusion restaurant style with a lot of new type of items. It's a lot of classics done really well with a few interesting options. This place is so Instagram worthy. We came here honestly just to take photos and because it's a relaxing environment. We came here o. A Sunday for lunch and it wasn't too busy, which has great because we were able to take some wonderful photos. The food: very European bistro style food. If you are vegan there is definately nothing you can eat here. As a vegetarian there are few options as there's cheese in most dishes. I had the truffle grilled cheese and it's served in sourdough bread. It was delicious and chewy and greasy. The truffle oil really came through. This was one of the cheaper items on the menu. The service is great and the waiters are friendly. The burger and fries are amazing! In my opinion. The person I go with finds the burger to taste "off" and can't stand it. I disagree and order it every time and am happy. She however likes the place enough to keep coming back and just orders something different. She loves the lobster roll, which I find just ok. She also loves the fries. So you have to figure out the item you really love. Not great as it's pricey. But, we enjoy it. 4 stars as it is very pricey for what it is. After an ill-fated attempt to dine at the Cheesecake Factory, we wound up at Restoration Hardware. It's a joint that somehow blends furniture shopping with high-end dining, but I guess it works because the food was quite tasty. I decided to go with the Turkey Club and I swapped out the fries for a salad. First of all, it's an enormous sandwich. It comes cut in two and I would've been perfectly happy eating just half (and in fact, I wound up having to take the other half home). Though I was a little disappointed by the presence of deli-sliced turkey (rather than actual piece of turkey), this is a damn fine sandwich. The various components all work quite well together and the spread of avocado along the bottom ties the whole thing together. The salad was pretty great, too. It's mixed greens topped with a subtle yet flavorful vinaigrette. (I liked that the greens were all cut down to bite size, which doesn't happen nearly enough.) This is probably the largest furniture store by a single manufacturer (barring IKEA I suppose) that I have seen in North America. This location is designed to consolidate their other two locations in GTA (the fate of the outlet is still unknown). I won't comment on the type/style of their items as that's a matter of personal taste. However this showcase checks all what's expected from them. Floor after floor of ideas. I liked the cafe along with the restaurant upfront that opens up to the mall. There are teething problems as expected as even though there were plenty of sales associates it was hard for them to pin point where a specific item was located. The staff is pleasant and helpful. My girlfriends and I were looking for a new spot to brunch .. well I'm glad I came across this gem. Simply stunning!!!! The architecture down to every detail was absolutely breath taking.. The waiters were very nice and never made us to feel rushed. We had a few different waiters so I can't narrow down my option to just one. All were polite, gracious and attentive. One poor guy had the pleasure of taking our photos. Sorry!! You just have to get a good photo in when you are here! I got mine! Now onto the food. I ordered the Kale Caesar salad with chicken. My friends ordered the lobster roll and Scrambled Eggs. My salad was surprisingly tasty.. I mean, most restaurants make terrible salads but this was seasoned to perfection. I also ordered a Mimosa.. very nice! My friends Lobster roll was tasty as well. I tried hers. It was good! Can we talk about the dessert??? I was very excited to come here for brunch with my daughter but was greatly disappointed. We came here around 12:30pm 9! Sunday and we were told it would be around a 1hour & 30-40 minute wait. This did not seem like a problem to us as they took our phone number and said they would text us when they had a table ready. We went to go shop around and it had already been 2hours and we still did not receive a text. We went back to check and they said it would be 20 mins. We sat on the couches and waited. 20 minutes passed and people around us were getting seated but we were still waiting. I went to ask again and they said they "just needed to clean up a table " another 10 minutes passed... and the staff just kept pointing at us and finally called us over. I guess they messed us the table seating. We ended up waiting close to 2.5 hours! At this point, I was not particularly pleased with RH. Then, our waitress, Deborah, came who did not seem to happy because we asked another waiter about a course on the menu. She did not come around to our table to ask us how we were doing but seemed to love the table beside us as she went to them 3 times. Something I enjoyed this place was the shaker salad! The village juice was $9 for a bottle smaller than what I can get at the actual store just a few steps away. The burger itself was very soggy. Messy to eat. The