The prices on those items were steep. Most of the larger household items like furniture or home maintenance essentials were visibly damaged. Lots of "ding and scratch" products. I wasn't very impressed with the prices, there were some bargains, yes. But plenty of the products were above the price point of other off price stores in the area. I also found a couple of health and beauty products that were labeled "not for sale in the USA" (see pictures) do with that what you may, but I was hesitant due to the uncertainty of the ingredients. Overall, if you're looking for an off-price store for various products, this would probably fit the bill. Is it the best? No. It's alright. It may be worth a look, but I'd recommend managing your expectations.

The paint was chipped off on the "feet" of the cart and came off when touching it. Flaked paint was literally on my hands when I touched the wheels. I asked the cashier if she would be able to give me a discount on the rolling cart. I really didn't want to pay the full price of $59.00 for an defective item. She looked at me and said: I will not discount the cart but you are welcome to buy yourself some paint or a white marker to repair it. Ok- so let me summarize. I am paying the full price and then go out to buy sanding paper, paint etc to make the item look like new when it was supposed to be new at purchasing? I always liked HomeGoods but this experience makes me want to go to their competitors now. It has been a long time since I have experienced such poor customer service.

Anytime I move or want to redecorate my living space, Home Goods is my first stop to look for everything from new dishes to wall art to decorative pillows. This Home Goods in particular is usually pretty well stocked with quality home pieces at prices that are hard to beat. Keep in mind that they usually don't restock the same items twice, so if you see something you like you can't assume it will be there the next time you stop in. I've also run into the issue of HG only having one item in stock when I need two (i.e.: a set of matching lamps or pillows). Can't say that's their fault, just something to keep in mind.

The items appear to be of good value on-line, with a large selection of merchandise from which to choose, but in reality the merchandise that arrives is only slightly above dollar store quality. There were signs posted for "buy one, get one 50% off" on sweaters. That was nice but still at the prices they have, more than I wanted to spend . My daughter and I had , of course loved many things and had to choose a few. As the woman was ringing up the pile I had , I asked if there were any additional discounts or coupons that I didn't know about. She whispered something to the girl next to her and then said "yes, we have a BOGO on sweaters". I said "I can get TWO for The price of one ?!" She said "yes!" I said "that's a game changer " and had my daughter run and get the two she had wanted . A few min later I looked at my receipt and saw I was just given the buy one, get one 50% off. That's a very different thing. I went back to the store and expressed this to the woman and told her I felt it was misleading and a very different thing. She was extremely snarky, rude and snapped "well, if you don't want it just bring it back!" I said I couldn't do that as now my daughter had her heart set on it. When she whispered to her coworker earlier, It gave me the impression it was an upcoming promo that she was getting permission for. When I called her on it, it was obvious she knew what she had done as she was so defensive and rude . With the overall theme of this beautiful Store, this made the incident even more disappointing. She clearly doesn't belong and is void of the right spirit or ethics. She doesn't speak well for the store . The younger gals there were great. Steer clear of the older Woman with short curly hair and you may enjoy your experience .
