I absolutely loathe going into this store. Somehow someway I'm always made to feel uncomfortable in…read morethis store. Whether it be employees handing you clothes trying to upsell you, or following you around trying to tell you things would look good on you, etc. but today I went in to make a return. I had bought gifts for someone and they recently passed away. I went in with my receipt, got to the counter and the guy first tells me "sorry we can't accept returns after 4:18." At first I'm like haha funny. But no I actually wanna make a return, so he calls the manager up. From there he proceeds to tell me that if he "makes anymore returns he's going to lose his job." Then makes the joke again as his manager is standing next to him, he then looks at me and says "are you sure you want to return this I'm about to lose my job because of you. Do you want me to lose my job because of you ?" I reply man I just want to return this. He then proceeds to joke about how the clothing is his size "are you sure you want to return this" at this point I'm uncomfortable and just want to get out of the store I reply yes I want to return this. He then starts scanning it and asks AGAIN! "Do you really want to return this" at this point I'm fuming I finish my transaction and leave. I will never come in this store again. I will go to a department store and pay full price before dealing with those clowns again

But being at an outlet mall, I expected to see better deals. So on this most recent trip, I left empty handed. Better luck next time? I will say that we love their products. I will say if you find a shoe you like buy several pairs as they will be gone in a few days, weeks, or months. I tend to buy 2 of the same shoe just to last long enough to find another pair I like. Today the staff was wonderful, very helpful and help with ordering a second pair as they only had one in my size in stock. If you do come in join the rewards program every $100 gets you $10 in rewards and you get free shipping as well so bonus. Best part is no cards, just your phone number. I will be back as I like the shoes. Comfortable and for me the slip on's are perfect.

This store is huge. For being an outlet store, I was surprised at how much winter gear they had…read moreduring winter. Part of me was expecting mostly t-shirts. This store is heavy on apparel. The kid's section is larger than I was expecting. There is a smallish shoe selection in the far corner, near the registers. Some prices were great, other not so much. For the most part, the store was well kept. A few areas were hard to navigate with a stroller. There wasn't much in the way of customer service. The only employee I interacted with was the cashier. He was fine. If you are a fan of the Columbia brand, there is a much larger selection here than at any outdoor or department store.

While the store itself can be a bit overwhelming, stocked practically to the ceiling with everything from band tshirts to fan girl merch to accessories, I have to say that I've always been impressed with how friendly and approachable their staff has always been. Once we had a tshirt that didn't fit, and exchanging it was no hassle at all. Their sticker prices might seem a little high, but between sales and their rewards program (you get store dollars for every so much you spend) I rarely pay full price for anything there.

I love Merrill shoes. They are by far one of my favorite shoe brands. They have proved to be…read moreextremely durable, well made, and offer an appropriate amount of support for my feet. This outlet carries men's, women's and children's shoes. An extremely limited selection of clothing and accessories are also available. Accessories include outdoor items such as hats, socks, hiking bags, and bandannas. Discounts are not nearly as good as they were when the location originally opened. Prices on my last few visits have been on par with a good sale at a non outlet store. For that, I am taking away a star. They have the selection, but no longer have the edge on pricing. For me, this makes them more of a check them out while I am at the outlet mall rather than a destination store.

I recently bought two pair of Merrell Hydros in two different sizes, planning on returning one after comparing the fits, only because they stated "free returns." When I completed the return process, the statement reflected a $5 FEDEX "drop-off fee". What? I contacted Merrell and a snippy customer service woman stated that it was FEDEX's charge, not theirs. What? After I asked her to explain how that is "free", she huffed and agreed to credit me $5... "one time only." Wow, won't be shopping at Merrell ever agin.

I am going to look further into this, but I believe he (Chris) could possibly be the manager?? Someone made a poor decision promoting this guy. Besides just being rude and unprofessional, this guy had a Trainee shadowing. Who He verbally reprimanded at one-point during our exchange for trying to help. "Why don't you keep your hands in your pockets, stop talking and listen" Thats what this person actually said to a trainee... I certainly hope that someone "higher up" reads this and gives "Chris" a better suited career path in line with his attitude and his interpersonal skills or lack thereof.

I was looking for something more sparkly which they tend to do better so I stopped in. Just walking in the front door I was impressed. The store is large, bright, and fancy looking... not to mention very well organized for the crazy Christmas season (which leaves most places looking like a tornado hit). I was instantly greeted by a friendly sales associate who explained the current sale to me... 70% off PLUS an extra 20% on most items. Items that were special prices already and void from this sale were clearly marked (and Still insane deals). There was something for every price and quality point. They don't just carry purses/wallets etc but they also have some clothing &jewelry. They had things for these deep discounts that are currently being sold at Macys for full price. I left with presents for myself and others and felt very accomplished that I got some amazing deals!