beef patties were good, but the sandwich as a whole was just really salty and soggy. Not great for $19. The only thing I liked was the salad because it came with really good fresh greens. My friend got the roasted chicken for $26. It was one piece of chicken breast, which was really tough. She didn't like it at all. The prices weren't worth it for what we got unfortunately. The server was pleasant. She told us that there were 4 floors and each floor was fully licensed. So while there are no servers beyond the first floor, you can order a drink and bring it to all the levels. I really liked it the rooftop. In the summer, you can bring your drink outside. The furniture was nice and I liked that we could sit on the coaches. I do think that unless you have a big place that can fit long tables and coaches, it would be hard to buy those items for small spaces. I did find I had a lot of fun and was entertained with all the rooms. Next time I go, I would get a drink or pastry and chill on the rooftop - will definitely skip the cafe though. One thing that I did like was you give your name and number to the the hostess if there is a line and they will text you when your reservation is ready. I'm not sure what amuses me more ... the fact that restoration hardware is made for giants or that there was literally over 20 people trying to take selfies in the showroom and pass it off as if it's their living room. So this absolutely crazy huge store is like a villa in Yorkdale. With a roof top terrace to show off the summer patio loungers and fountains, museum like rooms of bathrooms and bedrooms, champagne bar AND their own full service restaurant that looks like an outdoor patio with trees ... it's just really impressive. There are no other words for it. For those who are not familiar with the brand... imagine a posh modern and subtle elegance of a California mansion would be like. It's basically Restoration Hardware. With a colour palette of only neutrals (beige, nude, dark woods, cream, and the occasional black or gold), the whole look is subdued and simple and yet quite refined. Every room you walk into is like a magazine quality shot. There's tons of floors and rooms for you to wander ... either to gain inspiration or drool over some gorgeous piece before getting sticker shock. Oh yes ... beauty doesn't come cheap. You like that dining room table ... it's $3900 without chairs. Chairs are $400 and up ... each. A child size little tufted family room chair is $1800. Chandeliers are easily in the $8000 range and up. A few of the items I did touch felt wonderfully soft though. Where I would think it would be hard or stiff, the materials are silky and smooth. So maybe the higher price point is kinda warranted ... maybe? I did like their rugs a lot. Not sure if my toes would appreciate the extra $5000 I would pay for it. As for service, they did have a fair number of staff on each floor. They greeted everyone and I think they realize most people are browsing. That's because you need a 4000 sq ft house for most pieces. I'm not exaggerating. A standing closet was easily 10 ft tall. I couldn't even teach the 4th shelf ... I'd need a ladder to teach the top shelves. Couches are 5 cushions wide ... I could lay down and still have enough room to spread my arms out. A sales staff did laugh with us when he overheard how I felt tiny standing beside everything. He said that you definitely need a mansion for this stuff. This brings me back to the selfie takers and trying to pass this spot as your own house. No one is gonna believe you ... the fact that you have random people walking in the back drop or you see the restaurant or another furniture setting behind you is just .... baaaad. Even good photoshop can't save that pic. But we saw entire families sitting on the couch and took a shot together as if they're in their living room. Oh Toronto you're funny ... no one can afford to rent a 650 sq ft downtown condo but here you're posting selfies of your glam luxury mansion. I've got to admit some of the pieces are beautiful and the layout does inspire you. When I first walked into the gallery I was really impressed but the novelty wore off quickly. I was looking for a small console table for my front hall and was advised right off the bat that I would not find one in the store but I might online. We started on the top floor and worked out way down. Don't get me wrong, the store itself is impressive and their products are beautiful. I absolutely love RH designs and have purchase many items for my home over the years but I just found that this 'new' gallery layout seemed like it was the same thing over and over. Each room only slightly different from the last. It felt redundant and it really made me miss the old store in Bayview Village store. I can't speak to the cafe although it looked lovely. Overall, it's RH... EVERYTHING is beautiful and well made which is also reflected in the price. I've always been happy with every purchase in the past but unfortunately they didn't quite have what I was looking for this time and again, I miss the simplicity of the Bayview Village store. read more

