The pecan had zero taste and was wrapped in plastic which means they probably buy them cheap and sell for a huge profit. Pumpkin pie had a very rubbery texture and again zero taste. We were so embarrassed as no one ate the pies. We threw them in the ditch next to our house. Totally, totally disgusting. Save yourself a ton of money and get yourself a $2.99 Mrs. Smith's pie from the grocery store and a pumpkin pie from Costco. A fraction of the price and at least they're edible!

We've passed this place often, but my wife and I finally had an opportunity to stop in this week. Being naturally drawn to sweets, the pies and the cakes were the first things we looked at. What an amazing selection! If you like pies, that alone is enough reason to come here. Since it's almost Fall, we bought a pumpkin cream cheese roll. It was absolutely amazing! We also picked up a couple of apple cinnamon scones for breakfast the next morning. We have friends who say the tomatoes here are the best around, and that's saying something since we know all the places with great NJ tomatoes! The vendors change from week to week, but the usual staples are always represented -- farm fresh produce and flowers from several vendors, home made pies, craft cheeses, yummy baked granola, and healthy whole-grain baked goods. On a recent Saturday, Pickle Licious of Teaneck, NJ offered up their terrific olives and half-sour, full-sour, and hot & spicy pickles. There's plenty of free and convenient parking in the Bernardsville train station. The market is open from 9am til 2pm, but be sure to get there early as many of the vendors are sold out and packed up by noon. Most of the vendors only accept cash, but there are ATM's located at the Wachovia bank across Mine Brook Road and in the Bernardsville train station.

They have several food trucks with lots of different choices. They have a nice farmer's market that is nicely decorated and has plenty of items for sale. They have a great selection of pies too. Also, there is an ice cream stand next to the market opened daily, all ice cream is homemade and fresh! Their hot apple cider and cinnamon donut was a great treat! Since finding Ort Farms is not too far from us, we'll be back next year once the crops are back in season.

The farm was beautiful and well maintained. Playground was in perfect condition and even looked new! the kids definitely had so much fun. We went to their orchard and it was very organized however the PYO apples seem pricey for a small bag of $8 or $12. This was a separate purchase from the admission ticket which also included the orchard entrance and their hayride. During our visit (Sept) was also an event so they had vendors and a live band which was neat! there were enough tables/chairs fyi. We also tried their homemade icecream and I absolutely enjoyed their pumpkin patch milkshake and their special caramel apple cider slushie float which included an apple cider donut! it was so good! they also sell apple cider donuts and other homemade breads and pastries inside their well kempt shop! sure enough we had a lovely visit at their farm and would love to revisit again some day soon!

There was no signage about it so when we arrived we went inside the market to ask. They gave us a pair of scissors to use and let us know that sunflowers were $1 more per stem. (This was a great deal! I've been to other farms that charge more.) We walked through as cut as many flowers that we could fit. The farm wasn't too busy so it was enjoyable. After flower picking we got ice cream from their ice cream window (this was the pricey side) and sat at a picnic table watching the goats. Tranquillity Farms was a short ride up 80 West. They have plenty of parking, fresh produce and other goods in the market, and a jungle gym for the kids. I couldn't find a bathroom - only saw portajohns. They've started their apple picking season so I plan to return soon!

You'll find a decent Produce section, a Butcher/Deli Counter, Frozen Foods, Dry Goods, Goya Products, and a small Fresh Bread section. Good prices on almost everything in here and the employees are pretty cool.   This is exactly what this part of town needs so I'm hoping it's all going to work out for this place. It's as much a convenience store as it is a Farmer's Market. There are alot of locals who travel on foot and don't want to walk all the way to the larger Grocery Stores.   As I said it's new so I don't want to get too picky but some of this produce is a little past it's freshness point of usage. I do attribute that to the fact that not enough people know about this Market yet. But we'll see, I'll definitely be returning here from time to time, especially for the Fresh Cuban Bread and Avocados.
