I visited RH outlet for the first time, and I was a little disappointed. The store was not ready for the long weekend sale, so some of the price tags haven't been updated yet. Majority of the space were for the big furnitures, and the smaller fixture section was not very organized. Some of the lighting fixtures had multiple boxes, but they were all over the place. Very bad customer service experience. Called and talked to a sale person about a couch; was told that there were two and that I should purchase both to place on hold, so that I could come in and choose one (because once leaves store it is not returnable). I went to the store and checked out both couches, explained to another sale person what I was doing and still no issue. Arranged to have the couch delivered and was then told that I could not return the other couch. The stated that their policy was that no returns from purchase (not upon leaving store). Despite, being told this by the first salesperson, not corrected by the second salesperson, and even having the delivery man tell me that it just has to not leave the store. In addition, when I called to schedule the delivery, the delivery driver did not show up with either couch (just the chairs I also purchased). Was told that I would then have to pay a second time to have the couches delivered, despite the fact that it was the store's mistake not giving everything to the delivery man. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. I would have rather paid full price to get furniture from any other store. I am now out a lot of money for a couch I don't want and an additional moving cost. read more

Staff was extremely friendly and super helpful! Some of the furniture does have small scratches, but that comes with it being an outlet store. I really enjoyed the lifestyles at the store they looked really good! Overall great store, with lovely employees, would definitely recommend if someone's looking for furniture! read more

Love the RH but can't afford the price tag? Then this is your place! Restoration Hardware Outlet is located in Dayton, Ohio in a small strip mall (quite random). The store sells current season and past season items at steep discounts. Typically the store will run promotions from 20-40% off the lowest marked price. For example, if an item is 2k retail then it could be marked down to 1k and then you get the additional percentage off of that. They have everything from furniture/lighting/bedding/baby to anything they sell at the regular store. Keep in mind since this is an outlet, all sales are final so make sure to look over your items before you purchase. Also, you will want to ensure you can pick the item up within 48hours of purchase. It's a great concept but not low enough pricing if you have to drive any distance. Some staff snooty and others helpful. Arhaus pricing better at its outlet in cleveland. Id stop by if I was on the way but don't go out of your way. The new member pricing is close to these read more

I've had horrible customer service here multiple times and swore I would never go back. That being said we were forced to get a couch same week so outlet stores were our only option. The first time we walked in we were there for 30 minutes with not one person to even look our way or say hello. Next week we went back to see the new arrivals and same thing. No one says hello. My wife then asked if anyone could help us and that's when we met the "manager" Stewart. Who talked to my wife about the pieces she liked and tried to pressure us to put them hold because they wouldn't last. I wanted to look elsewhere because it killed me to imagine spending money at such a horrible place. We went to five other stores and they all greeted us as we walked in. Unfortunately the wait time to order a couch was way too long for our time frame. After no other options I went back 10 days later to purchase a couch and chair we originally saw with Stewart. This is would be the only time I would be greeted in the store by a man named Ryan who was super nice and helpful. I took the chair that day and told them I would come back for the couch. A few days later I walked in to pick up the couch. Waited 10 minutes while everyone stood around doing nothing. My father (who was there to help me get the couch) walks in and was magically immediately greeted by Stewart. After a back and forth Stewart then realized I had spent $8k over the weekend and wanted to tell me how sorry he was that I had been repeatedly given bad customer service. That apology fell on deaf ears as his explanation was comical. When I got home my wife called up there for an explanation and Stewart then began to lie over and over about the situation. We then asked for a supervisors number and he said he couldn't give that information out. I can promise you we will never spend another dollar there and our whole house is RH furniture. Really nice staff, great to work with. We unloaded the truck together.. Really nice group of people. They were unique among many receivers in their graciousness. Really appreciated their upbeat attitudes. Nice location, overnight parking, should you come in early, but call first, just in case they have other deliveries. The entrance driveway behind the mall is partially down a "no truck" zone. There are several fast food restaurants: Wendy's, McDonalds, Starbucks, Skyline Chili. A Chinese restaurant, one more fast food & another off the main road; more upscale. There is a Kroger's on the end of the mall area & a pet store next door to the Restoration Hardware. All good areas for checking out, if here for a bit. Lots of area to walk off the miles also.. Clean, upscale area mall. read more

We love RH but seldom pay full price for the 30-40 items we've purchased. Although we recently ordered about $14k on lighting for our house at the retail store. About a year ago the outlets changed their pricing to only 40% off. You get 20% off at the retail store and they come with a warranty and the ability to return the item. We live 2-1/2 hours away and recently received an email stating "up to 80% off end of year sale". We called the store and asked if this was their usual "sale" where 10 items were marked down with everything else being 40%. They assured us that it was a huge sale. We hopped in in our car and drove the 2-1/2 hours only to find that it was indeed there usual MO. We didn't see anything at *80% off except for one item and it had been marked down 5 times due to damage and the length of time that it was in stock. Needless to say we were very upset and probably will not return. read more

They put up with multiple calls, trips and questions and not a single teammate made us feel like they were annoyed! I am a fan then not a fan of outlet store shopping. This store is okay. The merchandise is nice but definitely has the nicks and marks of an outlet store products. But, the prices are questionable. As an example - RH has discontinued all their tableware months ago. I went to find additional glasses however all were gone. There were sets of the New Yorker appetizer plates which would look great in my bar. Regularly $30 the outlet had them for $23.60. - so 20% off. Meh. Most items were priced that way - anywhere from 20 - 50% off. If you spent $100 you received an additional 25%, so not bad. I did buy some outdoor lanterns and outdoor battery candles, but when they were on clearance and with my membership discount I paid less online. It is worth the trip but don't expect a $3500 sofa for $1000. Nice area, nice store, staff was okay. One lady was sweet but not efficient; the other was efficient but not so sweet. :). All in all, I'd go back. read more