What a beautiful place to spend the afternoon! I could lounge here everyday if I could find the time. Surprisingly busy - even on a weekday afternoon - I would recommend to give yourself a few hours here as you will most likely be put on a wait list. The food here is decent - the Shaved PrimeRib French Dip ($24) came with a choice of side salad or fries. We chose the fries which were nicely seasoned and crispy. The Garlic Aioli Mayo which came with the fries was very tasty. As for the French Dip itself, I liked that the thinly shaved prime rib with Swiss Cheese was already seasoned and had a nice tangy flavour and you probably won't need to add much jus. This review is for both the cafe AND the store - the cafe itself, like everything else in the store, is BEAUTIFUL. You may want to sit on their Cloud couch and never get up. The entire place takes up about 4 floors, the top floor with an outdoor patio. While all the pieces in the store are simply stunning, the prices will definitely deter you from making any purchases here. As for the cafe, they have a small menu with a variety of offerings. I got a latte with oat milk (if you have any dairy or lactose issues, this place provides you with alternatives). I also got the blood orange sorbet which was refreshing but just a bit too sweet. They also offer juices here so if you're sticking to some healthier options, they provide them here too. Overall a lovely experience to have a cup of coffee and chat. read more

Came here for a friend's birthday breakfast/brunch! Aesthetically the restaurant is beautiful. The lighting, plants and colour palette is very picture worthy and the seating is also comfortable. Food - over priced for what it is, $15 for grilled cheesed. It was delicious and the crust was thick but definitely not worth what we payed. Service - they were nice! Could have been more patient with waiting for us to scan through the menu. Overall only worth it if you're looking to take pictures - basically paying for the experience 3.5/5 read more

OMG is all I can say about this place! This Restoration Hardware is located right beside Sporting Life Entrance. I went here on a weekday since I've heard there is no reservation and it gets pretty busy on weekends. It's a first come, first serve. The lower level when you first enter in is where the cafe is. This place is honestly so beautiful! The interior was so pretty and I felt like i was in a outdoor setting or somewhere that didn't feel like I was in a mall. The waitress I had was very sweet and informative. The menu isn't quite big but had a good selection. I order the prime rib sandwich with a side of fries. The prime rib sandwich was so juicy and delicious! The fries were really good! They were so nice and crispy, they had a garlic aioli dipping sauce with it; which was so goooood! Overall I think I know where I would be going for coffee or a nice bite to eat! I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

I was a bit apprehensive on dining here after reading all the reviews but very glad I did. My sister and I bought our new borns here and had a great experience. They were very accommodating with our baby strollers, provided us with an end table to store them and a big booth to accommodate the car seats. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Even when she shift ended, she came by to introduce our new server. After a while, the manager can by to check up on us and spend some time asking about the babies. For food, I ordered the burger and my sister ordered the grilled cheese, both were very good. The price is a bit on the high side but look where you are dining, it's justified. Just the decor itself is worth a trip here. You get to dine under gorgeous, over the top chandeliers that makes you feel so posh and furnitures that is so comfortable you can sit here all day. read more

The aesthetics of this whole place is everything. From the decoration, furniture to the way their food is placed, everything is what you'd expect from a "high-end" brunch place. We ordered avocado toast breakfast and a meat platter, along with two lattes. The food was great, with the scrambled eggs being my personal favourite (if you like buttery eggs, this is definitely the dish for you)! Dining here for brunch is like dining at a 5 star resort with amazing views... the ambience is incredible and the staff super friendly!! Their menu is small but there's something for everyone. This is the perfect place to come with your girlfriends for brunch, their alcoholics drinks are delish and not too sweet like other brunch places.
